Our regular Chinese takeaway really let me down last night with a desperately poor meal. The Lemon Chicken was tough and the sauce (rapidly congealing) given to us in a separate container, while the chilli beef was undercooked and slimy. I could see the kitchen was busy, but serving up such sub-standard fare was really disappointing as normally the team do an excellent meal.

Viaje corto a Londres. . . . . Pero nos gusta este lugar! ! !

It seems that this is a Chinese Shanghai style food, but actually few of dishes are Shanghai cuisine and most of hot chilli dishes included. Only 6-7 tables at the restaurant although it looks big size from outside. The restaurant is clean, service is good, the portions for most of dishes are small and the price are not very good value for money.

Xiao Long Bao, hot and sour soup, fried rice, twice pulled pork. All good, not too spicy, a great meal for us. Will come back

The menu is extensive but about 80% pork dishes with most dishes on the menu chilli based. If you're into all that, you'll like it. If you want any variations to your choices you may want to double check they've understood, as their English isn't great and while they do try, sometimes there is confusion and you won't get what you expected. Prices are reasonable but the quality of food is disappointing. We ate Beef with Glass Noodle (see pics) of which the only good thing was the tasty broth, the beef chunks were so over-cooked that they were dry and chewy. Fried Seafood & Dough Sticks (see pic) was utterly gross. The Sticks were so hard I almost broke a tooth trying to bite into one! The seafood was ok but only 2 small prawns and lots of cheap filler. The dish had zero flavour but I liked the black fungus in the dish. Egg Fried Rice (see pic) was ridiculous as the rice was quite hard instead of being fluffy, so it was crunchy when eating.

Ordered prawn sweet and sour with plain noodles - what I received was shocking unrecognisable definitely not prawn more like severely dehydrated beef in a sickly sweet batter . Taste a mouthful and threw away the remainder = £14 My shoes stuck to the floor when I walked in ! Should have known better than order ... staff unfriendly and scruffy .... Today I feel ill.

From the restaurant decor, you may think this is another Chinese takeaway shop but this is not true. I'm impressed by the authentic Shanghaiese dishes and they are perfectly made. Some of them are difficult and tedious to make and not many London restaurants are doing that at all. This restaurant is for someone who truly know how to appreciate quality Shanghaiese food, not takeaway cheap eat lovers.

Not sure if it mainly caters to their valued Shanghaiese customers but we tried a few basic "traditional take away" dishes and they were very mean on meat, not very savoury, overpriced and disappointing for what we hoped was an exciting new restaurant in our area, with such an extensive menu. I was hoping to be adventurous with the Shanghaiese cuisine but if the basics are bad I won't be trying.

What a marvelous local gem of a restaurant. As this was our first visit, we tried not to be too daring but ordered fried chicken with chilies and peanuts, dry fried string beans with pork, rice, Siu Lon baú, Siu mai and tea. £37.50 (with service charge). Service was good and helpful. English was spoken. Customers were all Chinese. Food was fresh and nicely prepared. While each dish was spicey, you never lost the great flavors to the spice. We will return and soon!

It's been open for around 4 months and is a welcome addition to those living to the West of Hammersmith. There is an excellent mixture of dishes, very reasonably priced and well-cooked. I agree with others that the place lacks atmosphere, but as they get more popular, which they surely must, this will change I hope. The staff are very good and we came away knowing that we will return. It was very quiet when we went (Sunday afternoon), but when I tried to find out more about the restaurant there is currently no website and it does not come up in searches. Not even on Google Maps...

Excellent food but the time it took to receive it was a little disappointing. The quality of the meat was good, but wasn't much there. I would rate this chinese 7.5/10 Thank you :)

I live in an area where I don't have the option to get Sichuan food, so any chance I get to come to London I go here! Had a friend from Sichuan region and fell in love with the spice and food. This place did not disappoint! I love spicy but seems like they have a lot of options for those that don't.
