Barburrito Kitchen in Trafford

Big clump of hair in my veg bowl. Disgusting. Gave me refund. Feel ill at thought of it. How have they got food hygiene rating of 5!!!

Right from the outset the service was poor, the team didn’t seem to want to be there. The way I was spoken to again, not really acceptable. What was the worst point of it all was getting to the till. I ordered two things off the new favourites poster. Any little bit of sauce or something to match the picture was an extra cost. Quite ridiculous and it should have been made very clear too! I can say with confidence, I will not be back again!!

This place is disgusting.. went shopping at Trafford center and decided to give it a try as this place was not busy on Saturday lunch hours and I didn’t have much time to queue. Ordered a burrito and the gentleman behind d the counter started to put it together then suddenly started to sneeze and cough all over the food. No masks being worn!!! Totally unsanitary and disgusting. I apologized and walked out!

Overpriced joint for what I’d say was the worst burrito I’ve ever had. Ordered the loaded burrito with pulled beef. Burrito was so thin it looked more like a wrap. Even my daughters chicken burrito had more fillings than mine ! And the loaded burrito was supposed to have twice the amount of meat. They don’t give any sides tortilla chips with the sandwich much less extra salsa. At the end £24 quid for 2 burritos and a soda. Bad customer service too, they talk to you very risky and any additions to the burrito will cost you. Just terrible! Find another place for your fiesta.

We went on a Saturday to the upstairs venue - Trafford Centre was packed as per usual for a weekend, and the food court was jammed. BarBurrito was empty so we chose there - well there’s a reason it’s empty. Never been before but the menu is confusing. You don’t really know what the system is - you ask for a standard classic then you get asked various questions - all mumbled by an unenthusiastic employee. All of them seem to add more £ to the already high price. If you dare ask for clarity you get a snarky response. The staff member actually put twice the beans on one burrito instead of equal on both - but I thought no big deal, we can redistribute at the table. But there is zero organisation behind the counter - it’s an absolute mess in terms of who’s doing what, to the point where I’m fairly sure our burritos got mixed up with the only other customer in there. BUT The final straw… I wanted to pay cash (didn’t have my bank card) but was told it has to be the exact amount because they’re a cashless business. Not entirely sure why this would mean I need the exact change but I expect a scam to extort the extra change out of you. You’re not a vending machine ffs. Anyway we walked out and left the food they’d just made. Their loss. In future let people know this bizarre business practice before they go through this mind-numbing process. Pointless place.

I can’t really comment on the quality as there is so little in the burrito that it’s impossible to judge the food! I had a vegetarian burrito, hardly anything in it. Complained as was told “I just work here” and “you can have more but will need charge extra” £8.50 for an empty veg burrito. If your going to eat here be prepared to have to eat something else as well because it won’t fill you up

Expected a proper burrito, but left disappointed The options not many to chose from. Thought the add in options for the burrito was very small . The burrito I ended up with was bland and lack flavour. Picked the jerk chicken the flavours were mild only the hot salsa gave it some heat but no taste. Expensive for what it was. I would nt recommend and I would not done here again.

First time visiting Trafford Centre, after walking the full area for where to eat, me and my partner settled with Barburrito. My partner had the nachos and went through with the lady what she wanted on it etc I had the classic burrito, but had beef instead and some other bits. we was both really impressed with the taste and quality. We used to love coming here but like many other reviewers, no more! We visited on a Wednesday night around 8.15pm and there was barely any food left! No veg, no chicken and what was available looked dry and over cooked?! We were told in a rude and non-apologetic manner to try the one downstairs instead as we’re nearly closing (closing time was 45 minutes away). The staff member was sniffling and wiping his nose with his hand which made me feel sick! For info we went to the one downstairs and they had no chicken either and for some reason their prices were all about 50p-75p less for the same food! How does that make sense? We chose something else in the end and I wouldn’t bother going back to this place again. They actually did us a favour as looking at the menu it’s significantly reduced options but massively inflated prices! Rubbish, I would avoid and to management I would really take note of all these reviews as you are losing loyal customers….

I went with my friend because there was no queue and usually burritos are beautiful but not today. No no no it tasted of air i could have had free oxygen instead and it would have had the same effect and my friends coke tasted funny as well.
