Thank you so much for such a lovely meal and accommodating a family of 13 for our last evening of holiday in Largs. I think we all ordered something different from your menu and none of us were disappointed. Quite the opposite! Lovely setting, great atmosphere and service, and exceptional food. Compliments to your chef and the whole team. Thank you.

A mixed review as I was given the wrong meal but it was tasty. The waitress did offer to change it she said the chef was at fault. I didn't want to make a fuss so I ate it. The waitress Knocked off the price of a half pint of Peroni because of the mistake. In America they would take the whole price of the meal off. Would they have binned it if I had asked for it to be changed? Toilets especially the mens let it down my hubby said the cubicle door didn't lock and the wall board was damaged. In the ladies one cubicle was out of use. The decor is very shabby the painting is very rough in places. It waa very cosy on a cold windy night and it was getting really busy when we left at 6pm. Not ruled out trying it again in the future but needs to up its game.

Shame given the wrong meal the waitress did offer to change it but I did not want to make a fuss. It was very tasty but on the menu it should have been served with rigatoni not spaghetti. The waitress knocked off the price of a half pint of Peroni for that mistake I would have expected the price of the meal to be taken off. Toilets let the place down especially the mens. Getting busy when we left just after 6pm. Might give it a try it another day.

The food really below the average - nothing in common with the Italian cousine to be honest! The decor is tiring, atmosphere really not very pleasant. The place is not dog friendly - the majority of the places around now are. We have ordered food to take it away - they didn’t even have the cutlery. Really not sure where the 4.6 rate is coming from! I wouldn’t recommend

I love Italian food. So perhaps high expectations affect this score—I’m this case I have to say food was “okay”. The service is lovely, the decor is nice-the loud abba music felt a little out of place-but ultimately the food quality for the price mark was mediocre.

Had an excellent meal at this friendly Italian restaurant. Food is cooked to a high standard and is quick to appear. The staff are attentive and helpful.

A great restaurant. We don’t often go to Italian restaurants but I couldn’t fault this one. The garlic mushroom starter was particularly delicious. The service was attentive but not overbearing. A tad on the expensive side but I guess everywhere is these days. Top notch place and will definitely return if I ever find myself in Largs again.

Excellent food and staff. Very good portions, good variety for the set lunch menu and also for the A la Carte too. Decor was nice, music muted,nice views of Largs seafront over to Millport. I was very happy with my lunchtime restaurant choice.

Third time tried …service extremely slow though used excuse they were busy …definitely not , observed many tables empty , as midweek lunch . Food uninspiring one choice for vegetarian lunch menu pizza , would one option be acceptable for people who were meat/ fish eaters ? Stuck with margarita pizza as only veg option .tasteless , bland . Have had food here twice before a lunch and Christmas menu, sadly same a tasteless Mac cheese and Christmas option ..a very dry predictable veg lasagna Sadly same review…service slow …food poor tasteless …pub grub would be more price effective .,,I’m vegetarian my friends are who Iv visited with are not and also unimpressed . I cook better at home and would rather visit other establishments with more competitive prices with better food , such a shame but not a place to visit 3 times …never again

What a fantastic restaurant! I took my Mum out for some dinner here and it was just an amazing experience. I got the pizza and my Mum got lasagna and both dishes were perfect, dessert was just as tasty. Waitress was really friendly, made us feel so welcome. Will definitely be returning, highly recommended!

Very good pasta and good wine. The service was great, the only thing we would change is the playlist ;P but that's no reason not to recommend this restaurant! If we're back in Largs, we'll be happy to come back.

I highly recommend Allegria Eatery for anyone looking for a warm and hospitable Italian dining experience. Despite not having a reservation and every table being occupied, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome, offering drinks while I waited for a table. The waitress (Morgan) was outstanding—warm, interactive, and provided wonderful recommendations. The pizza was exceptional, and both the coffee and dessert were excellent. This place truly lives up to its reputation for great food and service

Came tonight with my two kids, booked online, and didn't even have to wait to be seated. Was really nice restaurantand child friendly, atmosphere too, made even better by our waitress, Sandy. She was brilliant and great with the kids. Highly recommend 👌

Food excellent little short on staff but didn't affect service

This was the first time my husband and two year old had ever eaten here and we absolutely loved it. The menu was brilliant and so was the kids menu. A great drinks menu too. Plenty of veggie options. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be coming back to try more delicious meals off the menu and maybe a dessert.

The food was nice, it's just normal Italian food though. Very over priced. I'm not sure why.

Went here today for first time. Nice atmosphere, extensive menu, food was great, and excellent service. Reasonably priced.

Nice pizzas and bread out in the sun

Food excellent. Service excellent. Turned up with a party of 7 and they could accommodate us without any problems. Pizzas are great, none of your domino's here, dripping grease all over the place. Risottos are very nice as well.

Food is really good. Service was iffy…. Lady working right beside you adding up money isnt ideal either.

First visit to Allegria.Busy night in sunny Largs did pre book which I would recommend.Food was delicious couldn't fault it pasta was cooked to perfection delicious dessert. Stacy our server was attentive and very knowledgeable great service 10/10 will definitely be back Thanks Sandra

Like that they have opened up the restaurant so feels more spacious. Good menu choices and a wee bit different. Had a delicious lobster ravioli. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Wish I could say this was a nice meal out, BUT IT WASN’T. would have been cheaper going to scotts and getting at least some good food. £85 for three people is a joke for horrible food and bad service- servers did not come near table for at least 25 minutes and then after ordering we Waited 20 minutes on drinks- there was no other tables seated at the time. the pizza was just absolutely disgusting, Do not go here. In response to owner : you can find it because it was a walk in as it was a quiet day with no one else in. Took ages to get drinks and food evn longer to get the card machine even though I could not have been getting used since no one else was there !. The bill was £85 I would know because I paid.

What a brilliant Italian restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing. My partner thought the Linguine Pescatore was one of the best dishes she has eaten. I had the lasagne and it is the best I have had outside of Italy. I can't recommend this place enough

My Sons had a burger the roll was hard and cold.My husbands chips and peas were cold. We are from Largs, won't be back.

The quick veredict: visited here with the family and loved it, every aspect of it from the food, price, atmosphere, speed of service and courtesy was on point and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an Italian fix. The long blurb: Came in without reservation after quickly looking on Google maps for something near. The atmosphere is relaxed, chilled jazz music in the background, modern decor with sea views. The food: I got a focaccia with garlic and oil to share with my wife and it came quickly, soft on the inside and slightly toasted outside it was simply perfect. My main was the risotto al tartuffo and once again, could not fault it in any way. Delicate and creamy with the right amount of mushroom and a generous amount of parmesan shavings on top, I left nothing on the plate. My wife had the lasagna, they're are many reviews here praising this is their best dish so I won't ramble on, suffice to say the reviews were correct. Kids ordered from the kids menu, well priced just over £10, garlic bread, a mozzarella pizza which was just a smaller version of the adults and just as lovingly made, while my son had the lasagna too, and neither of them left anything behind on the plate. For pudding the kids had ice cream and my wife the tiramisu, again really enjoyed it all. I didn't have room for anything, a testament perhaps to the portion size. The waiter was very pleasant and the food came quickly without feeling rushed at all. As a said at the beginning, well worth a stop here. Why am I not posting any pictures you ask? We all started eating at soon as the food arrived, it looked too good to wait 😊

As a local , I have eaten here a few times and tbh , it was a bit hit and miss with food quality. However I have been in three times in last 6 weeks or so and had delicious meals . Twice I had Lasagna , it was perfect. Last night I had duck breast ( one of my favourite dishes ) - it was outstanding! Would compare easily with top London eateries . Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Don’t know what has changed in the kitchen , but keep doing it - whatever it is ! 😘

Been to Allegria twice now and it's a lovely restaurant and the food is delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. One of our favourite restaurants now.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! I had the mushrooms on toast then penne carbonara followed by profiteroles for dessert! Staff were very pleasant and attentive. I only took off one star for atmosphere as restaurant wasn't full but it was very enjoyable as I was dining alone and always nice when there is other diners so comings and goings as there were a few tables in! 😀 Only visiting for few days but will be back on my next trip to Largs! Thank you. 😊

Lasagna not as good today this one was shocking nothing but a lump of mozzarella cheese little meat cheese thrown together cooked in a horrible slop, pizza wasn't that great either as the replacement place was too noisy.

Seafood Risotto rice was undercooked. Kitchen staff reheated the same food. Rice cooked but seafood became tough & chewy! 🤮

Spent a lovely catch up with friends at this little gem of a restaurant! Charming staff,great value menu,delicious piping hot food, lovely wine and fab coffee! I hope it goes from strength to strength!

Had dinner last night in the allegria. It was very stomm so unfortunately there were not busy but staff were happy food was excellent atmosphere great selection of drinks and food lovely .I had the pompette Al sugo was beautiful tasty and hot and mains I had tagliatelle filletto beautiful. Well done everyone a errible storm was raging outside but you were all great 👍

Lovely little lunch , highly recommend the sole.

Visited today with a friend for a nice meal out. The service was prompt, and waiting staff were nice enough. I ordered the lasagne and my friend had the fillet taglatellie and we ordered garlic bread as a side. The tagliatelle was overloaded with mushrooms and dry. Also the steak in the dish was extremely fatty, and there wasnt much in the dish, maybe 5 small bits. Expected the steak to be fat free as it was fillet, however, as so much fat and grissle was present, this must not have been served as advertised. My lasagne was incredibly cheesy and I now feel ill. I couldn't finish the dish as it was mostly melted cheese, I couldn't see the red from the bolognaise sauce and could barely find any meat, however I did wish to take the leftover home. When the box came out it had my lasagne without any side and no garlic bread. My friend did bring up the fact that her dish was unsatisfactory, and the waitress said she would talk to the manager, however nothing came of this. I really liked this place the first few times, but something definitely feels off now. Following this my friend ordered a coffee. Another waitress arrived and put a coffee down in front of each of us. I had said that I didn't want anything else, so was very Confused. All in all it wasn't a great experience, we are both now home and both feeling ill. I personally have been sick. My lasagne resides on the street now. Quite the let down, but as I said, the staff were attentive. Just not particularly accurate.

Cozy restaurant in the heart of Largs, great but not easy to navigate menu with good selection of vegetarian/vegan options, staff very attentive and helpful. Rigatoni pasta somewhat bland and plain but my expectations were perhaps too high, on the other hand the vegan spaghetti all puttanesca were outstanding!

Amazing staff , the food was exquisite, really so impressed . Very relaxed environment too would highly recommend

I wish I could give Allegria Eatery five stars. The first night our dinners were of the best meals we’ve had in Scotland! However, the second time we went, a week later, it was disappointing – – just OK both in food and service. I’m guessing the second time we went. the B shift was on. If you want to keep a great reputation, we suggest working on consistency.

Bit quieter than usual but good attention from staff as always. Unfortunately my husband ordered arancini which managed to be both lookwarm and overcooked at the same time. He mentioned this to staff as he ate very little but it still appeared on our bill which was disappointing. The waitress said she was not authorised to make deductions from the bill but surely if she was the only front of hose staff member present she should have that authority

Wow, what a place❤️. When we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and made to feel very welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service first class. The food smelt and tasted amazing. I had the Risotto with prawns, mussels, and clams.. Oh my god, it was the best tasting Risotto I have ever tasted. My fiancé had the seafood pizza, something he had never tried before, and he wasn't disappointed. We both had affogato la cafe for desserts but forgot to take a before photo. I assure you, without a shadow of a doubt, it was absolutely delicious. If you are ever up this way in Largs, you have to eat here. But be warned, you must book a table as it's a very popular place. ❤️

Just a wonderful place to have great food !!!!

Here recently for a late lunch, no prior booking. Lady who served us could not have been nicer, found us a nice quiet table. The service was impeccable, warm and friendly. Varied menu at reasonable prices. We opted for the fillet steak and the Merluzzo (pan fried cod), both dishes were perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The only downside to our visit, was that the main portions were so filling, we had no room for dessert :) I reckon this is as good a reason as any to go for a second visit.

Went for lunch today. Food ✓✓✓✓ Staff ✓✓✓✓ It was absolutely delicious from start to finish If you haven't been give a try you won't be disappointed

Excellent Italian restaurant. Although a quiet Tuesday evening the atmosphere was congenial. Food was excellent from Sea Bass to the tiramasu. Service was great friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended.

Enjoyed our meal unfortunately wouldn't return as card machine stuck in front of us for payment as soon as our cutlery was put down

It's ok. Expensive. I asked for the female waiter to leave the cheese on table for my food and she had to go away and ask .I was then charged for it. The male waiter was friendly . The next day I went to a cafe and sat outside. Was under half the price and so much better . It's if your willing to spend more money than you should
