Worst pathetic Appauling service and food not fully cooked, it was raw meat. They were good before and now their service is low . We were sitting ,waited for food for 2 hours... The lady came 6 times to confirm our order... And after 2 hours bring only 1 dish... And forget the rest of food... On inquiry, they started making the rest of food... We won't come again for sure.. very disappointed . It was family gathering...

We had most amazing food here away from pakistan. Loved the karahi and kebabs. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. Cheap eats. I am amazed by the negative reviews for the restaurant because this place has one of the best desi restaurants in london. Not too fancy but finger licking good food.

This restaurant is located on the busy Romford Road and offers both table and floor serving i.e. sitting on the floor. This is a quirky restaurant with delicious Afghani food. The waitress had a little difficulty speaking and understanding English and the service was average. TIP: The best time to visit is after rush hour, when parking is free and less problematic

It's very basic ambience with a very hearty customer service. The Afghanistan cuisine this restaurant delivers is very much original and represents the culinary attributes to this specific cuisine. Very very nice experience and I shall be returning again.

If you don't look out on to the road you could think you were in Peshawar! Super traditional pakhtoon joint. Like many other similar restaurants the menu is not over complicated, karahis are ordered by weight. We had the chappli kebab, Kabuli pulao and 1kg lamb karahi all of which was truly amazing. Our waiter strongly recommended the "house" lemon soda which was a little salty but nevertheless refreshingly cool. The bill worked out around £14 per head which for this type of food is standard. The complimentary salad and cava tea were both on point. Gem of a place, don't worry about the initial look when you walk In! Your taste buds will thank you later.

I visited with family for Iftar in Ramadan. Service wasn't great as there was just one waitress at such a busy time. The chicken tikka leg was the highlight of our order. It was excellent and this is the only place in London where I've found this on the menu. I'll return purely for this but I understand that is more a snack than a meal.Lamb karahi was cooked well, taste was excellent and meat was succulent and flavoursome. However, there was a LOT of fat, too much oil and the meat wasn't cut right with too many small pointy bones.Seekh kebab karahi was very average, not worth ordering again.Naam bread was too crispy for my liking. It is supposed to be soft.I probably won't be going again except for the chicken tikka leg if in the area and feeling peckish.

I visit this Afghan place about once a month. I decided to call them in advance and ordered my food, they cook everything fresh, so the food takes 30-40 mins. I ordered tandoori chicken (£2 each) - perfectly cooked and not too spicy, for starters. They served this with a nice yogurt raita and a lovely coriander chutney, a bit spicy for me. This was followed by 0.5 kg of lamb (£12), cooked beautifully. We watched him weigh the chunks of meat and then start cooking in front of us - a mixture of salt + pepper, a little ginger, a tomato. turned and cooked in a kararhi for 30-40 mins, finished with some green chilli's and fresh coriander. The food was served in the same karahi as they cooked it in. All with a lovely massive naan (£1).The dish was so simple and the best curry / karahi I've eaten outside. I would definitely order again. Th portions were enough for 2. They even gave us a plate of rice pudding for free at the end.

I've been to this small place a few times now, the staff are really friendly and the food is really nice. I normally eat in, it has a very simple layout and the menu is concise and limited. I've also had a take away a few times.I stick to their sheekh kebabs (nice and tender, £3) and tandoori chicken piece (leg + thigh, lovely marinate and not spicy at all, £2) with a massive elongated fresh naan (fantastic, £1). My wife and have this for £8 in . Just the other day i ordered a freshly made maash daal (£3), it was one of the best daals I've eaten outside the house. They also serve pilau rice and meat and chicken curries (you pick a weight and pay. I think 1 kg is approx £24-30, or just stick with 1/4 kg, ~ £6-£8 per portion.I always pop in as the food is always fresh and the staff are nice. when I'm waiting or after a meal they always give you a pot of tea - cardoman and other spices - a great way to prepare for the meal ahead or digest your food.Limited parking between 0800-1830, due to location, however its worth popping in for the food.

I had a Groupon Voucher which we had to reschedule due to TFL strikes. The manager agreed on the phone and said they moved the date. Me and my friends arrive on the day and they say there is no booking, one guy was nice and the other guy was being nothing but rude. I also tried calling them throughout the day before the commute over but no response. I have tried reaching out via email and both their contact numbers and still have not gotten a response. Groupon cannot refund me as they have marked it as a "No Show". These people are scam artists and their restaurant is empty for a reason. Please save yourself the hassle and eat elsewhere in Westfield.
