I have had a few bad experiences with staff not listening properly but the girl who served me earlier was the worst. I asked for pie and chips and a scallop Savaloy and chips and a small curry sauce. She then got a pie out and wrapped it then proceeded to get the savaloy and scallop and started to wrap them together without the chips and I said why are you doing that to which she replied in ver asked for them to be wrapped with the chips. Then she bagged everything and completely forgot the 2nd bag of chips. When we got home we found she had completely forgotten the scallop and the pie and Savaloy were cold. I will never be going back again.

4th July awful food we live 300yards away it was cold chips awful eyes in the potatoes fish had black bits in had to give it to dogs staff was good though my wife's chicken was scawney

Donna meat near on cold. Chips not great. Staff was wiping there snotty nose on there sleeve whist preparing the food too. Usually not this bad to be fare but this time was very poor

Few weeks ago good was great fresh hot really enjoyed. Went today food was horrid chips dry over cooked. . Fish was dry hard could not eat it have took pics incase they want to see. Curry sauce was stone cold

The most disgusting food I’ve ever had from here compounded by the poor customer service the only option given was to return with the food !!! I offered to send photos not interested. Regular customer lost not due to the food but due to your very poor response

Honestly cannot fault this place one bit Food is top notch, service is great and the ladies and gents are great and welcoming I'm a regular and food is mostly always fresh and hot. Went here for the first time and the women was rolling here eyes when we asked for something if she put more time in her service then looking like coco the clown she be on winner food was horrible chips like razor blades thanks but no thanks

I go every Saturday, mini fish and chips, you can get free curry sauce or mushy peas or gravy. Excellent quality food and friendly and helpful staff, recommend a visit.

After today, I will no longer go to this chippy. I noticed the food is going downhill fast. Ordered a large fish and chips, the lady gave me a small. Donner meat was dry and battered mushroom was cremated! They've definitely lost me as a customer and I wouldn't recommend anyone wasted their money, unless you enjoy the rubbish these lot serve.

Food from the Atlantis is 1st class, tasty, freshly cooked and well presented. The place is spotlessly clean, light and spacious. The staff are smart , helpful and are well dressed in smart, corporate uniforms. The chips are cooked to perfection, they are by far the best chips I have ever tasted.

The food sizes for the money have drastically got smaller I orderd a regular kebab to recive 5 pieces of chicken meat and 3 pieces of Donna meat I expect more for my money defo be using colas by farm food just around the corner

Chips ok - curry sauce with chunks of powder and worse of all the soggy fish batter - nor crunchy and light but soggy and dence the worst ever it’s quite an expensive lovely looking chip shop sadly let down by the poor food Went again today 20/9 still no better scallop with soggy batter 75p half the price across the road and the batter crunchy at Kolas

Food was vile absolutely disgusting tasted like it was all warmed up from lunch time chips were like cardboard and saveloy was dripping water out the middle last time going there. As the saying goes stick to what you know I will be in future.

After returning from the pub we were both starving so I walked to Atlantis as I am the hunter, gatherer. I waited about 7 minutes for the cod to be freshly cooked and boy was it worth it. The food is delicious and I will definitely be returning. The staff were great and very accommodating.

Chips wernt very nice today. They were dry and must of been standing a while. We prefer freshly cooked chips. We have fish n chips from there every week.,and usually very nice, but could improve on chips.

Awful food - they need to fix up. Chicken Donner was burn to charcoal. This is very unhealthy. The chips were a soggy tasteless mess. We threw most in the bin. Did not enjoy any of it and unfortunately we could not go back as we were taking out and it was not feasible to go back to complain. Sorry I could not take food photos to show you all but please don't let them try to pass off their charcoal as food.

My husband just brought 3 chicken donor kebabs from this chip shop , The meat was completely burnt to a cinders! I can honestly say it was one of the worst meals we have had from a chip shop ! Very very disappointed and also very hungry 🤤

Over the past few weeks I've been overcharged twice. Partly my fault for not spotting it until too late, however, never had it ANYWHERE else! Need receipt and visa payment option...

Friendly staff and the fish is amazing

Used to be decent, just had an expensive pile of dried up junk. Over 6 quid for mini fish and chips and the fish must have been sat there all day, total rubbish. would give zero stars if possible.

Passed by many times, thought we'd stop in and give it a try. Excellent kebab meat and chips, very high quality. Fish and chips was good but the large was a little on the small side, the cod was also a little overdone. Curry sauce was standard but the mushy peas were amazing. A little on the pricey side, £25 for 2 large fish and chips and a small donner and chips with curry sauce and mushy peas, however was nice enough for a return visit if we're ever passing by again.

Waited in the queue for a good 10 minutes, placed my order for them to say cash only. No signs anywhere to say this. Cash machine is available but didn't have my card on me. Went home ordered from somewhere else and ended up being £5 cheaper anyway.

For the price paid you would expect something decent. Batch mixing going on with the potatoes and the fish was overcooked. This kind of explains why the shops so quiet.

I am unsure how my wrap can be described as a ‘wrap’, was more like meat and salad thrown on top of a wrap. Also had a donner kebab and asked for salad on the side, no salad was given. Overall very expensive for poor quality

I only used this chip shop because my usual one was about to close and had very little available, so I had heard of the Atlantis Chip Bar so I thought I would give it a try. I am so pleased that I did. The portions, the quality of the food and the great service were all exceptional, so much so that this is now my new favourite fish bar.

Ordered fish & chips & curry sauce x 2 tonight and I have to say it was the worst I've ever had from there. The chips were really dry, curry sauce that I had was runny and the fish that the wife had was slimey ,grey in colour in parts and looked under cooked. She was unable to eat it. Normally we don't have an issue from there but really disappointed having spent £14.40 on food.

Foods pretty good, but £1.40 for a singular pickled egg!?!? You're having a giraffe lads!

Just had a large cod and chips. Cod was over cooked and rubbery and batter full of grease! Chips were like they was fried off from last night. All dry and no flavour at all.. mushy peas over cooked. Went straight in the bin after a few bites. Completely inedible if I had time to return it I would have!! Shame as the food is usually nice!

Absolutely disgusting and waste of money! Took ages to arrive over a hour and when it did was the wrong order, I have genuinely never seen such a vile box of food filled woth grease hard chips and kebab meat inwoukdnt even give my dog how you are still aloud to serve this food is beyond me!

usually really great quality, just had fish and chips, fish was excellent as usual but the chips ruined the meal they was limp and i felt they was boiled rather than fried, poor show atlantis.

Finest chips in the West Midlands, generous portions, my sister and I use this chippy three or four times weekly ( naughty I know ) never had a bad experience to date, staff are brilliant. Certainly the top on mine and my sister's league ( and that's the premier league). Judie and Lin.

Just had a deliverey,£25 FOR MIXED MEAT AND CHIPS,TINED ROE AND CHIPS WITH CURRY SAUCE AND PLAICE AND CHIPS BUT NEVER GOT THE CHIPS JUST A PIECE OF FISH THAT COST £8.50,I CAN ONLY EXPLAIN THAT THE FISH WAS UNDERCOOKED AND WATERY,1ST TIME IVE TRYED THIS CHIPPY BUT CAN SAY NEVER AGAIN,Rancid.

I normally I enjoy the food from this place but with the current situation of covid19 going round; you'd think they'd put certain precautions in place ie gloves and mask! But there is nothing like that? Anyways it's best going to the chippy over the weekend as food tastes fresher.

Great fish and chip shop with really decent portion sizes. The chips are great and the curry sauce is usually nice and thick (none of that watery nonsense). Staff are really friendly and always do their best to serve you as quickly as possible.

I never normally have a problem with this food, it’s always been amazing. But today I went to eat my meal once I’d took it home and I pulled a massive brown hair out of my battered fish! I had to throw it away. Im really disappointed that I won’t be coming here again because I usually love the food.

I used to go with My Boyfriend on a Saturday We stopped because We ask for a Veggie burger and the girls behind the till always hate when We ask for it as it takes a little longer to do. May I mention that if it's on the menu then You have to serve it with politeness or maybe find a job away from food and/or people. The last time We asked for one they deliberately put too much sauce and salad on it to make it difficult to eat. We now go to the Sea Queen as their food and service is excellent. Well done girls You lost Your boss 2 customers.

Lovely chips and great portions

I tried to give no stars but then it wouldn't let me leave a review !! Absolutely disgraceful...I ordered a lamb kebab for my daughter and when it was unwrapped there was half a pitta bread one slither of lamb and a small amount of lettuce !! Now I know why it was wrapped already when put in the bag !! Will not be recommending and will make sure people are aware as I have photos to prove ....there was no sauce on the meat and chips despite requesting it and if what they served me was a portion of fish and chipstheir prices are extortionate Then too busy to take the call )!! Awful
