Fantastic food fantastic customer service!!!

Whenever I go Manchester I always go Raydan restaurant with my family and I thought to change once in a while and try the Ariyadh Arabic Restaurant, absolutely bad experience, the curly haired server was rude I wanted to order for my kids, so I asked about kids meal options and he replied this is not McDonald's or KFC, and he started lecturing me about what my kids can eat, if my family weren't with me I would've spoke to his boss about the importance of customer service. Wouldn't recommend. Would've put less than one star, but clearly not possible.

Ariyadh is a great place for authentic middle-eastern food. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was nice. Prices are reasonable compared to the high food quality. I recommend it !

If you are looking for generous portions and authentic food with reasonable prices this place is perfect. We were recommended this place by some friends and it was our fiest time here. We chose to sit on the floor, although there is tables available. There is no descriptions on the menu so you have to go off the pictures. Our server Abdul Rehman was friendly and great at explaining what some of the dishes were to us. We arrived before the dinner rush and the chef personally came and explained the differences in the 3 types of rice dishes. We were given complimentary lamb soup, which was piping hot and delicious. By the time we left the place was packed out and very busy but they still took the time to make fresh kunafa for us. I'm not normally the biggest fan of this desert in honesty, but this was the best one I've tried so far, crispy, buttery and not too sweet. The arabic bread was freshly baked and so moreish, perfect with the tabbouleh and hummus. Lamb Mandi and Chicken Zurbian rice was on point with plenty left to take home.

Very clean and welcoming upstairs space for family. The service is very good and staff very friendly. Affordable price too! Recommend 100%

I’ve tried many Arab rice and lamp dishes in Manchester and the UK. This restaurant hold top one in my options when it come to rice. The best thing that I always recommend to my friends is “Omani Lamb Shuwa” 🏆😋 Update: The food qulity dropped down after the new managment took control. still ok but befor was way better

The restaurant is very, very delicious. Their food is exactly the same as Saudi cooking. The staff are very professional and respectful, and their service is top-notch. If I return to Manchester for the second time, this is the first restaurant I will come to.

I ordered chicken mandi. Unfortunately, the food was cold and the chicken was not of the required quality. Also, the spicy tomato salad that I had eaten had a rotten taste as if it had been there for a long time.

Good food, comfortable and hidden place, and good service Updated in July 2024: The food arrived very quickly. Normally we would have to wait half an hour, but they surprised me and I said it was improving. But I was wrong when I tasted the food. It tasted like bits of food. The soup was cold and even the rice from the main order was cold. The rice was old and dry and the meat was less than what we are accustomed to in this restaurant. Unfortunately, I used to love this place and come often, but they ruined it the last time and I will not return again

Was ok, the rice portions were big, but more meat would be better - this was also a bit chewy. The private booths gives it a nice authentic feel sitting down, and the guys were very warm and friendly.

Very local traditional place. Sat on the floor. With our own little private section. Went with few friends. The guy serving us was great. He bakes the best desserts. I took a few tiramasus away! Food was good. I like a bit more spice and this was def not that! It's Arab so bear that in mind if you if you like spicy food!

Authentic food. Big portions and authentic experience too. The guys running the show gave free food and drinks too which was nice of them. We ate on the floor on some comfy carpets too.

I have ordered two chicken madhbi but i only received one. And it was oily and dry.

It was the last night before departing back home and I missed the lamb rice. I ordered one lamb mandi and it is enough for 2 persons. You need to try it it is very nice and the price is very suitable

Yesterday I Bought (Take Out) chicken Mandi, Lamb zurbain and humus with 2 breads. Bread was cold, there was no olive oil on humus. Chicken mandi rice was dry, partially cooked with burnt raisins n toppings. Lamb Zurbain was pathetic, was cooked a day before, which was re cooked even the potatoes were burnt all the toppings burnt (black). I came around saturday 5pm to take out. If u dint had the food or wasn't ready you should inform the customer DONT GIVE THIS ROTTEN FOOD OR RE COOKED FOOD.

I have lived in the area for some time and I always would pass by this place and wonder. It may not look like anything special but inside it's such a authentic middle eastern spot. Everyone is so friendly here and they are very generous, the food is so tasty simple but packed with flavour. The desserts were top notch and the prices are crazy cheap. Once a unknown wonder now my go to spot!

Be honest....my experience at ariyadh wasn't good.....i ordered lamb mandhi....this is for the first time im having mandhi just with bones.....also very bad service from the staff.....i felt like he was thinking that customer are coming there for free food.....very bad service......and the atmosphere is also pathetic.....

first time ive ordered here , salad was brown and bread was hard. the lamb and rice was OK, curry was like water not much substance for 8£

I have to be honest about our experience at Ariyadh Arabic restaurant – it wasn't great. We had a family dinner planned, but there were no washroom facilities, and we couldn't even wash our hands properly. We booked for 9 and arrived at 8:40, but the food didn't arrive until 9:45! There was no salad either, and the food lacked flavour. Nobody could eat more than a bite. Even the desserts disappointed – No taste and also we found a bug in one! The service was practically nonexistent; we had to keep going downstairs to get anything. We ended up leaving the meal and going somewhere else, but still had to pay over £250. Not cool for the price. They seriously need to improve. The image below was captured just before we departed. It looks good but None of the food had been touched; it was all left uneaten. We couldn't salvage anything either – everything went to waste.

Small restaurant that has some booths as well. I enjoyed the houmus but the bread that came with it could’ve been a bit warmed/softer. You also get some free bone broth/soup I ordered a lamb and rice dish (I forget the name but the owner said it was the one with the yellow rice that’s meant to be spicy). The lamb was cooked well and was soft and had a nice taste but would’ve liked a bit more seasoning/flavour. Big portion though Service was very friendly

Food absolutely astonishing never had the best food in my life in a long time. 5/5 best time you’ll have! Food was good, portions were massive, customer service was excellent, prices are fair, and my favourite thing was the seating area. I loved the fact that you have curtains and you can sit on the carpet, I love the privacy and I find it more comfortable than a chair.

I am a chef for 20 years and Arab, I can say this is the worst food I have ever had. Greasy, flavourless, over salted and cold

7 of us went 2 days ago and we are still suffering from the aftermath of this food if that's what it needs to be called. We ordered a few different dishes and all of them were as equally disgusting. The agda was a fine of old slightly burnt and mashed meat looked like it was puked up by a drunk after a dodgy kebab, the moussaka was overly cooked the mince was like eating gravel and the few aubergines were cut so thin and limp it was barely there. The potato "curry" was just a couple pieces of potato is a turmeric broth. The chicken and lamb mandi oh please don't insult a dish by serving this rubbish. The half a chicken was so small so bland and literally a piece of chicken boiled in unseasoned water and plopped on a bed of old stale rice. The lamb was essentially a fatty mess with no substance. The shuwa was old looking chunks of meat again on the stale rice. The staff are abysmal don't understand a word of English and even the few words of Arabic I could say maybe pronounced wrong they couldn't answer. We asked for some lemon it went over there head and when asked what a dish was they responded with the name of the dish but not explaining what it is. My family we all ended up with very bad stomach pains and having the runs. At £70 for the food we feel that we were ripped off and all the food shouldn't have cost half of what we're were charged. I have been to this place in the past and the food and service had been fine, but it seems since it's had new management it's just become so crap. Finally what also annoyed me was when speaking to the wait staff or trying to the chef would stick his head out of the kitchen and start screaming at the waiting staff and then say something to me which I could only look at his face blankly. I shall never go there again. Oh and another thing surprise surprise when it came to pay the bill the card machine suddenly doesn't work. I've worked in retail my whole adult life and card machine failures are akin to finding a pot of gold at the bottom of a rainbow. This place should not be open it's a joke and an insult to any decent restaurant.
