Without question utterly excellent. Great range of beers and a lovely atmosphere. On a day trip from Gloucestershire to also visit other places but this is the highlight!

Very friendly and also furry friend friendly, 2 lots of dog bowls and snacks plus they offer human snacks and home made cobs/rolls, Good selection of real ales as you'd expect, A nice little outside but under cover seating area too,

My first visit and easily the best beer of a very very quiet Sunday afternoon in Belper (4 pubs and less than 20 people in total!). Proper cheese and onion cob to go with. Recommended. Handy for bus back to our Derby hotel (stop outside hotel front door!).

I cannot praise Real Ale Bars enough, decent pints are pulled, down to earth atmosphere and customers that talk to each other, what more do you want.

Great visit while doing the Belper Ale Trail, Staff were fantastic and knowledgeable about the beer Range of beers could not be faulted Freshly made bar snacks of vegetable samosas, onion bhajis and scotch eggs amazing and like the beer reasonably priced. Ambiance and friendliness of regulars also very good. Really good micro pub, would definitely return.

Another great addition to the Real Ale/micro pub scene, lovely atmosphere with people chatting and enjoying a pint or two, in my opinion you cannot beat these type of places.

A perfect destination ! We enjoyed an excellent lunch when we visited Belper today . Everything we could ask for in a cafe . Clean , comfortable , welcoming , dog friendly , lovely staff , plenty of choice on the menu, very good options for vegans , nice toilets . I could go on ! But best of all , the food was delicious . When we visit Belper again , this is definitely where we will be going .

Now we're huge curry fans so we are always dubious about trying new Indian restaurants as we have been disappointed so many times. We have now had two takeaways from Rajput and I have to say, they were both really really good. Lots of depth of flavour you want from a curry. We're planning on taking family for a meal on Saturday so I hope it is of the same standard that we've enjoyed so far.

Visited this pub whilst staying at a local holiday park. The menu is very limited and no prices displayed for the food. (Chips, burger, sausage and chips chicken nuggets, chip butty or toastie) We waited about 45 minutes for the food and when it arrived it was served on a cold plate and was very disappointing was also expensive for what we ordered (we should have asked prices before ) Will not be returning unfortunately.

Been many times before lockdown and so so glad to see it open again. It’s the best place for a home cooked breakfast, it’s pristine, service is fantastic. They also do homemade cakes, tried the cornflake tart just lovely. I can’t fault it 👌
