I’ve been to Dollar Park about a hundred times and never went into the Cafe, but after hearing about their cakes and tray bakes, it was added to the list to check out. And I’m glad I did, cause this place is a little gem! Great selection of all the usual suspects, from sandwiches to toasties, soup, hot rolls, full cooked breakfasts, pancakes, hot drinks and cakes. There’s also a specials board that changes regularly. For todays visit we tried some hot rolls (Bacon & Lorne Sausage) plus the Haggis, Cheese and Chilli Jam Toastie. All of which were top-class! Great quality ingredients and cooked perfectly! Finished it off by trying some of their home baking and WOW, great selection and all done to a very high standard. We went with the Bakewell Slice, Apple Turnover Cake, and a tub of Chocolate Ice-Cream. Would return for these alone, they were that good! VERY reasonably priced, too! If you haven’t checked this place out, then definitely give it a look. There’s also some tables outside if the weather is good enough, and the surrounding gardens opposite the Cafe are great for a short walk.

I've visited this cafe a number of times, and always recommend it to others. The food and drinks are of a high quality, and the cakes are amazing. The cafe has a loyalty card scheme where you collect a stamp for purchasing a drink. You can then either receive a free drink, or pay it forward to donate to someone in need. Very caring!

I recently went to Arnotdale house with some family for lunch. The atmosphere and environment is different from anywhere else locally. Dollar Park is beautiful surroundings, even in winter and the warm, welcome from staff brightened what was a chilly day. Straight away you can tell this place is a favorite with locals. The manager appeared to know most customers by name and engaged in conversation, which doesn't happen as much anymore. Our waitress (we think Helen?) had an infectious smile and it felt like a home from home. The soup was lovely as where the mammoth scones!! We will most definitely be back!!

Treated my friend to an afternoon tea for her Birthday. Booking online simple process have to give 24 hour notice and advise of any dietary requirements. Afternoon tea was lovely finger sandwiches must have been made with big hands as sandwiches were massive and filling plentiful and tasty. Homemade sausage rolls, scones, cakes etc. Well worth the money. My friend and I had a lovely time service was lovely too. The mini scones were slightly undercooked and a bit chewy but not an issue as it proved they were homemade!!!. There are also toilets at the cafe which were clean and fresh Will certainly be booking a return visit in the future.

Fantastic cafe right in town centre opposite ASDA . Delicious pasta and pizza . Very authentic Italian style. Been twice. Had Penne Arrabiata and Il Capo. Pasta with spicy Italian sausage. Both excellent. Very welcoming host who looks after his customers . Nothings any trouble for him. The deserts were very tasty as well. Had velvet cheesecake. Stunning. If you’re in town looking for a bite to eat I would highly recommend cafe coliseum. No drink licence but you can bring your own bottle.
