I live locally and thought I would give Bamboo Mat a try on 8/7/23 for lunch. I am so glad that I did, the waitress was so lovely and recommended dishes for me to try, The food was exceptional , I had the Salmon Takaki to start followed by the chicken Anticucho. I would highly recommend this restaurant and wished that I had stopped by sooner. I will definitely be back and was so impressed, I have ordered a takeaway from there this evening

Both online and on the door says open. Yeah right. I just tried at 17:00 on a Friday night... First, and last, visit. And I only wanted Sushi.

Visited a couple of weeks ago after seeing great reviews but was even better than expected! The food was so fresh and full of flavour, we loved everything! The service was very friendly too. Can't wait to go back again!

A lovely relaxed little local restaurant. The food was the best I’ve eaten anywhere in a while. Even something that sounds as simple as a vegetarian salad was 5 star. Can’t wait to go again.

Top quality Peruvian Japanese cuisine. The various sushi roles including the dragon & volcano were delicious, the special fatty tuna was sublime and very well priced. So many other dishes were just delicious, Denis and his business partner chef deserve huge accolades and support. Will definitely return.

I have eaten here a couple of times now, and am extremely lucky to have this amazing restaurant on my doorstep. The sushi is as good as any I have had, anywhere in the world. Service is friendly and the cocktails and desserts also look amazing - I shall be back to try them.
