I absolutely loved the food, service and the ambience! We both had vegan pizza (truffle and carmelised onions) and added a sprinkle of chilli - mainly because I do that with everything! It was amazing. Lovely wine too.

Small is beautiful. This bijou place has an enormous heart. The passion for excellence is evident in every morsel of the dishes served with professional joy. To go to Amore is not just a culinary experience, it’s a rest from the frequent greyness of our weather. Amore is a pleasurable and invigorating experience. And all of this comes at a ver fair price.

It is a lovely place, the pizzas are amazing and reasonably priced. I had a vegan pizza and my husband had a normal one. They were both fantastic, and the highlight was the caramelised onion, it was really good. The waitress was really nice and the atmosphere is lovely and quiet, with some nice music in the background, but nothing too loud. We will certainly be back or even order to take away.

Wow these guys became our Italian family within 2 nights of staying in Moseley! We walked in when they had closed and had the loveliest responses and chats with the staff along with the BEST TIRAMISU!!! The next day we just HAD to come back and have a feast of gorgeously made pizza, starters and some lovely cocktails and wine! What a dream! The restaurant really feels like you're abroad which made it even more special and the staff are absolutely incredible. Such amazing service and quality of food, you can tell there is love in this place for the food and the ability to share that with their customers. Really appreciate everything you guys did for us! Thanks so much you made our trip to Moseley really special 😊

Miserable waiter. No hello no smile plonked the food down on the table skulked about like he was being forced to be at work. Was having a bad day came out to eat and some how his attitude made my evening worse!

Up there with the best pizza places in Birmingham (Rudy's, Smoke and Ash, Alicia's and Poli). Had the Bardotto (their signature pizza), which was excellent. My wife had the spinach and ricotta cannelloni, which was nice, but not as good as the pizza. The kids shared a margherita and demolished it. Shout out to the tiramisu for dessert. It was lovely, a view shared by my coffee hating wife. The venue is very small but has a lovely vibe to it and the people serving were great. Will be back.

I had the pleasure of trying different types of pizza: Ortolana, Vegetariana, Bufala, Crudaiola. Each one offered something uniquely delicious. The Ortolana was a revelation—bursting with the flavors of fresh mushtooms, cherry tomatoes and a sweet caramelised onion, it was hearty yet perfectly balanced. Cooked to perfection maintaining a natural sweetness. The Vegetariana was equally divine, with a delicate combination of toppings that highlighted the chef's mastery in making each ingredient shine. The rich tomato sauce paired with perfectly grilled veggies, ricotta and aceto balsamico, was simply sublime. Then there’s the Bufala—this pizza was a true showstopper. The creamy buffalo mozzarella melted beautifully over the thin, crispy crust, creating a luxurious mouthful in every bite. The mozzarella was fresh, and its lightness paired with the tangy tomato base was nothing short of perfection. Finally, the Crudaiola—a pizza that marries simplicity with elegance. The fresh arugula, cherry tomatoes, parmesan and prosciutto crudo were added post-bake, which made for a vibrant and refreshing contrast to the warm, crispy base. It felt like the essence of summer on a plate. The chef’s commitment to using top-tier ingredients and preparing each pizza with care truly shone through in every bite. From the moment I walked into Amore, I was transported to Italy! The food is absolutely delicious, and I was thrilled to find they also serve Chinotto, which is hard to find around here! The staff were welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience even better. It’s a charming spot that I can’t wait to visit again!😊

Me and two of my friends visited Amore on 16th of Sep. One of my friend is Muslim and hijabi. While ordering the food i asked the young lady “is the meat halal?” And she went to double check with the chef, in Italian, and as the restaurant is quite small and the chef was quite loud about his answer, my other friend which speaks Italian overheard him,”if they want halal, they can have water”. Birmingham is very diverse with a large population of Muslims, and YOU as a “professional” business owner must know this and respect your customers regardless of their beliefs and background!! And about their food, i had heard that their pizza is number one in the city, well i must say it’s quite overhyped and overpriced. Such a disappointment, we wont be back at a place that people’ differences isn’t respected!

Incredible food, best pizza in Bham.

I went here for dinner impulsively at around 8pm on a week night with my daughter. We were welcomed in and ordered a starter to share and a pizza and gnocchi. The starter arrived and was rolling around the plate. A selection of deep fried items, croquettas etc with no garnish at all or dips, just on a bare plate. The pizza was quite nice although charred one end and my daughters gnocchi had no sauce just a small amount of cheese that had melted. When asking for another glass of wine having ordered one medium on arrival I was advised sorry love it's too late. I actually thought this was a joke and when querying again the waiter advised that no they were now indeed closed half way through the meal. I was gobsmacked. We were offered no deserts and then presented with a bill of nearly £50. The pizza was nice enough but I think it was really really poor service allow us to come in, sit down and order food which wasn't cheap and fairly disappointing and then made to feel rushed and fairly unwelcome. Had it been made clear when we arrived that they would soon be closing and wouldn't serve more than one drink or offer deserts I'd have gone elsewhere. Sorry. Had heard good things but felt rather aggrieved. I certainly wouldn't return.

Great place. I only had a capricciosa for takeaway but it was fantastic, and it came through quickly. The service was very attentive as well, and made me feel very welcome. I will return.

A small little restaurant. It wasn’t busy as I arrived there around three in the afternoon. It’s impressive that pattern on the plates , the decoration and the menu were matched. Sicilian lemon came to my mind during my visit. Lovely pizza and scissors.

Great authentic experience; the staff all spoke Italian which is always a plus. The pizza and gnocchi both tasted great and I can't wait to try their other menu items. I love tiramisu but I was a bit disappointed in the taste of the one I was served here; not a big fan of cannoli but my partner enjoyed it. The place doesn't have many seats so you should consider booking in advance.

Such a charming little restaurant, with really friendly service and delicious food. The pizza is the best I’ve had in a long while, and the arancini / aperol spritz / sweet pastries are delicious too! We loved the scissors for cutting pizza, and the piping bubbling hot aubergine parmigiana.

Little quaint caffetteria which takes you back to the sides streets of authentic Italy. With a simple non complicated menu for lunch or dinner that has awesome authentic flavoursome dishes. We've been here before so knew what to expect, but this evening was pretty awesome with hospitality, food and ambience. If you can get a table here then it's a must. Service was also spot on.

Friendly family run business. Staff were attentive to your needs, nothing was too much for them, very accommodating. Food made to order and served hot ready to eat. Food is authentic Italian and staff are knowledgeable and polite . There is a good selections of food, make sure you try the desserts and the cuoppo napoletano with your pizza !

For such a small pizzaria it packs a punch. Authentic Italian run business with a warm welcome and lots of good humour, the atmosphere was buzzing (it was early eve, Saturday). This is the best pizza I've had in the UK, and I love that the dough doesn't leave you feeling bloated agterwards. The menu offers both classics and more unusual, but tasty options. Lovely little place in the heart of Moseley.

Without doubt, the BEST authentic Italian Pizza in the area! they have a wonderful combination of ingredients and pizza and side options and the atmosphere makes me feel like I am in Italy, Allesandro and Giorgio and the team are brilliant hosts, always welcoming me with a smile and make me feel very welcome. I cannot recommend this place enough , try it once and you will certainly be back for more! 10/10 from me 👍

Heavenly food, great coffee and drinks. Staff are lovely, welcoming and attentive who go above and beyond. I had a really nice cappuccino this morning. My coffee order changes daily but it’s always made to perfection. I have eaten here many times too. The food is beautifully presented and I had the truffle lasagne recently which, words fail me with all the dishes I’ve eaten. PIZZAS are a must to try, there isn’t anywhere I have ever been that has made Pizzas this great every time, I have been to the one in Solihull too and it’s just as good.

I've visited Amore a few times now. As an Italian, visiting is like finding a piece of home. Try pizza Bardotto, I cannot stop ordering it. The texture of the pizza is incredible, light enough that you have room for dessert too! All the staff are very friendly. I've been served by Denisa a couple of times, and she has such a warm, welcoming smile that it is already a good start for my meal. Chef/pizzaiolo Giorgio always makes the effort to greet his guests and make sure they enjoy their meal. Did I mention how good his pizzas are?

The food is okay but definitely other comparable resturants in birmingham e.g. rudys pizza. The restaurant is so small it's unbearable when so many people talking it's amplified to nightclub level. There is one chef and 4 service staff making it even more awkward and cramped. The service was not the best, they are much more interested in gossiping at the bar than serving tables. I just don't understand why they need 4 staff for 8 tables??? It was slow and the noise level made the wait challenging, you could not have a conversation with the person opposite you without shouting. They could have at least played some music to make it a bit enjoyable. I felt like i was eating in a tiny school cafateria- not something i want to pay for. I understand people report the food is good here but the surroundings you eat in ruin it for me and everyone else i was with. I'm surprised my experience does not seem to be commonly reported amongst the reviews here but I cannot express enough that the service provided and the surroundings are not pleasant and other similar pizza resturants have a lot more space and pleasant service.

After the reopening, it’s safe to say this is still the best pizza in Birmingham, and probably the best restaurant in Moseley. A great menu with the best ingredients and the best flavours. This will continue to be my go-to pizza choice for either dining in or take away 🍕 (Also the cannoli and tiramisu are just as good)

Went on a Sunday at 8pm - really nice vibe when we walked in, it is intimate but the decor and lighting really made it feel bright and spacious. Food was excellent - my partner said best pizza in Brum! (And we’ve tried most of them!) The tomato base is divine, tastes really fresh, and the chilli honey is such a nice drizzle - ask for a pot on the side, it is worth the 50p!! We had 3 soft drinks, a large starter and 2 pizzas for £42, felt like decent value. Lovely staff, attentive and helpful when we had a few questions.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal of pizza and parmigiana. The services was very friendly and there was a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

A friendly and warm atmosphere, delicious pizza and good Italian coffee :) . Small size restaurant , good variety of foods, salads, sides, and deserts in the menu, and everything which can make you feel good in a dinner with friends or family. I think this is what Moseley as a village needs to have; an international , 21st century village’s authentic restaurant :) similar to many other international small size restaurant in the Moseley Village.

Had a lovely meal a few Saturday evenings ago. Location is quite small and food is very good but menu is slightly limited. Elias was absolutely brillant, went over and above throughout our evening to make us laugh. Lovely evening out.

The place is pleasant. The staff is friendly. The pizza is well prepared and it is made in authentic italian style. This may be the best Pizza in the city. The coffee is excellent. I definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere at this place! It does get very busy so i recommend giving them a call before hand to reserve a table to avoid any disappointment. If anyone struggles with parking then i suggest you park in the Moseley Village car park. The food was amazing! I had the vegetariana pizza with skin on fries and the pizza was one of the best i've had. Great flavours and authentic. Even though it was a busy evening the food came out within 20 minutes of ordering. Will definitely be visiting again, thank you.

I've eaten here 4 times since it opened, 3 times with friends, and each time I have been delighted with the food and service; I've had a few small plates, the lasagne, 2 different pizzas and the rosemary potatoes, all delicious; I hope I can keep getting a table at this increasingly popular venue!
