Firstly this review is 100 percent genuine. Have recently had a donner kebab here ...and to be honest it was terrible and expensive. Just didn't taste nice. They put some vet spicey chilli on and the meat didn't taste good either. It's probably ge worst kebab I've ever tasted. The shop was rather shabby too and didn't feel clean. Sorry for the negativity but I hope this review helps.

Complained to Uber eats about the taste of the food. archway kebas USE to have a status of amongst one of the nicest establishments to eat in at archway and over the years they definitely become spursy. I hope they can reevaluate the quality of food and taste of their dishes. The customer service however always remains tip-top

I don't normally write reviews at all (you can see by my lack of them on here!); but I went to Archway Kebab House a little cold and dishevelled from taking photos around London, outside in the cold and frost and most certainly in need of some food! The service was instantly welcoming and kind, I was able to have a decent banter with the staff, the Lamb Doner was superb and you could really taste the lamb in it. The Chicken Shish was tasty and tender, and the Garlic Mayo was spot on and full of flavour! When I asked for "Loads of Garlic Mayo" I got Loads of Garlic Mayo! Something that rarely happens. Decent old school place and really satisfying after a day out in freezing temperatures. Nice Baklava as well. Price is what you would expect for town

No care about what they did, aimed for in and out as quick as possible. Cheesy chips was £4.20 and for that you get no offer of heating it through, any sauce and very sad chips. Will never go back considering London is full of the most basic kebab houses

I wouldn’t recommend. Dry kebab. No sauce. Old isn’t always good. Go to Krystal kebab down the road! Way better.

They have a hatch out to the street but can’t be bothered to serve or take payment from outside. A very unpleasant experience. Average kebab, won’t bother with Archway kebab again.

As I walked into the restaurant, one of the staff was visibly eating food with his hands. He then proceeded to handle my order without washing his hands or wearing gloves. This is an appalling "standard" of hygiene, especially in the current environment. I walked out.

I've been here twice and each time the staff have been so rude for no reason. They seem to like to make fun of people and their accents. Food isn't anything special. Planet Kebab is across the street. They're nice and the food is good.

This place is open late and next to Archway Tube station making it convivence after a late night out. Portion sizes are good and not too long of a waiting time.

This was the first falafel in at least a fortnight and so was a long overdue occasion for me. I’ve missed that kebab shop aura. I should’ve listened to intuition & not hunger because this was a whack one. After imitating an intoxicated local my order was taken. £5.80. Here I was not going to the market stall because £6.50 was too expensive. The search of quality & unforgettable experience shouldn’t be put down to 70p, but when the contactless hovered, regret seeped.

Made too quick, the time not taken to coat the falafels in sweet grease & the centre to be infused with the heat it deserved. Salad laid aloft over a fair amount of humous & presented tightly wrapped with a neat brown paper bag to contain the spillage.

Now I don’t speak for the rest of the menu but this falafel didn’t add up. More like mini cheese bites than flavourful falafels as if taken from an iceland snack pack the flavour was more like that of a cheesestring. Less than ten bites in, the warmth is gone & the ‘falafels’ became far & few between. Like making love in the heat of a new day only for the doorbell to ring & your partners family have arrived 30 minutes early & the cold shower awaits.

ahha! Amongst the pool of sauce there is one last remaining ‘falafel’. But now only the term ‘want not waste not’ springs to mind as the waterlogged salad & white sauce drips over the hands that hold this sour sogged snack.

In My opinion it is one of the best kebab take away, in and around north London it has been consistent with their high standards of good food and hygiene I would highly recommend.

Ordered 2 archway specials and 1 portion of chips through uber eats and it came to £31 and it was awful everything was cold took over an hour to deliver. Very surprised as its normally good but this was terrible. Spoke to the manager and he said it was the price of the meat that's why the price it is what it is he then hung the phone up very unprofessional I will never use then again or recommend them ever again

We went on a Wednesday evening. We just turned up without a reservation. The place was almost full, staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Tables are large and often shared between different parties. A large meal with a selection of dishes for two of us with no desert came to around £45. All the dishes were beautifully cooked and I couldn't choose a favourite.

Aunt made a booking here on the most blisteringly cold evening, and boy was I glad she did. The owner (I assume) was helpful with taking us through the menu, and even warned me about leaving my phone on the table - "not safe!" I ordered the chicken tagine with rice and her the spicy lamb sausage with cous cous. We had the mint tea which was stuffed with fresh and dried mint leaves, perfect for digesting the meat heavy meal. Both dishes and tea were incredibly warming, satisfying and like a delicious hug on the inside. Prices were very affordable for Islington.
