Can't fault the food, the food was really good and the cocktails were not too bad , but I will never be back plainly for the rude member of staff chasing us out of the restaurant that they needed our table and offered to put our cocktail and beer in a paper cup lol he practically slammed the bill that was in a jar and repeatedly telling us to hurry up , we booked a table for 18:00 we didn't get seated till about approximately 18:15 got to about 19:20 19:30 and that's when he started trying to chase us out , no people skills what so ever , never in my life have i been treated like that in a restaurant absolutely disgusting

Very busy, so definitely worth booking. Staff very pleasant, welcoming and attentive. Food was excellent, had to take a doggy bag home for the first time, I just couldn't leave the rest behind & it was just as delicious the next day. Only reduced star on atmosphere because I have sensory overload issues & noise levels were a lot for me a couple of times.

Came here as we had a gig to goto next door ,fantastic place I got chilli and it was excellent as was the lentil soup wife got BBQ chicken stack and that was good also , nice staff waitress knows how to chat to customers excellent service and the wife loved the cocktails ,so well worth a visit ..top class

Party of 2 adults and 2 kids went for lunch. Although it was busy, the staff were fantastic. Nothing was a hassle for them, and they were great with the kids. The food was good, and the portions were large (even the kids meals!) We are already planning our next visit without the kids as the cocktails looked fantastic! Great overall experience

I often find it hard to find a restaurant that me and my girlfriend like. I visit Jam Jar pretty regularly and have got to say - It is by far the best restaurant I have ever came across. The service is spot on, the portion sizes are out of this world and the price is extremely reasonable. It is by far the best restaurant in paisley and the Glasgow area in my opinion and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

Laid back restaurant with something for everyone. Pizza is very tasty and they have a large cocktail menu. Servings are large! Service is wonderful and very kind. Next time I’ll need to leave room for dessert, it looked delicious.

Always get the same dish but feel over past couple of years the veg has changed. Loved the Mediterranean veg now its peas and carrots.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place tonight. Went in with a colleague for food, service was great and for the price - food was really good too! We did think it looked closed from the outside though!

The food & cocktails as always were good, but the last couple of times we've been in we have felt very rushed and unable to enjoy the meal properly as a result. There were 5 of us booked for 5:30pm and even at the time of booking we were told the table must be back no later than 7. We didn't order starters which was just as well as we never actually got food until we'd been there an hour, the order wasn't taken until we'd been seated for 45 mins. Since the time before we were reminded that we had to give the table back a couple of times, we rushed our food and then it transpired while waiting on the bill, that the next booking had cancelled and they asked us if we wanted another round of cocktails. We had places to be so we declined, but yeah thankfully none of us wanted desert as we wouldn't have had time to eat it in normal circumstances. I think if there are only a couple of you it would be fine but if you're looking to chat and enjoy some food and cocktails as an experience/evening out its likely not the place to go.

I absolutely love this restaurant. I've been here several times with various different friends, and I've always had an amazing time. From the food, to the staff, to the cocktails, it's a really fun experience. Their speciality, locally named cocktails, are amazing. I love the Jam Jar iced tea in particular, though I am always partial to a Very Berry Mojito. The waiting staff are always so lovely and helpful, as are the bar staff. Highly recommend. They also have a lot of veggie options which is excellent!

A SUPERB gem of a restaurant in Paisley. Great food, fantastic cocktails, presented in a diner-style with a chilled atmosphere. Above all though were the friendly, cheerful and ever-helpful staff. Give this one a visit, you won't regret it.

I would highly recommend going to the jam jar in paisley. The service was amazing, very attentive staff and they are super friendly. The food was just amazing and high quality. Also we did not wait long for our food to be brought out to us and the owner even came and asked if everything was ok. He was really friendly and also had a big smile on his face. Everyone who works there are just lovely.

went with my mate for dinner last night, both had the sharing platter then half pizza half pasta and it was excellent!! staff couldn't b any nicer and so friendly. cocktails where really good as well. bill was very reasonable. will b back in the near future to try other stuff on the menu.

Visited for lunch on Saturday 24th June with my friend. The staff were so friendly and the service was excellent. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed a delicious lunch and a lovely Scottish gin, the name of which I could not pronounce, but it was fab! Highly recommend Jam Jar. 👌

First time visiting here today can honestly say service and food were great would definitely recommend.

Jam Jar is always a winner. Went in for lunch today, we were first in after they opened at noon. 30 minutes later the restaurant was full. The food and service here has always been impeccable. Dining with two kids, both accidentally dropped their cutlery during our meal - before we even had a chance to look under the table, staff were on hand with clean cutlery! Jam Jar never disappoints, simply brilliant.

What a great find! Both me (vegan) and my friend (meat eater) really enjoyed our meals, I had the veg supreme (done vegan) and they had a half pizza, half lasagne which we absolutely devoured to our satisfaction 😄 Even though it was clearly a busy night, they found us a table for 2 and we're very attentive and helpful - genuinely very friendly team here and it shows, we even got all our food in good time despite a clear rush and big parties. We had 2 waitresses, one with red hair and one who was blonde (sorry I don't have better ways of describing you both 😅) and they made our meal with great service 💚 Great night, great food, great place.

Had lunch in Jam Jar. I had broccoli soup and then a steak sandwich (below). Both were very tasty and piping hot. Beer was nice and cold. Friendly staff, good menu with gluten free options. Excellent

First time on Jam Jar, very impressed with not only our welcome but the quality of our food, my sirloin was cooked to perfection and well presented, my wife was also impressed and we will be back
