beautiful food, will definitely order again

Madras was very oily, after a few bites was very stomach churning.

Quality and flavour was excellent - I would recommend these to anyone who wants a takeaway - their restaurant is outstanding too.!

Very poor taste to curry’s and keema rice was just plain mince and tasteless steer clear

food was very tasty, as it always is from Ali Raj but it was 15 mins late and, as a result, the starter and the rice were just luke warm. The curry was still hot though thankfully so I mixed it together to eat but it would have been better if he starter hadn't needed reheating.

The food was lovely! The delivery time changed after the order was placed (delayed) but it was delivered within the new delivery time. We’ll be going back here for our take-aways in future!

Ordered lamb dish gave me chicken !!!

When I placed the order with the restaurant it told me half an hour wait. I ordered it so it would come in time for my wife to leave for work. 2 hours later it still had not arrived. Eventually When it did finally arrive 2 1/2 hours later the food was cold. And my wife had to go to work with no food. When I called the restaurant to cancel my order I kept getting passed around and no would help me. I just kept getting told it’s on its way.

Meat from mixed grill was mostly dry and the lamb was so tough it was basically inedible. Chicken on the bone was fine although about the only thing that was really. Chicken in the curry was ok but seemed like it was at least a day old also as was somewhat dry also. Probably left over from the previous day (Sunday) service I guess. Anyway, very disappointing and won’t be ordering from here again.

I ordered with a 2HR delay so plenty of time it was still late and worse when it came it was cold and for the first time on any delivery from any of the dozens of places we’ve ordered from they wouldn’t bring it up here said he had a bad leg. Bad service bad food and we have loved this place so no more well avoid

Absolutely hands down the best indian food in Llanelli., and believe me iv tried them all. Went for meal at the restaurant. Was simply stunning. Food was so full of flavour and the Service was top notch. Will be returning

we were told order would arrive no later than 8. we were told by Ali raj that the order was ready at 8 ... the order arrived at 9.48 pm and was Stone cold and the poppadoms crushed!! photo taken!!!!!!!

As always Ali raj was great - I especially loved the phall sauce and tandoori half chicken - the only draw back was I thought the chips were a bit dry ! I would recommend this restaurant and takeaway to anybody!

As always Ali Rhaj is the best I’ve been to or takeaways the phall curry is the best and nan bread great , chips were a bit dry but all in all no complaints and would recommend!

ordered food at 7.30pm appalling said 8.30-8.40 delivery.....phoned resturant at 9.30 food ready waiting for driver, 10.10pm we had food cold. I don't recommend

Visited here many times, great friendly staff, very helpful. There is such a huge choice on the menu. Have tried many curries, Biryani, Madras, etc in past. This time I spotted one of their specials, Duck with orange, and fiazi fried rice cooked in ghee. Which was stunning. Partner had king prawn tandoori, they were huge. And absolutely gorgeous. Will be visiting again. Best Indian Restaurant we've been to. Staff are brilliant.

Food arrived but chips were thin and cold. The curry was just a hot sauce and the chicken was tough. Nan bread also cold. Very disappointed with the food.

Finding a vegan indian close to home had always been a challenge that failed us. We had a real hunger for one tonight and decided to call the Ali Raj. We we're talked through their many dishes which can be made to our requirements, of which there were so many. We collected the order from their beautiful restaurant. It is such a nice place and they are such nice people that we decided it will be the place for our next date. Upon arriving home with our food, we didn't even make it to the dining table, the food was so aromatic and delicious that we eat right there standing up at the kitchen counter until our plates were clean. 10/10 food. Thank you Ali Raj.

Didn’t want to leave a review as we’ve been ordering meals from here for years and normally really enjoy. Unfortunately we ordered korai chicken which is mild normally, but had to throw it away as it was really spicy. Too spicy to enjoy.

From initial orderngad watching the estimated delivery time get later and later , it was almost an hour difference. I can understand 15 or 20 minutes but almost an hour is unacceptable. No complaints with the food or the delivery driver at all. Just the time it took.

Had an absolutely fantastic meal here we had the Golden Thali for 2. It came in stages just at the right times, so each course was really fresh. Excellent quality and a good range of flavours. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Exceptional value at £34 for the 2 of us!

Member of the family hosted a leaving party here for a cousin going back to NZ. Food was delicious, service was excellent and really good prices. Very friendly and good place if you have children.

I want a refund as apart from late.. The delivery driver went to the wrong address and when by the time he phoned me to ask where I lived the food was cold and not pleasant to eat so it was wasted... I am not satisfied with the order and I want a refund. Or I will not be ordering food from here again.

Small nan bread , horrible chips ( had to through them away ) plenty of chicken in the curry and rice was nice I won’t be using them again Best try somewhere else , what a waste of £30 and it arrived cold !!!

The order was actually 35 minutes late. I didn’t even get an apology for the lateness of the delivery. Then I had to warm all the food up before we were able to eat the barely edible food.

Half-Chicken dishes not as expected. Have been fromed from bones and added to bob-descript sauce. I understand not everyone wabts meat-on-the-bone. But shurely they should just order somethin else!

The food was cold and went in the bin. Two hours late on the delivery, and it was not the drivers fault as I tracked him on just eat tracker. restaurant clearly prepared food too early. order from here a few times and was lovely this time was poor.

Ordered chicken tikka masala and chips, food was cold masala was tasteless and the chips were like eating salty cardboard I'm sure they were reheated many times. overall food was terrible.

Ordered and food was lukewarm, chapati was in a plastic bag and it was so small compared to other places, no salad or pompadom in sight, genuinly had 3 items for under £20 and they wouldnt give the normal essentials, make sure you guys order the salad and pompadom, wont be ordering again unfortunately.

Nice curry house with plenty of choice available. Curries are quite tasty and the flavours diverse. Ideal size for a large party of guests and they offer a Sunday buffet style with about 5 curries and a mix of sides. Good value for money.

No garlic bread I had 2 plain nan No onions in the chicken tikka

Tasteless just like blended tomatoes, asked for pilua rice looked more like boiled rice, not great, gone down hill.

Really disappointing meal. The food was warm but had little taste. Both nan breads were burnt black. The Ali Raj doesn’t usually disappoint but this was a real let down!

Dry chicken in korma and tikka masala, coconut rice was fragrant but also dry and not fluffy. My tikka masala sent me to the bathroom shortly after eating it. The only thing we enjoyed was the naan bread.

I asked to change curry to phall curry and they did as always
