Been to a few events and lunch here. The grounds are outstanding. The food at formal dinners is always good quality, as is lunch. Go if you get the opportunity.

If new to the area you could easily pass this iconic building and venue by. We attended a formal charity presentation and the service and attention to detail was outstanding. Our event was in the Long Room, which is worth viewing and the small museum on the first floor, is also fascinating and educational. If you find there is a cricket match taking place on the 'parade ground' in front of the house then you will have an added bonus. A lovely place where to attend any function and well worth a detour, if your have the time, to visit and enjoy history

I will not comment on the conference facilities, but the formal dinner was superb with all the pomp and ceremony of a guard of Honour. A truly memorable event!

We had a splendid dinner in the setting of Armoury House, the Headquarters of the Honourable Artillery Company, set in the heart of the City of London, barely 100 yards from Old Street Underground Station. The approach is up the stairs where there are plenty of portraits to see, a Medal Room and a cash-bar. The cold celerery soup with portions of duck was delicious!
