Da Vinci Restaurant in Swindon

Beautiful authentic Italian food served with a smile (and a little banter). We found this restaurant by pure luck as we were visiting Swindon outlet centre. It is a short drive from there but well worth it. I'm a bit picky when it comes to lasagne, but this one did not disappoint.. Awesome! Me and my wife had to roll out of there as we were so stuffed. Will definitely go back when in Swindon again.

Absolutely lovely date night dinner yesterday evening. They managed to squeeze us in short notice. We loved the atmosphere and decor, the staff were so friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious. My husband had a pizza which was bigger than the plate and made with fresh chilli (very nice but abit too hot for me), I went with the starter size of the risotto pollo and glad I did as, amazing as it was, it was pretty filling. Don't think I could have manged a full sized one. Plus I knew they had tirimisu on the menu, one of my favourites, so needed to save a space. It didn't disappoint. Looking forward to our next visit.

Went last night, very late and just needed somewhere to eat and the staff were very friendly, even when late and probably wanting to get off home they didnt make us feel in any rush at any point 10/10, super friendly. The Food there is really good too. For what you pay at fast food places, this is cheaper and alot tastier and healthier. Your looking at £15 per person with a drink, very nice. The restaurant itself is cosey, and has really nice italian theming. I dont usually write reviews but this place deserved one 😊

Fabulous authentic Sicilian restaurant. Good service and plenty of atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the flambe crepes.

Lovely meal at Da Vinci. Karen had the Penne alla Siciliana o Norma, Chris had the Special Seafood Linguine and I had the Penne con Salsiccia Broccoli e Porcini. Busy with good atmosphere and great service. Thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely stupendous. The Food, amazing the only thing is that it’s a lot for a portion e.g. the starters’ plates were as big as a main course’s. I would recommend a sirloin as this was a great dish that could lose my hunger. The staff were amazing they created a really good atmosphere for all of their customers. I’d love to come again.

Place was a disgrace, took 60 mins for our food to arrive, our round of drinks 15 mins and a reminder to arrive, compensated with garlic mayo each 🤩, the garlic bread arrived with cheese after we specified for it without cheese, the man with curly hair was Especially rude. Would never go back. Dump

I’m not normally a big fan of Italian restaurants, but I really enjoyed perusing an extensive menu and specials board, and had a delicious meal! The service was friendly and efficient. I was part of a group of 6. Everyone else on my table had an enjoyable meal too!

They made for me gluten free sea food spaghetti, it was delicious! Fully recommended 👌

Food was of a standard quality no real complaints, however, the manager is plain rude!!! I queried the bill simply bcos I ordered a child’s portion of pasta with a chicken piece for two children under the age of 10 and this amounted to £34!!! The manager insisted that it was a justifiable price for a chicken breast which was plain and simple unseasoned plain as it comes chicken, he responded in a loud and offensive and aggressive and defensive manner, I have never ever taken to writing a bad review for a restaurant as I understand how detrimental they are for small businesses, however I will never return or recommend anyone to this place ever again, and I wish I had spent my money elsewhere this evening!!!

Absolutely terrible customer service!!!! I ordered a takeaway and found that one of the vegetarian dishes had meat in it. When I complained, I was basically told I was lying and should use a different restaurant in the future, which I will do and so will all of my friends.

Food was spot on. It was as good if not better than my last visit with the family.

First time here, the food was simply so good! We ordered some pasta, pizza and other side dishes and they were all delicious. I particularly liked the Penne da Vinci and the mushroom starter that I forgot the name of. But overall very authentic and service was also nice.

Had our works Xmas party here there was 15 of us all with different dishes and the service was excellent all the food came out to us hot and very tasty so congratulations to the chef also a massive thank you to the ladys that served us you were all very professional in your jobs 😋

Popped into Da Vinci for a works team lunch. Service was excellent and all the food was freshly cooked, piping hot and delicious. It was quiet in there but that was fine for a Wednesday lunchtime. Meant we received full attention. Lovely place, would highly recommend.

Always great service and food. We meet there every few weeks for lunch and it never lets you down, great steaks and good variety of pasta etc. Superb wines too.

My girlfriend and i visited last Sunday evening and even though it was raining outside, this did not dampen our spirits after eating here. The food was impeccable, the service was excellent and the environment was super cool and relaxing. My gf had the lasagne with some rocket salad and i had the prawn taglietele and both of us ordered starters. A 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back.

Has early dinner here. quality of food is fine. I especially like the plain garlic bread (pizza base). Food were served quickly as I requested to leave early for catching bus. Staff are friendly. But we picked the wrong table at window. Due to sun light, it was very hot and I sweated a lot.

The welcome was friendly and warm, and the service was excellent. Now, the important bit, the food! The menu was diverse and lots to choose from. I had the rib-eye steak and was honestly the best steak I've ever had. I asked for medium rare and that's exactly how it came. I can't remember the last time I had a steak packed with so much flavour and cooked so perfectly! (Usually when you ask for medium rare, it's overdone past that stage) The flavour in the vegetables that came with it were cooked by a magician, so much flavour in those too! My partner had the lasagna and said the same, that it was the tastiest one he'd ever had. Service was quick and friendly, and even had the red white and green napkins decked out on the tables. It's a shame we don't actually live in Swindon as we'd be there every week! Superb all round

We just picked am Italian restaurant and by chance we chose Da Vinci.We ordered 5 different kinds of pasta and a pizza.They were absolutely delicious, flawless. This restaurant is a hidden gem!Compliments to the chef!

Good consistency , and amazing food .

Hands down this is the best authentic Italian food I ever had in my life. Portions are huge, food is clearly prepared with passion, skills and quality. We keep coming back and we will. This is the kind of food you want to pay extra money for and compliment the chef. I’ve been there many times and it’s just the best, I can’t get over this amazing place. 10/10 all other Swindon “Italian” restaurants can disappear for me, I will always come back to Da Vinci. The owners are the sweetest guys as well! 🥹❤️ PLEASE never close down!!

Great atmosphere. Came here for a date and we were taken care of straight away. Drinks ordered and menu was diverse and well described. We ordered the king prawn starter and breaded garlic mushrooms. Very tasty and good portion size. Main was fillet Rossini and a gnocchi and ragu style dish with Italian sausage. Both meals were substantial, cooked to perfection and service was impeccable. Cocktails followed which was a Woo Woo and even though it wasn’t on the menu, a rum old fashioned. Great drinks and then a couple of shots on the house. Glad we got there early as it filled up quite fast. Would very much eat here again. Brilliant

Great restaurant offering exceptional food and wine at a fair price. The starters were good and quite large; in fact we shared one between us. The main course was one of the best Italian meals that we have tasted. Then we had a very tasty dessert consisting of crepes in an orangey sauce which was created theatrically at the table. The staff were very friendly and contributed greatly to the overall experience. We were only in Swindon for three days but we enjoyed it so much that we had to go back. If you are in Swindon, this restaurant shouldn't be missed.

Newby to the Da Vinci restaurant, I did not know what to expect. Warm welcome, good atmosphere and large portions. My eyes were bigger than my belly! Very well priced and a good place to eat just off the town centre!

We took a class of students from Churchward School to the restaurant as part of a project that they are completing for a course. The staff opened up the restaurant especially for us. We ordered a range of desserts including fudge cake, panna cotta, creme brulee, tiramisu and lemon crepes. The desserts were delicious and the presentation was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and welcomed us with a big smile, overall the service was great! We were invited to see how the pizzas are freshly made which was a great experience for the students. We had a lovely experience and the students all agreed that they would recommend the restaurant to family and friends.

Brilliant place to eat. My partner and I along with my 4-year-old daughter had an amazing meal on Sunday evening. The service is amazing so is the food. Highly recommended.

Authentic Italian dining experience in the middle of Swindon. Everything, from focaccia to start with, to aldente pasta and risotto, to a proper ristretto to finish the meal were perfect.

I've never been here for dinner, but I stop by for the Express Lunch whenever I have the time. Prompt service and the best lasagne in town

Tried this restaurant once, while visiting Swindon. The food was really good, and the menu has plenty of options. The staff was very friendly, from ordering to paying. The price is fair, nothing to complain about it. If you are near by, it is worth a visit.

Amazing restaurant. Authentic Italian with great staff. Starters were huge and tasty with fresh food (Calamari & Bruschetta). The mains were even tastier (Chicken in wine and mushroom & Pizza). Generous portions with separate veg too. Highly recommended.

Great food and lovely service! We had been there to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday last Sunday, around 25 of us with kids ended up causing a bit of chaos. However, the staff was very kind, patient and considerate. And to top it off, the food was amazing! I ordered Entrecotte Diane which was perfectly cooked as per order. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in the town.

Went for lunch mid week and had a great meal. It is justifiably busy and they do an express lunch. The pizza was enormous and the salmon tagliatelle excellent. Staff friendly and professional.

From the moment we walked in the service was fabulous! It was so refreshing to be greeted by so many friendly faces! Everyone is so accommodating! Especially Tamar, who even went to the efforts to separating the olives so we could mainly have green ones! The food was also 10/10! So pleased we came tonight. Really great evening here!
