Fantastic Traditional Lebanese Food. Very Friendly Staff With A Great Passion In What They Do. Very Great Value For Money 😊

¡La comida era fantástica y el servicio lo hizo aún mejor! Mis amigos y yo nos topamos con Amars cuando el restaurante que habíamos planeado visitar estaba cerrado y ¡tenemos mucha suerte de haberlo hecho! El personal nos habló sobre el menú, así que cada uno de nosotros encontró algo delicioso y recomendado para nuestro gusto. Estábamos preocupados por mi amigo que es vegetariano, pero le dieron una deliciosa fuente llena de sabor y variedad. La comida llegó rápidamente, era fresca y tenía un sabor excelente. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente terminar con un poco de Vaklava fresco también! Debido a la pandemia, el negocio parecía haberse desacelerado, lo cual es una verdadera lástima, ya que definitivamente vale la pena visitar este lugar en algunos de los restaurantes más cadenas de la zona. Definitivamente volveremos pronto.

Acabo de estar durante el descanso del medio tiempo de la final de CL y esperaba que la comida fuera la adecuada para atarme para la segunda mitad. Cristo vivo, ¿te imaginas una peor envoltura, el peor servicio al cliente y 6 que nunca recuperaré?

Como dije, la comida es fantástica. Caliente, jugoso, sabroso, absolutamente también de la liga. El servicio siempre es bueno, son realmente agradables. El lugar está muy limpio, con buena música. ¡Qué suerte!

I went there lunchtime with two friends, the place was empty but understand they only opened 8 months ago. Everyone was very friendly & my friends GM requests were discussed and taken into account, the server made recommendations too. All the food was very tasty and well presented.

Been here several times and the food is delicious. It is definitely not Lebanese as in the name and the owner appears to be Syrian. Don't let this stop you from eating here. The baba ganoush, tabuleah, showrama are all very good. The hummus is nice but not as good as a Lebanese version. Well worth the visit to this simple no frills restaurant.

Stumbled across this place late(ish) on a Saturday night and what a find. The hummus and aubergine dip were delicious and the chicken main course was so tasty, succulent and well presented. Staff were wonderful and so friendly too. Highly recommended.

Seriously impressed with this place! It does not look much from the outside but was great from the moment we walked in. A warm welcome, enticing menu and delicious food. Fattoush, mixed grill and lamb shawarma were all stand out. Good value and quick service too. Recommend!

We were vacationing in the Battersea district and found Amar Lebanese Kitchen our first night there. The wait staff was charming and very helpful with recommendations, as Lebanese cuisine was new to us. We loved the dishes he suggested. Portions were so generous that we had leftovers for lunch the next day at home. Three nights later we went back for takeout after an exhausting day of touring London. A week later when friends joined us, we took them to Amar and they loved it too. Very clean and cheerful; small dining room, intimate atmosphere. There is only one step up into the restaurant, which is at street level. The door was open to the outside air each time we visited, so no hassle getting in. Modest pricing makes dining at Amar an excellent value. I am not aware that they serve liquor. Call ahead and ask if this is important to you.

We wanted a quick bite and decided to go here for dinner. Glad we did. Friendly service, delicious and genuine dishes. We had a mixture of the cold and hot mezzes. The baba ganoush was one of the best I've ever tasted and the hummus with lamb was perfect. Will certainly be going back when we're next in Clapham.

Excellent Lebanese—almost everything homemade in this bright, clean and inviting place. Even the desserts (not quite homemade) were good. Warm hospitality from Amar who clearly takes great pride in, and loves, the food he makes. Homemade lemonade and grilled halloumi were highlights. But everything was very good. Would we go back? We already did!

Just had one of the best Lebanese meals in a long time here. Absolutely excellent and amazing value. We over-ordered (despite being reasonably sensible) and couldn't begin to finish what we had. Will be back very soon.

Just to reitterate what others have said - this is sensational flavours and great value for money. The food is top quality. Best succulent lamb and I have travelled the world. Highly recommend chicken wings and the Soujuk as starters!! NOM!!

Stumbled across this place the one time and have been each week for the two weeks since. Authentic, fresh mezze and tender charcoal grills. Also warm, friendly service that makes you want to go back. You've got a new regular out of me 👍

Fresh and delicious Middle Eastern food. I have ordered as well as sat in and enjoyed it both times. Great options if you are vegetarian as well.
