Absolutely awesome best place in Leeds for lunch on the go can't be beaten on flavor or value don't waste your time with McDonald's or any other rubbish head to these guys you won't be disappointed shawarma with chicken and halloumi for less than 6 quid

Akkawi has been serving Palestinian food from a smart caravan on Albion Street for some years now. It always seems to be busy, and sells a range of well-cooked food, such as falafel, shawarma, etc. Me and my pal picked up a couple of falafel sandwiches today, which were really good, pretty hefty, and excellent value at £5 apiece. Pleasent, friendly service. Looking forward to going back soon.

Absolutely love this place! Been coming here for years, best shawarma i’ve ever had. Flavour is on point, service is always great. There’s always a line here at lunchtime, and truly none of the other expensive gyros places popping up in Leeds can match up to Akkawi (won’t name names). Plus it’s Palestinian owned so even better!

This is a small trailer on Albion Street serving Palestinian food. I have come here many times now and the falafel from here is really good. It's very yummy and tastes nothing like the falafel from the shops or other places. Their halloumi is also really good. They have also always been selling their food for quite a cheap and good price, it has had to slowly rise with inflation but still among the cheaper options in Leeds. They are now accepting card too.

This is our weekly treat for going in to the office!! Me and my colleagues go every single week. Couldn't recommend enough.

Killing time in Leeds city centre waiting for train, slightly hungover after day at cricket and in need of a decent feed and an unusual hankering for falafel. Stumbled across this place by chance, and the falafel and halumi wrap was speaking to me. Happy to say did not disappoint and chap serving more tan happy to oblige with extra chilli and garlic sauce, which is always a bonus

Honestly the juiciest, mouth watering and very filling food! Decent price. Oh just the thought of it is making me want to travel up north and purchase one right now!! I found the shawarma wrap with chilli sauce is the best, it isn’t really chilli which you can’t bear but it just gives a taste of flavour. It’s cash only, lucky there’s a Barclays Bank close by.

I went here for lunch with a colleague. I got the halloumi salad and my friend got the chicken wrap. We also got some of the spicy potatoes to share. We were not disappointed. The food was tasty and makes a change from a boring sandwich. It was really affordable too.
