Baba Souks in Hackney

I looove this place. Always friendly, great tunes and the dinner menu is actually so bangin’. I had tahini date & pistachio flatbread, curry lentil dahl and the agave rainbow carrots. Yes yes yes

Unbelievable food. The sesame miso aubergine and broccoli with turmeric tahini were my favourites! Washed down by one of the best Chilli Margs I have ever tasted. The staff are super friendly and the place has a cosy fun vibe. Can’t wait to go back.

The service was warm and friendly, the food was delicious - especially the fried okra! And the bloody mary's were divine! The weekend special platter was great value and we left absolutely stuffed but with enough room for a tahini brownie on the way out. Highly recommended and dog friendly! We will be back x

This restaurant is amazing. It’s not Turkish or Arabic like trip advisor seems to think. Also some of these reviews refer to a previous restaurant. Anyway, everything about this place is so good, the food is phenomenal and mostly vegan but you wouldn’t know. So cute and atmospheric.

Comencé a visitar este café local recientemente y creo que las opciones que se ofrecen son una gran adición a los alrededores. En cuanto a la ubicación, se puede decir que algunas empresas en el mercado de Broadway confían en el privilegio que permite esta ubicación, ya que sirven menús aburridos y un servicio mediocre, por decir lo menos. Sin embargo, Baba Souks es una excepción bienvenida. Con una selección asequible acompañada de un enfoque respetuoso con el medio ambiente y un gran servicio, lo recomendaría a cualquiera que pase por allí. Me atendieron dos mujeres que fueron muy antipáticas y poco complacientes en cuanto a tomar mi pedido y me miraron con resentimiento cuando pedí cubiertos. Pedí mezze pero solo me dieron moutabal / babaganoush y un pan plano, que no creo que constituya 'mezze'. Esta no fue una experiencia divertida y no volvería a ir ni recomendaría a otros.

This is in the heart of Burgh market and its not only a great cafe/bar/restaurant but its environmentally sound! The staff were lovely and the coffee was really good but aside that more places should take their lead and make a change all for us, the planet and for our children! Great place, highly recommended!

We've been to Baba Souks twice already since the beginning of the summer and both times have been amazing. The food it's really nice, the price is really good as well and the staff is really friendly. I highly recommend it

Wonderful restaurant, the food was exceptionally good and the staff really friendly. Mouna, the head chef, came and made sure we were doing ok and gave us a free dish. Prices are very reasonable, with a variety of vegetarian and vegan option. Definitely recommend.
