My friend bar soba is very not happy you closed down the bar soba in Glasgow uni area as her name is soha and she would like to go to bar soba in the near the future being her name is soha therefore sober soha needs to go to bar soba to not be sober anymore as her name has been soba for a long time before it shut. Without doubt the worst pad Thai I have ever encountered...rice noodles seemed to be covered in teriyaki sauce...bits of red cabbage and tofu...served on a flat plate. I what can only be described as a slurry. Clearly the chef has no idea what a pad Thai actually looks or tastes like. The lads serving were pleasant if not enthusiastic.

Super disappointed with the food, it's changed so much since last! The satay sauce has never seen a peanut in it's life and overall portions were measly, flavorless, poor presentation and far too salty.

Beautiful restaurant with very welcoming environments and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is extremely kind and the service is quick and impeccable. Asian dishes of various kinds, all delicious

Bar Soba Mitchell Lane is definitely one to try when in Glasgow! They have an extensive food and drink selection, with interesting and tasty Asian-Fusion food. I had the Singapore noodles when I dined in, with a few of their signature cocktails - special mention to their watermelon and hibiscus cooler, it’s insanely good. The staff are friendly, kind and very accommodating of any dietary or allergy requirements - really taking their service to the next level. The atmosphere is also very chilled-out and modern yet still chic. Would 100% recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for tasty food in the heart of Glasgow, even if just for a quick bite!

So dark that I couldn't read the menu, or see my food once it arrived! Also, music so loud you could not hear yourself think, let alone hear any conversation.

Was in for the new Soba Sunday Roast! Was amazing, such a tasty spin on a classic meal! The range of fun Cocktails were unreal too! Would 100% recommend & can’t wait to go back!

Visited on a Tuesday evening and was surprised how busy it was. The cocktails were delicious and had money off which is always nice .Had a twister can highly recommend . The food was very tasty and option size was generous .Would highly recommend trying Bar soba .

Boozy brunch deal is the best about, £30 for a main meal plus 4 drinks each - don’t get cheaper than that! The place was buzzing and excellent music, we stayed for drinks in the bar after our food. The staff are friendly and welcoming they let us try some of the candy floss cocktail it was delicious - great work

We visited Mitchell lane for a girls night mid week, the place was buzzing for a Tuesday night and had a great atmosphere. The cocktails were fabulous and well presented, the food was delicious and the staff couldn’t have done enough for us - well done and thank you for a great night, we will be back to visit soon.

Had a Valentine’s Day Date here! New cocktails are delicious and food never ever disappoints - good portion sizes and reasonably priced too. Staff tonight were wonderful too - Sophie, Leigh, Sasha and Dean were so friendly and provided amazing service to myself and my partner. A restaurant you must visit, they’re great for vegan, veggie and gluten free menu items as well (which are actually very tasty too!). Will definitely be back 👍

We dropped by here for drinks and dinner after work and managed to get a table quite easily on a Thursday evening. There's a decent selection of both drinks and food, which was tasty and well presented. The staff were friendly and the prices were about right. Overall a good experience and we'll probably visit again in the future.

While we enjoyed our food and overall visit was fine, we had an issue when it came to paying. I understand going along on NYE meant they would charge what they like, however i had chosen this place knowing about their student discount, had asked when we arrived and was told the discount could be applied and then also saw that they offered usual discounts on selected drinks. While i can understand maybe the drinks discount not being applied because of nye, not once was it specified anywhere (website when booking or in the restaurant) that my student discount wouldn’t be applied. That was until we went up to pay and i mentioned my student discount and was brushed away by staff saying it wouldn’t be taken off of the bill because it was nye. I wasn’t in an argumentative mood so sucked it up and paid, however don’t think this was good customer service, and think its valid to assume i would be able to redeem my student discount. Just because it’s nye doesn’t mean these things can always be thrown out the window imo.

A few weeks ago we were in town on a Saturday night trying to find somewhere for food. It was around 7pm and we walked past Bar Soba Mitchell lane and saw the restaurant side was very quiet. We tried to get in to be told by the bouncer it was bookings only. When I asked if they had any bookings available/can we book I was just told "no idea". When so many places are struggling it's a shame that potential customers can't even make it inside to check if there's space!

Haben gestern dort mit fünf Personen ein vorzügliches Mal gehabt. Die Reservierung online ging easy, das Interieur der Bar hat mir sehr gut gefallen, die Bedienung war überaus freundlich und das Essen Ultra schnell am Tisch. Es hat vorzüglich geschmeckt, die Schärfe war a Point. Eine für uns fünf veganer ausreichend große Speisen Auswahl. Für mich das einzig negative: es war sehr laut, so dass wir uns mit unseren Freunden kaum unterhalten konnten. Aber vielleicht bin ich einfach schon zu alt.🤣

Definitely worth a visit if your in glasgow. Just off the main shopping street and very close to some great bars. Food is delicious and portion size is decent you can't go wrong with anything on the menu but I recommend the Teriyaki (beef or chicken) Price is good for the food and service but they have a lunch menu that is so cheap I'd definitely recommend taking advantage of it. Drinks here are another big plus so if your going in just for a drink you'll still leave happy (try the nuclear daiquiri) Atmosphere is very chilled so if just dropping in for lunch after shopping for a quick bite or on a date night it's perfect. We've visited this restaurant loads of times and it never disappoints.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon. A friend booked for us to go and I hadn't been before. Food was lovely but was a but dismayed at how loud the music was. My friend said that she was surprised as not like that in the past. Guessing that it might be a better option to try on a weekday.

My friends and I had a lovely meal here our starters and main courses were delicious. Lovely staff too! Only downside is if the main door is left open the draft is horrendous

The food was amazing! We had teryaki noodles. The drinks were good but i had to get one remade as they were a little heavy on the syrup. Staff were more than happy to fix it though. We went for the boozy brunch which was a great deal!

Food was amazing and the service was great. We went for the boozy brunch and I ordered the same drink 3 times and each one tastes different. I had to ask for another to be made as there was far too much of the syrup in it. It was extremely sickly!

Initially sat upstairs. Stools and bench seating not very comfortable. It was also very dark in there and everyone had to use the torches on their phones just to be able to see the menu. Ordered starters which took a long time to come, but were good when they finally arrived. Waitress offered to move us downstairs when a table became free and that was much more comfortable. Mains served downstairs were also good and came quicker than the starters did. Overall I liked it and the food was good. I'd go back.

Waited 30 minutes for drinks and empty dishes sat on the table for a while. Understand it's a busy time of year but it wasn't really mobbed.

Bizarre experience on Friday at front door. Me and the missus finished work and went across the road to get something to eat. Security guard "yes? Can I help you?". No, I said, we're just coming in for food. "Food?" Yeah, some noodles. "I don't what they sell in here, pal. Anyways, we're busy" You're empty. "You'll need to go somewhere else pal" Can I come in to speak to the staff? "I told you, we're busy" - what if I'd wanted to book for later. or tomorrow? Or be offered a drink whilst I wait for a cancellation? BIZARRE that the guy on the door, on a week of train strikes, gets to turn folk away (no access to their booking system) - dressed 'office casual', to the 9's, North face and Columbia puffers. Nothing scabby about us. In our forties. What's up with the grief chief?

Absolutely superb service delivered by our server, Paul! Visited on Tuesday earlier this week after work with my friend and quickly noticed the stand out handling of a busy restaurant, at peak hours, flawlessly on his own. Taking orders, making drinks, delivering food and attentively ensuring each table was happy was nothing short of a masterclass. Lost a star as my rice was undercooked, although the visit was nice and we felt welcome and cared for from start to finish.

Delicious foods - many vegan options. The Thai lemonade is absolutely fantastic. 2 of us split the cauliflower, the veggie dumplings, the Asian greens, the super Thai fries, and the buttermilk chicken burger and it was all so good. We were quite full but not unhappy as all the dishes were satisfying on their own. Highly recommend sharing many dishes.

Over hyped, expensive for the quality of food. But very busy, so they won't try to up their game.

I said to server just to note that there wasn't much chicken on my daughters teriyaki chicken; another chap appeared and asked if I had a problem with the meal, I explained it was delicious but was not much chicken; he said I can see lots from here - I wish I had replied 'what like six chicken scraps', this was when she had nearly finished her meal and were lying at bottom of plate. (You can see the picture attached - this was my plate when it had just been served, there is no chicken!!, and when u do get some it's small scraps). I am just used to getting some proper chicken pieces in a meal when u order chicken. (It was tasty, more chicken required though... felt a bit awkward with my daughter after that chat) I preferred the service and food at the west end bar soba.

Went for a meal , it was okay , the meat was burnt in my Singapore noodles had that awful burnt taste , wine is decently priced , cocktails on other hand are expensive, thing is they only accept card it isn't stated online at all , I had cash only thankfully my friend had her card

Popped in to Bar Soba for a impromptu midweek lunch. We ordered the Buttermilk Chicken burger and the Teriyaki Chicken from the £6 lunch menu. Both dishes were delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient.

This is next to the lighthouse and tucked in, so easy to miss. The place is hip hop and food service is really quick. I ordered pad Thai chicken&prawns. As it is an Asian fusion food the taste wasn’t certainly what a pad Thai is but ok. The prawns did let me down. They weren’t prawns but shrimp as you can see. So would suggest go with chicken only. No use paying extra. 12.5£ Also had chicken dumplings. 5 for 6£. Which were nice but once again overpriced. I also had their Singapore slush which was nice but at 9£, wasn’t very special. It worth it. Taste wise food is 4/5 but price wise 2/5. I’m sure there are other options to try.

Boozy brunch was good but lacking in choice for the “boozy” part. Chicken burger was rubbish but that’s a poor choice on my part. My partners curry and both starters were great.

Been a few times to Bar Soba. The food is always lovely. Had food off the £6 lunch menu today and the portions were huge. We classically ordered gyoza too and could not eat it all. Definitely value for money with this menu but equally, so is the normal one.

Great experience for lunch at Bar Soba! First time there and the food was great. The second we walked in Kevin greeted us and asked if we had been in before. Since it was our first time he explained the theme of the restaurant, made recommendations and engaged. We loved the food ! I especially like spicy thing so would recommend the Three Monkeys drink (I had two!) Overall amazing lunch experience in town. Kevin and the staff were great and we will definitely be back for dinner soon.

Went last night for dinner and drinks. The food was amazing, wasn't a bad thing that we tried. Cocktails were fantastic and brought quickly. The service was lovely the entire time we were in and it also felt like they were taking every precaution during this time. Would highly reccomend and will definitely go back again

Simply put this is the best hidden restaurant right off Buchanan Street. Delicious food, nice cocktails, good vibes.

Visiting from Canada and me and the girlfriend decided to give this little gem a try. Ordered several items and was extremely satisfied by each item. (The beef noodle and side of fried veg are MUST haves) Service was stellar on every level. (I believe his name was Kevin, 5 stars to him too!) If you're looking for a chill atmosphere and top notch cocktails than this place is also an A+ spot. (Try the mojitos and an old fashioned, best I have had in years) All around a great spot.

Been here a couple of times now and the place is always busy - so worth booking in advance! Service can be a bit slow at times, but the staff are always friendly and make the experience excellent. Food is great too and they offer a lot of mid-week deals which are great value for money. Will return for sure.

Really poor customer service. We told the bar staff we were just in for a drink. We made our way to an unmarked table to sit. A bar person ran from behind the to lecture us that the table was reserved and the bar was fully booked. We stood beside the table. We finished our drinks and no one arrived to take the table. Exceptionally poor customer service. At least 4 people who will never return.

Fantastic food, good service. The flavours are excellent and portion size is good for the price.

Always great food here, ive been a few times and enjoyed it everytime. Katsu vurry yesterday wasnt as good as ive had before from the same place, but the rest was lovely and staff were friendly
