ASDA Cafe in Angus

Great place take grandkids in morning for breakfast before club starts only £1 says 9 opening but manager there preparing stuff earlier so always happy to help and saves us well before 9 keep up great work grandkids love it 😀

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Cafe very clean! Went In to get my little girl something to eat and was pleasantly surprised to learn that the kids meals were £1. Was nice to have a coffee and get a nice little meal for my daughter without it breaking the bank!

Popped into Asda Cafe in Forfar this morning. Although the cafe was still closed until 9am Morag the manager was kind enough to provide me with a breakfast if freshly cooked items. Very helpful, much appreciated. Thank you

Had a really lovely lunch today. And such a Bargain for the kids meals. Also a lovely lady called morag who served us. Very chatty and friendly.

Pleasantly surprised at the improved service, food lovely, hot and tasty, staff friendly and the table cleaning service is a nice gesture, been for breakfast and lunch this week and happy to continue to go there now.

Arrived at 345pm to be told the supervisor had advised staff to switch everything off and went home. Cafe still open with staff serving but never anything on. No hot food and no sandwiches. This happens here all the time. Always close early but states open til 6pm online and 5pm in the cafe itself. Poor service and nobody seems to care. Frustrating when you offer meals for £1 for kids but you never have anything available. Staff not bothered, told to call their head office. Shame as nice wee cafe but poor management let's it down.

Big mugs, unmetered condiments, good food, good price. Wish it opened a bit earlier and the Misses complained about the Auto-tune pop songs playing. Our favourite place for breakfast. Edit: 2 months later and they’ve changed the opening time to 9am loosing a star from me.

Very poor service, arrived with 4 friends today at 15:30, Cafe open until 17:00. Not many people in the Cafe, one couple in front of us in the queue. Just two staff working in the Cafe. The girl serving behind the till was abrupt and almost rude to the couple in front. The other person working was avoiding contact with any customers and seemed more interested in what time it was and making a drink for herself. At the serving area it was not clear what food was available and we had to go back to the entrance of the Cafe to find out what mains meals where available. On ordering the food we was informed that no pies or other mains where available but they could do fish fingers or chicken nuggets with chips only. We left without ordering or eating. Very disappointing for an Asda Cafe.
