Ambrosini's in Blackpool

What can I say, this is a little stunner. The Restaurant is small intimate, and has a lovely atmosphere. The food is first class and the owner always takes time to come out of the kitchen to thank us for our custom. We just love this place and will return again soon.

A great authentic restaurant, friendly staff. Food excellent! Definitely be returning to this unique place where you are made to feel bery welcome, great surroundings.

Absolutely terrible having booked a table for my family a month in advance to arrive to be told we didn't have a table although they admitted to having our booking. We get together once a year and really look forward to these things. Restaurant didn't seem bothered. Aside from a couple I spoke to who had waited an hour for their takeaway then waited to pay whilst their food was getting cold. I asked to speak to the manager. I was fobbed off a couple of times with apologies. I went back in to ask to speak to the manager he took a while to arrive in the meantime I was told I could have a table the next day. Manager eventually came and said it was not his fault..They had my booking down. I think in my opinion they are not coping and have no customer service skills and cannot cope with the tiny restaurant they are trying to run. Avoid at all costs.

Had a great steak, the starters, pasta, and dessert also all fantastic. The chef was friendly which made up for what I’d say was weird service. Not bad, just not above and beyond. Order espressos that came weak (they were not made correctly) which was sad for an Italian restaurant. Yet this was the only fault. We went mid-week when the restaurant wasn’t busy.

Great food at a great price. The staff are so efficient friendly and hard working. Maybe I should not state just how amazing this place is, I might not get in next time.

Always a great experience at Ambrosini’s (Titziano’s). Lovely atmosphere and the food is authentic, delicious, Italian cuisine. We have just tried the new tiramisu, but with a chocolate brownie base… wow!!! You must try it out!

We were travelling from birmingham to blackpool and the train was an hour late getting into blackpool. I called and said we were going to be late. When we got there the staff were waiting for us and we were treated like absolute lepers. The lady running the place had a sour face. You would have thought an Italian restaurant could make an aperol spritz. Clearly not. The plates were virtually thrown at us upon service. All in all we were treated very badly. The food was average at best. There was only two people in the place. I had wished they had said we cannot accommodate you this late rather than being made to feel like naughty schoolchildren. I would not go here again. They close at 22:00 and we got there at 21:20. We were supposed to be there for 20:00 but the train was an hour late. I am sorry we got there late but if you are going to treat us that way I wish that you said we cannot accommodate you. No wonder you only had two customers.

Amazing food, was so lovely! Would definitely recommend to others and will be back, hidden gem in Blackpool. The staff were also fabulous.

Soggy pizza, tasteless caprese salad (tomatoes bad quality, mozzarella definitely from Lidl). I had pollo al pepe and I am sorry to say it was a big disappointment. I suggest to definitely change a chef. Not nice at all. I will never return.

We visited Ambrosini as we wanted Italian experiance. We walked in and we felt like it was back street pub. When you’re going to Italian restaurant you expect nice Italian pizza. Pizza was very sloppy and cheese bad quality. Wasn’t cooked at all. My partner had pasta and it was over cooked not al dente at all. It was overcooked. I can cook Italian pasta better myself at home. The place didn’t feel Italian not disrespect to the waiting staff but there were definitely not Italian. I wan’t be going back.

Gorgeous meal, great Value for money Alison was great, really attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Lovely and clean, we will be back.

We had a lovely evening with friends, the food was excellent, especially the Saffron Chicken that I had!! Service was very good, a big thank you to Alison and Alan for looking after us so well. We have been before and will certainly be back again!😁

Something went drastically wrong on our latest visit to our long-time favourite restaurant. We've been regulars since the early days of the original Ambrosinis on Squires Gate. Began very nicely with the salsiccia starter which was the best it has ever been in all the years we've been going there. However, the main courses were very questionable. I ordered the filleto al pepe, a dish I've had often here, and husband ordered the filleto al porcine, again, had this many times before. My husband's meal was meant to be served with pan fried potatoes and veg according to the menu.....it came with just French fries. Mine also came with French fries, as per the menu but it didn't look anything like how it had been presented on previous visits. The steak was not a fillet steak, it was literally a thin piece of frying/minute steak, about the size of the palm of my hand. Husband's was the same. When he asked the waiter why his had come with French fries and not veg, he didn't take his meal away, just went off to check the menu, came back and said the kitchen would prepare some veg and bring it out. Meanwhile, his 'fillet' steak was left on our table to go cold, he should have taken the meal back to the kitchen and re-plated it with the veg. When the veg arrived in a separate bowl, it was just a few tiny pieces of carrot and broccoli. Husband wasn't happy so just asked them to take it all away as it wasn't what he'd ordered and he wasn't prepared to pay for it either. In fairness we weren't charged for that dish on our bill, which is just as well. Each of the 'fillet' steak dishes were £25......absolutely no justification to present customers with a thin slice of frying steak and chips and charge £25, trying to pass it off as a fillet steak. If we'd wanted a meal like that, we'd have gone to the local pub and paid half that price! There was no sign of Tiziano, the owner and chef, in the kitchen on the night of this visit so we put it down to poor standards when he's not around. We've never had a problem here before and we know that he has very high standards, the meals here have always been top notch when Tiziano is there. Sadly this visit has put us off going back any time soon. What a huge disappointment.

Found this restaurant via Google maps and very happy we did. Food and service was superb. The waiter and host were very welcoming. Highly recommend, will definitely be back. Greetings from Scotland.

I thought I would give this restaurant a second chance after it has disappointed me the first time. We had a really bad meal there. Going for the second time I thought will be good, but unfortunately not. Pizza was raw, undercooked with poor quality of cheese. My chicken dish was very chewy tasted like being precooked. You don't expect that when you are going to the restaurant. Nothing special about this place. Since the restaurant moved from old premises its not been the same. There are plenty italian restaurants in the area but definitely I won't be using this one again.

Really enjoyed having a family get together there, excellent food, really friendly staff, and delicious house wine. Not expensive, reasonable prices, look forward to visiting again.

I visited this restaurant last week with high hopes, especially after reading all the good reviews. However, our experience was nothing short of a disgrace. The pizza we were served was clearly a frozen pizza from the supermarket, drenched in oil and lacking any semblance of freshness. While I wasn't expecting an authentic Neapolitan pizza, given that we're in Blackpool, I certainly expected something better than a reheated, oily pizza. What a shame!

Nice place, delicious food - so homemade... I would recommend the pasta, less the pizza... nice atmosphere, I think it's one of the best restaurants in Blackpool. I'd love to come back.

Just been to the Tiziano by Ambrosinis Italian Blackpool. The food is very average. We found the food to be very poor quality and tasteless. Lasagne, fillet steak and carbonara, weren't great. Lasagne was very bland and the pollo pepe was extremely chewy. The steak was dreadful and certainly not fillet steak as the owner promised. Unfortunately the lack of Italian atmosphere and poor food made it disappointing experience. Not recommended.

We took the dining group to the Ambrosini on Wednesday evening and it was absolutely excellent. The food was delicious the service and the welcome was excellent. I don’t know how they managed to serve 26 of us all at the same time and every dish was piping hot. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough it’s fabulous.

First time visit to Tiziano's but it won't be my last. The food, the service, the atmosphere was everything you expect from a small, typical Italian restaurant. I had the calamari, fresh, soft, and cooked to perfection. Followed by the pizza Cappriciosa, again fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. The front of house staff, Marcus, and Gabriella were attentive, polite, friendly, and welcoming. All this made for a truly excellent evening. I used to live in Italy, and this restaurant made me feel like I had just gone back there. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an informal, relaxed, and inexpensive evening out. I was part of a group of 5 and everyone had a great meal and fabulous evening. Thank you Tiziano's

Amazing food We had Fillet steak with pepper sauce, chicken a la creme and lasagne and starters. Amazing steak, service and quality

We had a very enjoyable meal here on a Saturday evening. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the chef was very accommodating of my dietary requirements. The meal and desserts we had were delicious, we would definitely come again if we’re ever in the area.

The steak dishes are not fillet , when I asked for olive oil and balsamic vinegar i was given a giant chefs larder bottle of balsamic glaze ??? And they had no olive oil ??? Italian I dont think so

Although we’d come to Blackpool on numerous occasions we had not noticed this excellent Italian Restaurant set to the South The staff were friendly and made us very welcome, the food was excellent prepared as if you were in Italy and all fresh. I will certainly visit again and definitely recommend to anyone who want to experience true Italian food. Nothing more to add than a must!

Could not fault any aspect of this visit. The service was pleasant and knowledgeable and the food was outstanding. First visit but definitely not the last.

We came here with a large group for an evening meal and the food was outstanding. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection and the staff were professional and attentive. The restaurant also has a lovely cosy feel inside which is so welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic restaurant, really lovely place with great atmosphere. We booked for Saturday night before going to the panto and were in a bit of a rush, staff were great, came and took our order quickly. The food was amazing, freshly prepared and quick. We would have loved to stay for dessert and will definitely come back next time we are in Blackpool.

Sorry for the late review guys. For some unknown reason my reviews have gone to Traveller 15 in the past. This was our first visit to Tiziano as we were staying just down the road in the Headlands Hotel. We were looking for somewhere near and how lucky we were! Lovely staff and perfect food and we will definitely be back the next time we stay down the South Shore. Highly recommended.

Everything was great, staff were lovely, food was amazing, restaurant looks amazing. The only reason for the 4 stars is they need to slow service down. We visited Saturday night and we were in and out in just over an hour, this included two starters, two mains and one dessert. It had taken the touch off it slightly. Definitely returning however, great work guys!

Fabulous authentic Italian food. The marinara was so authentic and fresh tasting. Very hard to find traditional trattorias! Definitely worth a visit if you want good home made Italian dishes

I was recommended this place as being traditionally Italian fresh food. The linguine marinara was one of the best I’ve eaten, lasagne was perfect, tiramisu was delicious Very hard to find authentic home cook Italian dishes to this level. Mediocre at best , starter was Bruschetta, hardly any olive oil or Balsamic vinegar on it , I asked for some more and a chefs larder squeezy bottle of balsamic glaze was plonked on the table . Italian restaurant! I don't think so, glad I didn’t get the olive oil I asked for it was probably vegetable oil . Both had Filleto dishes at 24.99 basically cheap steal thinly sliced and covered in cheap sauce so you cant see the meat. One came with chips and the other with piles of mixed up veg and potatoes barely cooked . Just all looked like a big mess on a plate. Definitely wont be returning.

Absolutely gorgeous home cooked meals, we loved that we had to wait a very short time for the Risotto as it’s cooked fresh! The service was impeccable and they really made us and our toddler feel so welcome, chef even popped out to say hello - what a gem of a place! We’ll be back when we are next in the area!

We stayed a night in Blackpool and after doing some research decided to try here. We didn't book but they manage to accommodate us. Servers were lovely and attentive. Restaurant was busy. We had starters and mains. Starters, soup, meatballs, and bruschetta. All lovely. We waited a long time for our mains for some reason. Others who entered after us finished their meal already and ours still not arrived. I asked the waitress to check on our meal. It finally came and even the chef brought it out to us. The food was lovely and could not fault anything. We had stroganoff, a pizza, spaghetti bolognaise and a side salad. Everything was good and kids enjoyed it. Can see why this is a busy place. Would recommend a visit. Easy to find on street parking.

Found this little Italian, away fromthe main promenade of Backpool as wanted something a little more chilled. Food was lovely, staff were excellent and very attentive, and very reasonably priced. Great find - definitely recommend.

Great little find this place, only a small and cosy place, accommodated for me my partner and child last minute when fully booked and thankfully got the chance to eat some very tasty food. Being a little fussy, everything we had was very good quality and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend and if in town would return!

Maybe an off night for the restaurant? Read the crazy good reviews on here and trip advisor, so decided to come out of Central Blackpool for a visit. Table booked for 8pm, but as it's a very small venue , we stood outside queuing with another 4 groups waiting ... problem is no one was acknowledging any of the customers waiting. In the end, one of the chefs came to the front of house to get us all seated and help the bedlam of people trying to leave and arrive. The restaurant is very small, this did cause a few searing issues with people asking to move about as they were a but snug on certain tables... but all in all no issue with the tables from myself but other customers didn't seem too pleased. It took and age for people to have their orders taken. When they did finally arrive 3 tables had issues. One didn't get the dish they asked for, one didn't get their half and half starter right and again one lady sent hers back as their order was also wrong. Bizarrely, the order issues of other customers continued into their mains and then the sweets. Luckily for me all my orders were spot on the only issue was it took over 2 hours from sitting down to getting out. Food was ok. Nice. .. I can't say I was blown away like the other reviews. Maybe they built it up a bit too much for me? All in all....... Cons * Cramped venue * Wrong orders taken and given * Had to always approach the staff. (Customers having to ask for a sweet menu or another drink for example) * Left outside waiting for 15 mins. * one customer had to eat on his own as his wife's order was completely wrong. * took a long time for food to be served. This was not the kitchen staffs issue, front of house was all over the place. Pros * Food was ok * portion sizes are good! *prices are good I think maybe it was a bad night for the place, caused by a new member of staff who was in training leaving a lot for the girl who was training him to do. We will come back again to give it another go and hopefully update this to a 5 star.

Last time I wrote: Friendly. Full of character. Excellent lasagne! It's small businesses like this that are threatened by the current energy prices and cost of living. Give them a visit if you can. Absolutely incredible Italian. This is up there with the very best, anywhere. The best Arrabiata I've ever eaten. Superb portion sizes and wonderful staff. Probably my new favourite Italian restaurant. A MUST VISIT!!!!!

This is a really perfect, small and intimate restaurant. You have to book. There are only two sittings each day. Lovely menu with specials on a board. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food is fresh and cooked to order. Slightly away from the seafront but we'll worth the walk. We highly recommend this place and will certainly be visiting again.

Together with our friends we visited for early evening dinner. It was lovely. A good friendly family owned restaurant with great food at reasonable prices.

Enjoyed our visit here, warm friendly welcome, the place only has a few tables so booking essential. Starters were amazing but I found my main meal quite salty sadly. The desserts were amazing though

This was our second visit to this fine restaurant. We were over in the UK from the USA about 4 years ago and again this past week. The restaurant is very small about 7-8 tables, so would advise booking. They have 2 seatings, 530 for 6pm and 8 for 830pm. Their menu is extensive with lots of daily specials. We enjoyed the Sea bass, spicy Italian sausage pasta and the creamy chicken with smoked bacon served with vegetables and roasted potatoes. The tomato garlic bread and homemade tomato soup were all absolutely delicious. The service, quality and quantity of food was superb. Prices very reasonable. Only wish we had an Italian restaurant of this caliber on our doorstep. Can't wait to return

The pizza base is good but - "prosciutto pizza"... It was basic cheap ham. If it's a ham and pineapple pizza it's a Hawaiian... Not prosciutto and annana... Just disappointed because we went looking for a pizza with serrano, ibérico, prosciutto and we just got, ham.

The smallest gesture can lead to an unfolding of events. My girlfriend desperately needed a toilet. There didnt seem to be anywhere open or another toilet in close proximity. Then we saw Ambrosini's! Saying toilets only for customers I'd asked if i could buy a drink to go so she could nip to the loo. It was 13.00 and the air show was on in 15mins. I didnt want to miss the typhoon! The girl on the reception said we needn't to buy anything. This small gesture meant a lot to me personally. In fact i got a piccante garlic bread so we had a bite whilst watching the planes. The extra time waiting in the shop for the food gave me chance to observe how aesthetically pleasing the restraunt was, and how the staff treated more customers in the shop. The food more than matched the hospitality. One of the best garlic breads I've ever had and seen. Cant wait to call back in on our next visit to blackpool and have a full meal. Visiting a relative on my trip from Australia who booked this gem of a restaurant for dinner. First class food and service. Top class Italian! The best! Thank you .

The staff were attentive, the food was lovely, portion sizes were generous and the prices were more than reasonable. All in all, a lovely meal.

Lovely, cosy atmosphere on arrival, not a huge restaurant but tables spaced well enough apart. The aromas were amazing as we walked in. We were greeted by friendly, professional staff and seated promptly. Great variety of starters, pastas, pizzas, fish, chicken & beef dishes. Excellent selection of meat free dishes and salads. We opted to share antipasti board followed by spaghetti with garlic & chilli with side of tomato and onion salad. Everything was delicious. Huge portions. Good selection of wines, beers and soft drinks. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely return on next visit to Blackpool. Wish I had found this place sooner. Under £45 for 2 people which included 2 large glasses of wine and 2 bottles schweppes lemonade.

Blackpools hidden little gem we visited here on a weekend away with family and no one was disappointed food was cooked to perfection well seasoned , hot, and great portion sizes too. Only criticism would be Service could be a little better think we had to ask for drinks also one item was missing to are order and had to ask for that too other then that had a lovely evening and will be back am sure

I took my mother here for her 80th birthday as my brother had told me that it was very good and he wasn't wrong the meal was fantastic..The only thing that could have been better is the wine wasn't cold. Well done we will be back 🙂

Such a lucky find..... No quality restaurants in Blackpool, But found this gem by chance on the outskirts of Lytham St Anne's. Truly authentic Italian food. Nothing to fault.

Great food, tried pasta, quick service

A small and quiet restraunt that serves fantastic food and portions for the price. The staff were lovely and you can see into the kitchen, so if you ever worry about where your food is prepared, don't. Well worth the short tram journey away from the main Blackpool scene. If we come back we will visit again.
