Atmosfera Restaurant in Swindon

Visited for dinner on a Friday evening as a group of 5. All of us enjoyed our food. One of our group is coeliac & said the gluten free pizza was the best she’d had. Only thing that slightly let it down was the service was slow at times - it was busy - but waiting over 5 minutes for the vegetables & potatoes to accompany my main course was annoying. All staff very friendly though. Would definitely return.

Lunch for two in the front part of the restaurant. Warm welcome as we'd been there recently and wanted to try the fixed priced lunch menu. Starters; Minestrone soup - excellent veggies all hot and fresh. Whitebait - deep fried crispy with side salad. Mains; Pancake canalloni - good portion, cheese sauce. Fantastic. Spaghetti meatballs - signature tomato sauce and tasty meat balls. Mixed salad - all fresh and tasty. Pudding; Cheesecake of the day - all good. Stonking good value and happy service. Will go again as more to try out at lunch!

What an amazing restaurant. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Menu had plenty to choose from but not overwhelming. Prices are very reasonable. The food is absolutely stunning, couldn't fault any of it. Will definitely be returning on a regular basis

Saw the recent review in the Swindon Advertiser that Marco Pierre White had recently dined and recommended the seafood. Made a booking - all very easy online. Warm welcome when we arrived and showed to a table for a party of 3. We were eating a bit earlier than we would normally but already there were a few tables with families. Sorted out drinks quickly and looked through the menu - which is quite long (possibly something in general I find a bit off putting). I think one of the owners took our order as we mentioned about Marco and he said he'd been in a few times. Opted for 3 starters - a mussels dish, a beef carpaccio and breadcrumbed mozzarella. As we were quite near the kitchen we got hungrier as the various wafts of the food came over to us. The food arrived reasonably quickly - so also a positive as good food can take a bit of time. Mussels was a good portion in a tomato sauce - all hot and tasty. Although could have done with a touch more bread to mop up the delicious sauce. The deep fried mozzarella was Ok, tomato dipping sauce good too. A good plateful of the beef with rocket and parmesan - seasoned well. Mains - Chicken in cheese sauce with veggies - the chicken was well cooked, presented and flavourful, veggies a bit over cooked. Also shared a mixed side salad - which was really good! Seafood linguine was excellent and a highlight we shared around - with the salad as an addition it made for a great eat. Carbonara seemed good but a little over cooked possibly - the sauce seemed to go a bit claggy.. Dessert menu - this has some pretty typical Italian dishes and a few 'pub' type classics on too. They had run out of bananas and couldn't do a split for us! Chocolate brownie with ice cream - fairly typical of this pudding, chocolate sauce was above average we thought. Banoffee pie - this was a good serving piece and the base especially was a bit different to what could be a typical offering. So was enjoyed by all of us. The Italian 'bomb' with chocolate/hazelnut was a good icecream style desert. Overall a very pleasant experience and all the staff were welcoming. The extra touch of a limoncello shot was something that you don't get at 'branded' type places. Will be booking in again soon - the lunch menu seems to be very good value...

Table for 4 Dinner. Superb food ,service and ambience. It was so good we booked a table for lunch the following day. We will return. Many thanks to our hosts.

Beautiful restaurant fairy lights make a cosy atmosphere. Food absolutely delicious and customer service was wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back. For fish and seafood lovers it an absolute treat xxx

Highly recommend! Not kidding, the best Italian restaurant I ever tried. The food is proper Italian food! The staff is so friendly, BIG portions of food. Will go back for sure!

Our 1st visit, but definitely not our last. Our meal was very good, best we have had out in a long time. Lovely decor and staff very friendly. No qualm’s whatsoever in recommending this Italian restaurant.

Found this lovely restaurant on our return to the West Country recently and this was our 2nd visit, love the food and the service at this restaurant and will definitely be returning when we are in the area again. Great home cooked food with friendly service only wish we lived closer. Looking forward to visiting when the new layout is completed and thank you for making us feel so welcome again. 🥰

Coffee was amazing and the staff incredibly helpful. The interior is gorgeous and the food from the table smelled and looked delicious. Will definitely be back for food soon.

Follow this place on instagram and a customer of mine said it’s amazing so we had to try it despite being regulars at another nearby. A warm welcome from all the staff as we arrived and Pino was straight over to us and made us feel welcome by chatting away to us. Garlic mushrooms, breaded mozzarella for starters, lasagna, cannelloni, chips and a cheesy garlic bread we’re all amazing. Great decor and so friendly and close the local pubs.

As always, when I've visited, there is exceptional service and a lovely chat with the owners and great food. This time, I visited with my sister for her first time, and she had the linguine allo scoglio, and I had the maiale al pepe with assorted vegetables and a shared accompanying garlic pizza. Then my sister had a limoncello based ice cream pudding, and I had a rum liquor coffee. Thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic service but even more so the authentic Italian food which was well seasoned. Beautiful restaurant which was very clean and having white table linen makes such a difference to dinning experience. We loved the wine selection. Looking forward to returning.

I had the pleasure of eating here with friends on Saturday evening, and what a lovely evening we had. The atmosphere was perfect and food was absolutely delicious, the menu choice is extremely vast, it's just what's needed in Swindon. The staff were really pleasant and quite entertaining, we will certainly be back.

The atmosphere was nice and authentically Italian. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish was a delight, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The pasta was perfectly cooked, T-Bone steak were superb and the desserts were the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. I was particularly impressed with the wine selection, which perfectly complemented the menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience! Felix and the team made our evening even more special. Highly recommend!!!

Disgusting. We ordered from Atmosfera on JUST EAT trilogia Di mare and Lobster Ravioli. Both looked like the boxes had been shaken violently, I phoned the restaurant, the person said my issue was with JUST EAT delivery due to them possibly driving too fast!?! It had nothing to do with Atmosfera, however, on closer inspection all of the prawns with their shell on had their poo lines intact none were removed and in the lobster ravioli there was a Prawn head not attached to a body and no contents so basically the brain had been cooked in with the dish and this was evident from the taste I regrettably had, JUST EAT won't refund due to this, so the restaurant needs too but refuses to do so, £37 basically thrown away on substandard food. Health and safety will be involved.

Food absolutely beautiful, the steak was well presented and the veg was delicious ,must try no complaints from me , staff are great enjoyed the evening

This is by far the best Italian restaurant we have been to ever! You are met at the door by friendly staff and offered free appetizer samples if you wish before you are seated. The Décor is light and airy and all tables are very well spaced apart but not isolated. The food is amazing and the Staff are genuinely attentive and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and a great dining experience.

We have been coming to this restaurant since it started out in Swindon and have never been disappointed until this evening. It used to be a special.night oit but tonight there seemed to be a bunch of amateurs in charge: pleasant and jovial yes, but not very professional !! Service was slow. I received the wrong pizza ( I suspect the waiter had not understood me ! ) and the quality was not as in previous times. I can only hope they were minding the shop while the owners are on holiday and that things revert to previous high standards of service and cuisine.
