Barmouth Kebab & Pizza House in Gwynedd

Food was actually really nice but the staff were quite rude on both of our visits.

Really nice pizza (farmhouse extra tomato sauce is my fav) and kebab - recommended! Edit: their chicken kebab is fantastic! Strongly recommended!

Out of town visit , got a pizza and chips , and sausage and chips only thing was edible was the chips they where very nice sadly sausage cooked to death and the pizza was extremely greasy , and some how over cooked and undercooked , cheese was burnt and meat and onions undercooked almost raw , cold meat and raw onions , sorry to say im happy this isn't a local takeaway to me

Fantastic kebab! Love shish and koftas so just perfect for me. Big portion of onion rings really hot and crispy! Definitely be back.

Chips are absolutely banging. Pizzas are a little on the soggy side, I would suggest they spend longer in the oven and reduce the amount of cheese on the pizza. They have a fly zapper in the customer area that makes extremely loud banging noises on a regular basis - hence the 1 star rating for atmosphere. This light needs to be fixed - or put it somewhere else.

Lovely food. Chicken was real unlike some places where it feels processed? Friendly service, prices about right for seaside places and great choice. What's more to like.

Fabulous fresh pizza & kebab, clean & tidy with friendly staff. It's just a shame they don't deliver as if we're drinking at the caravan parks for example on holiday, we can't order there. We use this every time we're in beautiful Barmouth. Highly recommend.

Spent few days in Barmouth coming from Liverpool, wanted to stay in one night so ordered from here, honestly was the best kebab we have had in years, everything was perfect husband got combo kebab was lovely .. thank you

Pretty much one of the only places that are open till late and great that it's halal as well. Went twice in the short stay in Barmouth and whilst very busy, food was pretty decent with large portion sizes. Tried the kebabs and the pizzas. Both were good. However bare in mind, you do need to pay in cash.

Was a little unsure after reading some of the views but the food here was absolutely lovely! Really worth a visit and great value!

Placed a phone order for tray of kebab meat, no salad, hot chilli sauce and a tray of chips. Got it home to find pitta bread, donner meat and salad. Check your orders before you leave!

Pizzas are BANGING from here! And the good thing about this takeaway is they’re open late. Most places shut early around Barmouth!

Chicken was cooked good and quick, nice spices, salad cut was too rough, fries not the best taste.

Being a local i use this take away quite a lot for me an my kids. We always enjoy it and the staff are really friendly and happy. The Salads are so fresh. The pizzas are divine and piping hot and the kebabs are amazing. Carnt fault this place at all ive never had a bad take away andbeen using this place for yrs

We ate here 2 nights. We ate a 12" Chicken Supreme Pizza between us the first night which was very tasty & lovely & hot. The 2nd night we had burgers. Again well cooked & tasty. This eatery had a 5 star hygiene rating. There are also tables inside where you can eat your food at no extra charge.

Lovely fresh tasting food with excellent customer service.

Haven't tried the food, but everyone uses the 'kebab shop' as a point of reference for those looking for the beginning of the walk path for the hills next to Barmouth town. Trekking tip: Take the small road by the kebab towards to the hill, then the path going left and up which is the beginning of your walk. The path splits left towards the church and right. Both routes take you to the top. Useful: If you can, please sticj to the official routes. It is not only safer, but does not disturb the sheep and destroy the flora there. Happy trekking!

Having left a nearby establishment for terrible service we were delighted with our treatment at the kebab house. The chicken was some of the most delicious and succulent we have ever tasted. Thank you for saving our time in Barmouth!

1. Good food. 2. Open when everything else is busy or booked. 3. No customer Toilet 4. Told me they would not separate the sauce but did in the end and put it on the side. 5. Fried Chicken wings were good. Done was perfect and not too dry.

Big portions, freshly prepared, quickly. Good service.

Really good pizza and calzone. You can tell that they're using quality ingredients. Definitely worth the money.

Found the " food" greasy and luke warm ,will not use again = avoid.

Just had a quick takeaway from here and have to say... Brilliant. Wife had a vegetarian pizza, mine was a donner, shared a garlic bread and all were tasty, vfm, and ready within 10 minutes.. What more could you want?? 😎

Read some pretty poor reviews about the place but as there seems to be nothing else around doing kebabs and pizza like we were after we decided to go ahead and try it. We were not disappointed. We had chicken and donner kebab it was huge and the chicken was lovely, small donner meat (again huge) and a pepperoni pizza that we are are now taking to the beach with the cheesy garlic bread we got free for dinner the day after ha ha. Food was nice and portions were very good the kebab and tray of donner meat could easily feed 2 people each which is why we have the pizza and garlic bread left over.

Wow, stopped off waiting for the train. Had the large kebab. Massive amount and proper fresh salad. 6 star award.

Staying in Barmouth not had pizza before from here. Was clean and quick. Had two pizzas one normal vegetarian and one hot vegetarian. Both were lovely and hot good toppings. Chips were hot too. Would have pizza again from here.

The pizzas was perfect and the staff are a lot nicer towards customers, they are willing to have a joke but know when to do their job. The staff seem willing to make customers happy and always serve with a smile. (the food was takeaway)

Omg ordered a salad I can honestly say I have never seen so much onion on a salad there must have been at least 4 onions on it all sliced up also asked for no dressing on the salad and he dribbled something over it and all I can say is it tasted like Gherkin vinegar really horrible it went in the bin so please be aware you don't get salad you just get onions as the amount of salad that was in there you could quite easily feed a hamster!!! Really need to rethink their salads especially when all I eat is salads

Called in late one night as I fancied a Kebab. Nice gentleman behind the counter but the Kebab was very dry and for £5 I thought he should of gave us more. It wouldn't fill you up if you were hungry.

A couple of times I left it too late to eat in the local eateries due to service finishing at 9pm. But I didn't go hungry. I had the pizza one night, and a burger and chips on another night. The prices are exceptional when you think of the quality which is really good. Food cooked while you wait so you know it's fresh. It's hot and really tasty too. Service friendly and efficient. Well worth a visit.

Food was ok. A bit overpriced for the portion size. Could do with more salad on the kebabs. I would use again.

It's a meh place food is sometimes burnt and the pizzas are expensive. The quality when they are cooked and not burnt are actually pretty good although staff don't care and are often rude

pizza crunch was seriously bad,the chicken on my mixed wrap was burnt to a crisp.wasnt impressed at all as on other occasions use are faultless.dont know if it was because it was a late order or not.very poor

Good hot food delivered on time

Went here tonight and I was stupid enough not to check reviews out first. Worst chilli sauce I have ever had, tasted more like a cheap ketchup with chilli seeds in it. It really was a poor kebab and I would never go there again. Staff were very rude.

Rotten. Com black hairs on pizzas and rude vile staff also 9 pound for a ten inch pizza swerve if you know what's good for you

Horrible.. The strips of kebab meat where thin, small and greesey, the burger was dry and tasted horrible and so did the chips. The Overall quality of the food was nowhere near what I expected with how much i paid. Dont even do kids meals.... Thats a joke in itself

Not been funny if you want a family meal then go a restaurant,the kebabs are quality and taste great .No issues quality kebab if this is what you want,can’t fault this place

Used a couple of times on our week holiday. Perfect pizzas and the kebabs are superb too...really nicely cooked. Only thing I would say is make your own Chilli sauce. It was nice but like out of a bottle. Would be perfect if the Sauce was pukka. Still good though, would recommend!
