Applecart Cafe in Newham

Really enjoyed the last few times have visited this new cafe & went in this week with a friend and had a hot chocolate which was excellent - also on offer was red velvet cake, that was home baked & fresh. Definitely a great addition to the local area with friendly staff and chilled atmosphere where you can just hangout with friends. Will visit again soon !

I come in here to work and have coffee/lunch/cake. It’s a really nice atmosphere and doesn’t get too hectic so you can nestle in a cosy corner and work away! Most recently I had an almond milk latte and a halloumi/pepper/hummus panini which was a v good light lunch. They also do cool events like poetry nights, art exhibitions and other interesting events. I’ve heard great things for mums and babies too.

Super excited to visit this new addition to Plaistow/Upton Park and it was exactly what we were after. Cool cafe, nice lighting, seating and overall vibe. Friendly staff and great coffee and tea. Sourdough toast and jam plus a homemade granola triangle was delicious. They take card/contactless too which is a bonus. Looking forward to coming back again.
