We really enjoyed mid-week dinner of vegetarian and meat food. Nice atmosphere, generous portions, £80 for a starter, 3 mains, salad and a bottle of wine. Will come back.

Little old fashioned but with excellent food reasonable prices

A salt of the earth local, bustling absolutely pacjed do uou certainly need to book . We 3 friends went for the Mezze where starters were heartyu to say the least! the lamb shank was delicious and full off the bone tender & grilled chicken mains were succulent and full of flavour. My dining companion didn't think the calamari was crunchy enough but I thought it tasted fresh and loved the light batter so a question of personal preference I think. Unbelievable value we left with a doggy bag that was enough for our lunch the next day!

Was planning to visit this restaurant with friends and some of them are Muslim so contacted the restaurant to ask some questions about which dishes were halal and whether these dishes were prepared separately to other dishes containing pork etc as per religious requirements and the staff were very unhelpful indeed. One cook even said rudely and impatiently 'why are you asking so many questions?' was so taken aback by their poor attitude, that I cancelled my booking. If they can't answer reasonable questions over the phone due to religious requirements, it didn't instill me with much hope that their attitude would be any different if I chose to dine with them face to face. Was so disappointed as they came highly recommended! Has put me right off! Provided unlike me you don't have any questions to ask, your experience may be better than mine.

This place came recommended by a friend who had dined here and told me that the food was halal. However, when I called to confirm this, I was told that only 2 meat dishes were halal, the chicken kebab and lamb shank. When I called to ask some questions, staff were rude and unhelpful and in one instance we were rudely asked 'why are you asking so many questions?! If my religious requirements cannot be respectfully responded to over the phone, then why would I give this restaurantl my custom! So very disappointed! Their food may be good according to their reviews, but their attitude stinks!

We had a great dinner tonight, freshly made, tasty and generous portions. Catered for meat eaters, fish and vegetarians. A really relaxing atmosphere, lovely service and didn’t feel at all rushed. Didn’t take any photos!

We went to this restaurant for the second time, and it was an amazing experience! The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is top-notch. It's a wonderful place to hang out with family or friends – the staff is so friendly and attentive. It feels just like visiting your own family. I highly recommend this place!

I loved the "Mezze for 2". This is tasty and really good, with many not-so-small dishes, 3 meats to share, 2 additional sides and a dessert. We actually needed a doggy bag and finished everything over 3 meals. And every time the same pleasure! The staff is really cool, i really enjoyed my conversations with all of them! The area is also really nice, and is worth taking some time to walk around. Put simply, you should have a good time and a happy tummy when leaving!

Antonis and his family run this restaurant superbly and I first came here when it first opened over 30 years ago and the food was excellent then and throughout the 1990s and nothing has changed where quality is concerned ,and, I can highly recommend the extensive cuisine while I enjoyed the Kleftiko and my wife enjoyed the Mixed Kebab as our main course having started with Dolmades,while the Meze, I am sure will be just as good as it was all those years ago.Go on treat yourselves to a sumptuous cuisine there.

The food has not authentic taste of Greek food, the service was very poor, kept waving at the waitress for good 15 minutes, no attention taken, last time there

Great food and ambience as always! I had the mixed kebab which was delicious. My wife had the moussaka and her comment at the end was 'I could have licked the bowl'I think that says it all!

Celebrated my birthday there, the restaurant was very accommodating and prepared fantastic party for 26 people. We all had mezze , the food was amazing, very fresh and lots of it. The service was efficient and polite and everything went so smoothly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice too. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we had wonderful evening. After not having been here since before Covid we have eaten here twice in the last few weeks with family members. We booked on Saturday and they were fairly busy. We shared starters, had a main course each, shared desserts and had a bottle of Retsina and coffee. The food was delicious, homemade and very high quality. We shared meatballs, halloumi and gigantes to start and I had slow cooked lamb with green beans for my main. My wife had a lemon chicken dish for main and my nephew another lamb dish. The main meal portions are substantial and all dishes seem to be served with rice as well as roast potatoes. I shared a dessert served warm of custard in filo pastry which was fabulous plus an unsweetened Greek coffee. Service was efficient and friendly and the meal came to about £35 per head including some service. The only downside in coming here is that when busy it is very noisy as all the décor is comprised of hard surfaces.

I almost don’t want to review this place in case it gets so busy that we can’t get a reservation. Proper hearty Greek food cooked with love and served with a smile. Great ambiance and just a lovely place to wind down after a busy week. The prices are very reasonable as well - what’s not to love!

LOVE this local restaurant. We went last night without booking and it was great to see it so busy. We all had the Mezze and it was first class and so plentiful. Even the pitta bread is exceptional. Loved the prawns and calamari, the kleftiko fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. The chicken kebab was tender and moist and a yummy Greek salad to compliment the mains. The Gigantes are delicious and I love the warm dolmades in tomato sauce. Few carafes of house white and we left very happy. Great service, friendly and welcoming - can't wait to return.

A first visit with very elderly parents. Staff were extremely patient and understanding. Food was excellent, price very reasonable, the quiet Monday evening atmosphere ideal, although it's jumping over the weekend. Parking right outside. Can't recommend enough, thanks.

Authentic Greek food with a great atmosphere

Actually, we go to Atlantis to eat quite often. I love it. The food is incredible and very reasonably priced. Again, a family run restaurant. Very popular, so you have to book. I love their home made taramasalata, hummous, and moussaka! I often go for my birthday in October but generally we eat there at least 4 times a year.

Great atmosphere with friendly staff. I had the dolmades starter and lemon chicken main, which were delicious. Good size portions. Good prices, too. Would recommend a visit.

Celebrated my husbands birthday with the family. The restaurant was very accommodating with all the last-minute changes in numbers. The food is authentic, and the staff are polite and hospitable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.

Excellent Greek restaurant with a combination of both Meze and starter/main course options. Great for groups or events like birthdays, wouldn't recommend for a quiet romantic evening or a first date kinda deal.

This lovely restaurant is a cozy and family friendly environment situated on a lovely little lane called pitshanger. Greek food has always been something that has intrigued me and I have been delighted every time I have come here. I’m slowly working my way through the menu ahaha. That’s how much I enjoy it. Also the Baklava is to die for. Great customer service and the waitresses tended to my needs and checked in a timely manner. Very impressive team and I will be visiting again very soon

Oh my goodness what incredible tasty food . So so good . I go to Greece every year but this has to be the best food I have tasted . Service brilliant . Cannot wait to go back

Waitress staff were quite welcoming and found us a table in this little restaurant. Menu choices were OK if you like meat and fish, but quite limited if an vegetarian. Prices were acceptable. Meals took quite a long time to arrive, with fish being blamed for the delay (ironic as fish takes less time to cook than meat, usually). Two fish meals were very bony, and we were only told the fish could have been deboned after the meal was eaten. Other two meals were acceptable.

We went to Atlantis Restaurant again and had a wonderful meal. We have been coming here since it was first opened many years ago. The food is consistently of a very high standard and the portions are generous. It has a welcoming atmosphere and is a family owned restaurant and we always feel at home here. I would strongly recommend Atlantis.

Visited Atlantis a few times when I have been down from Manchester. Never fails to impress, food is fresh and the service is delightful. Fully recommend to anyone who is partial to some Greek food!

This family run restaurant is a lovely place to visit if you are looking for authentic Greek food in a relaxed atmosphere. It can be a little bit noisy inside but this is a small price to pay for everything else it offers. We visited on a Saturday evening and were welcomed by one of the owners with a smile and jovial manner. During the evening all tables were occupied, some more than once, and without exception everyone around us appeared to be enjoying their food. Prices are also very reasonable and this along with the quality of the food they put on the tables is why it is packed. If you fancy a Greek meal then this restaurant is certainly worth a try.

So I only really ever eat Greek food when I go to Greece and my cousins were born there so had many summers over there. So I am dubios of eating in the uk until I came here. I was late for my table but I did ring to let them know and they were friendly and accommodating and we were greeted by Maria and her beautiful smile 💕💕 it was like being at your grandmothers for dinner the ambience felt loving and homely and the food was delicious home cooked fresh and just yummy. The price was also incredible and the portions are huge I even took some home !!! I will definitely be going again

I visited Atlantis Greek Resturant - Pitshanger Lane, yesterday for the very first time. This place is such a Find !!! Fresh, simple, beautiful combinations and years of handed down traditional Grek receipes from generation to generation. The food and service was simply outstanding. And they added that very special ingredient of L.O.V.E. This was such a wounderful experience. I was transported to a beautiful Greek Island for one evening with the very best hospitality Greece can offer, in our Pitshanger village. This is my new Find !! This is my new favorite place to eat. I'll be back !!!!! xxx

Good honest Greek food. Main downside is that you leave the restaurant with a slight greasy smell in your hair and clothes.

Lovely Greek restaurant, that is well priced. There are a lot of lamb dishes, so if you are not a fan of lamb, you will be short of choices. If you like lamb then you will be in heaven. Food is very healthy. The man that works there (I would also presume the owner) is very pleasant do deal with. Chairs are not the most comfortable if I'm honest
