Brilliant a fish and chip shop, no pizza or kebabs, just really great fish and chips done properly recommend

Have been coming here for years but on this occasion the cod was undercooked and watery which made the batter soggy and engulfed in oil. Chips were great as they always are. Despite being offered a replacement the fact they didn’t believe meant I declined the offer.

The chips are outstanding. The chicken was good and both were generous portions. I do however struggle with £12.50 for a half chicken - it cannot be justified however nice it was. The bread rolls were sadly packed in with the hot food so melted

It's a very nice place. I recommend it to everyone. The place is clean and the staff are very sweet. The food is excellent.💖

Chips was soggy and stale, chicken had a frowsy smell, waste of £22

Good selection of foods, would highly recommend the fish, was cooked freshly in front of me. Staff are also very friendly and welcoming.

Good quality food and it’s very neat and clean

Tried to order gluten-free chips from chip shops in Ickenham and Hillingdon but they said that they were not doing them on that day or they don't do them at all. However Aquarius gladly said they would make gluten-free chips for us. They were very friendly and chatty. It was such a nice experience. My son had just come out from hospital and getting these gluten free chips for him really made our day. Thank you so much.

Rotten brown oily chips, disgusting and expensive. Looks like I was the only customer they’ve had all day. Dull atmosphere, poor customer service and guy coughing all over the place. Just vile. How can I upload photos on here of my chips?

If you didn't know Aquarius take phone order which would save some time in my opinion.

Some people may see negative comments. I would totally disagree been my local fish and chips shop for 3 years and its amazing. Chips are cooked to perfection and also the fish. Both are cooked fresh and not just sereved from the hot cabinet pre made. Nice and crispy batter if you have it in good time when you get home. 100% recommend it.

Aquarius…. A lovely name. A not so lovely store. I came here a while back with my mates and I’ve been meaning to leave a review ever since. This place gave me HORRIBLE food poisoning. Bed bound for a whole WEEK. I couldn’t believe that a 4.3 star “restaurant” could’ve lead me to become that ill. Which is why I’m here to tell you that Aquarius is not a restaurant it is a business, a business that doesn’t care about their customers wellbeing. I’d advise everyone to boycott Aquarius. Get this place shut down. It is not safe. Would have left zero stars but apparently that is not an option.

Ordered large cod & chips, asked for it all to be cooked fresh. The chips were vile tasting and oily, seems like the oil hasn’t been changed in quite a while, I’m pretty sure they were just reheated from yesterday, the cod was in two pieces when I asked for 1 large cod which was also oily and it tasted of nothing but the old oily batter. I live around the corner from this place and thought I’d give it a go again, as the last time I ordered from here was years ago and it was poor then, things haven’t changed. I have to order fish & chips a few miles away to be delivered usually. I was not happy with the quality of the food at all and will never go here again.

Always, and I mean always a friendly staff (and no they have not asked me to write this review, I am writing this voluntarily to further establish how well done this place is). Food is always excellent and on point, and have always been satisfied. Well done as always!

I used to love this chip shop but since look down and only been take away the last two times the fish has gone down hill batter to thick and oily

Best chips in the land. Also cod is dangerously good, be careful with portions sizes unless you want to be too full. But each go their own (I always get too full).

Food is alright but their queueing system for takeaway is horrible. The order prep is very random and you will end up waiting for a god awful time to get a takeaway. Worse is seeing people coming in much after you walking off with their orders. Wouldn't waste my time on this again.

My cheat meal on a lazy day...generous portion of fish and chip for the price. Good service from friendly staff. I always ask the chips to be extra crispy with garlic chilli and mayo.

Ordered two three piece chicken combo meals and large chips. Chips pretty good but chicken was awful. Smallest pieces I have seen and dry as a bone. Shame as they used to be good. Won't be using them again.

Very good. The servers are extremely wonderful and nice and always ask your preferences and if they missed something. Hardly ever/never make a mistake when you order. Yes, it's a basic chip shop, but you can't all want a shop not in London to have exquisite food. Been going for years and plan to never stop going.

Amazing food. Chips are good. Wings are different. They taste amazing. A mixture of spices to create some of the most perfect wings with great texture.

Quality of fish was best by far tasty and portion size was good for price. definitely my new go to chippy.

A pretty much standard fish and chip shop. They take cash only but there is a cash point a short distance away to the right as you leave.

Chicken wings are the best, and cheap! I think they put curry powder in them.

I ordered fish and chips. It was okay. Fish wasn't that tasty quite plain to be fair and the chips could have been better. But the fish was cooked well. But they are abit sparing on the vinegar.
