We haven't had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant but we have ordered a take away and the food what was sent blew my tastebuds, if this was the quality that we received through a take away actually going to the restaurant will be a joy and i can not wait to try one day. I 100% recommend anyone to give this place a try you won't be disappointed because we certainly weren't.

Excellent choice of starters, mains and puds. Very pleasant environment and welcoming and friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful. Not been in for a while as no longer living in Stoke, but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Be prepared for the portion sizes which are slightly larger than most restaurants!

heard so much about this little restaurant and having a Polish background, I felt the need to go. It was fabulous and excellent value for money. The portion sizes were big and none of our party finished their meals. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Wouldn't have the house wine again - perhaps the wine list needs reviewing. But would certainly go back and recommend to any one.

Having visited this restaurant for the first time today !0-11-21 we were absolutely delighted with the service from the polite, pleasant and knowledgeable young lady, the food was 5 star quality obviously prepared on the premises not expensive and the portions were not for the fainthearted, this is a place that deserves a visit it is a little diamond in the fast diminishing crown of the Mother town. We are already planning our next visit which will be within the next fortnight or so. Give it a try we will be surprised if you are disappointed.

Took ages of driving around very rough area to find this pearl of a restaurant. Very tastefully furnished with very charming waiting staff. I needed a quick meal in the middle of a long journey from Lincolnshire to Wrexham. I had the Pierogi Ruskie which were as good as any I've ever had, with a strong coffee to perk me up for the rest of my journey. I hope to find it more easily if I'm ever in the area again.

The food was fantastic and the service couldn't be any better. We love the atmosphere and feel of the place. Such huge portions and cheap prices! Second time visiting and definitely will be back.

Came second time this month, service is great and very polite, food is very tasty. I also received a discount and a free bottle of a beer, because I spent over £20. I can’t wait to comeback as the meals are very tasty! 🥰

A busy Saturday evening but despite this service was speedy, efficient and very friendly. Lovely atmosphere made more so by the staff and/or principals who went out of their way to be helpful. The food was brilliant, all three courses of it. My spicy herrings and beef rolls were particularly enjoyable as was apparently my partner’s smoked salmon and pork schnitzel. Chocolate cake was superb. If you’ve not tried Polish food give this place a try, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Picked up a take away from here tonight, I had potato pancakes, pierogi and chicken soup. All the food tasted great, prices were reasonable, lady who served me was friendly, restaurant looked clean and the place was busy, obviously very popular which is always a good sign! Will definitely be back for more tasty Polish food!

Refused to honour Dine card. Waitress blamed fear of council checks for inability to provide water, plates cold as she can’t carry hot ones. Food good though.

Another delicious lunch at this delightful Polish restaurant yesterday. Tried the delicious Pork Schnitzel this time and was not disappointed. Thoroughly enjoyed this dining experience and will return.

We had heard excellent reviews and were not disappointed during our first visit. We received a friendly welcome and were asked to sanitise our hands. The safety measures were obviously in place, due to Covid-19, as some of the tables were out of use which separated the others. We decided to have a starter each which were thoroughly enjoyed before going onto our main courses which were delicious and filling. The decor is sparkling and the atmosphere is friendly. This will definitely not be our last visit and would recommend it to others.

Staff accommodating, menu varied and very reasonably priced. The decor was a bit much but clean and fresh. Food was hit and miss- the menu was clearly labelled as there were some dietary requirements, we had some of the best pierogi, even compared to the homemade stuff! Tomato soup was nice, Greek salad lacked in flavour - all elements were there in generous quantities, but lacked flavour and just seasoning of any description. Potato pancakes came out cremated - this wasn’t spotted until we eventually flagged the waitress down to get the bill. Overall nice and cheap and worth it for the pierogi

Fabulous food and service. We went as a party of 12 and the service, food and ambiance was all spectacular. We were all served together which is to be recommended given the logistics! The staff are so friendly and enthusiastic! Our second visit and definitely not our last.

Had a christmas meal with friends and it was delicious! My favourite was soup, a bowl of warm happiness 10/10 would eat again.

Visited on first night of opening after New Year and the restaurant was very quiet. However, the pancakes as starter were spot on, very tasty and well-presented. Unfortunately, they didn't have the chicken kebab (which came highly recommend), so had the goulash on fried potato; this was also very tasty. The only slight negative was that the Polish beers were expensive for something out of a can. Otherwise, would recommend this place.

Had Plate of Appetizers as a starter, between two of us - plenty for those who don't have a great appetite. Baked salmon for main course - beautifully presented & delicious. Appeared to be far too many new potatoes with it - but not as filling as first appeared - still couldn't finish them all though. Included salad was great. Had the cake of the day to finish - chocolate cheese cake - very nice. Overall, excellent cuisine quality, good size portions & very good value for money. Even the drinks are reasonably priced. Owners are friendly & helpful. Venue is ideal for smaller groups & conveniently located in Burslem. Fully deserves the awards it's received.

We visited as a group from our family run car spares business (Shelton Autospares), having looked through the window previously (odd I know), and seen stunning food and large portions.Decision made we booked at short notice, and already knowing the restaurant had rave reviews we were not disappointed.The menu is concise, with pork, chicken and seafood dishes as mains. One thing I was very impressed with was the fact that our waitress enquired as to whether one of our party was vegetarian or vegan having ordered a veggie dish, or were they just trying the dish as it sounded nice. Just trying something different, but didn't have to ask. All the food was served very quickly despite being busy. Portions are massive. I had the sea food platter, with mussels, squid, prawns and fish bites with a side of fries, I was stuffed. Stunning.We decided to share deserts, and the favourite was a chocolate and salted caramel cake which went to the fatty end of the table so we ordered another to share it was that good.Seven mains, four puddings and one round of mixed beers, coke and water came to under £100.Great food, great staff, beautiful restaurant and would highly recommend it. Absolutely fantastic, well done girls.

Visited here today and what a fantastic meal had the homemade meat and lard with bread and it was out of this world. Main course was the pork schnitzel and that was great. Pudding had the chocolate jelly cake that was really good to. 5 off us went and all had diffrent things and they all enjoyed it even my 11 year old son loved his meal. Highly recommend a trip and it's very reasonable on price. Starters average £5 Mains average £9. Cheap and good food

Wow what a fabulous meal the food was great, reminded me of my dad's cooking in the 60s/70s will definately go back. Very reasonably priced and the decor is 1st class.

Excellent food, generous portions and very good value for money. My wife and I have been on numerous occasions and always find the staff to be very friendly, helpful and efficient. The restaurant is always spotlessly clean and popular with both the local Polish and English community. Check the opening times because they are slightly different than most restaurants.

Perhaps not everyone likes Polish kitchen, but if you have not experienced it yet, please hold your opinions until you sit down in AGIE & KATE in a relaxed atmosphere and wait for heavenly service that will satisfy all the cravings for traditional Polish culinary methods. If, however, for some reason you would like to try English dishes made by the Polish team! you will be amazed about the richness of flavors and professional service! I recommend that everyone has an open mind for New experiences, as well as for people who walk on the ground and know what! they want!

My wife and I saw the seafood platter on Facebook so decided to have Sunday lunch there,nice decor and really friendly staff we had baked Camembert and spicy herring for starters and then seafood platter and dumplings for main course all the food was delicious perfectly cooked and really tasty and all reasonably priced all in all a great experience we will definitely return in the near future highly recommended

Attended during Burslem festival with friends. Great food, very flexible with taste requirements. Very generous portion sizes. Excellent value for money and absolutely smacking cakes!!!!!! So much so we have brought whole cakes as birthday cakes for friends and family. Will definitely return. Well done to you K&A; for bringing such a great experience to Burslem xxx

Love this place, the girls are fab. The setting is really comfortable and relaxing. The food is beautifully cooked and presented. Excellent choice of polish food and even better value for money. Katie makes the most amazing cakes too.

We visited on a Saturday night after waiting a few weeks to get a table, a good sign we hoped and we were very pleased with our visit. A wide range of traditional Polish dishes that left us planning another visit so we can try more. Between us we ate pierogi , cabbage rolls, polish sausage, potato cakes, schnitzel and traditional white soup, children had schnitzel and pierogi and every plate went back empty. It was delicious. Would have given 5 stars but there was just a bit too much oil for my taste. Still it was delicious though. Will be back for sure.

Last Sunday we went to the Agie & Katie Restaurant. A very intimate place with a nice design. After entering the premises a smiling lady greeted us (as it turned out, it was one of the co-owners of the premises). She took us to the table and then gave us a menu card. We ordered; Swiss cutlet with potatoes and salad, slips with Silesian dumplings and a chicken cutlet with French fries and salad. Portions just right for the hungry. Everything was very delicious. Certainly we will be back there because the food is like it is said to be like our mother. I recommend this restaurant because you can really eat well. Agie & Katie Restaurant congratulations on keeping it up.

Visited Agies recently never having eaten Polish food before. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, and the portions were very generous. Will definitely be visiting again.

Just called for quick lunch, traditional chicken soup a bowl of stock with noodles, traditional tomatoes soup barely warm and like dishwasher won't be visiting again

An impromptu find whilst visiting the local hospital . Very clean and nicely decorated. Attentive and helpful waitress . Delicious lunch time menu and great value for money. A great find and we shall be recommending it to friends.

My husband and I visited on the spur of the moment, and I must say it was a great decision. The waitress seated us promptly, and helped us understand the various dishes explaining what the ingredients were, and the ‘English’ version of the same dish. We had the chicken starter and Camembert, perogi and chicken kebab. The kebab was gargantuan, we could easily have shared it. Great value at just over £40 for 2 starters, 2 mains and 4 drinks. Highly recommended.

Booked for lunch for 5 before the Port Vale v Oldham game. A warn welcome and a very clean and presentable restaurant. The food and service was amazing, the restaurant sells beer and wine and the price is reasonable. Good home cooked food and if you have never eaten Polish food this is the place to start. It's only a 10 minuet walk from the football ground. Thanks to Agie & Katie for a great meal (And Port Vale for the 3 points!)

Never having enjoyed Polish cuisine before, when we discovered the Agie and Katie restaurant had opened in Burslem, we set off on a pre-Xmas adventure.

Fab night friends accompanied with fresh home cooked food, we all had different dishes and they were all delicious.. I didn’t have room after the pork schnitzel for a sweet but friends had crepes and a slice of apple pie to die for .... Next time I shall be having the cabbage rolls ..

We decided to go for a lunch, we were a party of two we had two different items from the menu and we were not disappointed, great food. We will be going again.

Great local restaurant friendly staff and lovely food however I was quite put off by the vegetarian options being mostly fish. When I mentioned it they told me I was completely wrong and vegetarians ate fish. Their chef had checked it out. Due to this I wouldn't want to return in case they put fish in the rest of the veggie options.

Agie and Katie’s restaurants has been refurbished to a high standard. The service we received was excellent and went beyond the standards of most restaurants. The food was lovely and highlighted the true potential of polish cuisine. The food was reasonable and I would definitely go back again. The ham and cheese potato pancakes were delicious and the stuffed cabbage leaves were very tasty. I would definitely recommend you go to this restaurant.

Very friendly service in a lovely setting. Value for money good tasty food. A really tasty herring salad starter followed by 2 large cabbage rolls filled with meat and rice. Portions are quite large. Also ordered a portion of sausage and onions to share. Polish beer at just £3.00 (500ml) Overall excellent value for money portions of good wholesome food. My recommendation is to order a selection of dishes to share, if there are 4 or more people, so as to share like tapas. Service was good and friendly, although the restaurant wasn't busy during our visit. Will definitely return for a second visit.

We came here with high hopes and they were really fulfilled as the food here is very tasty and affordable.

We came here as a group of 10 before attending a theatre event at Spode visitor centre nearby. We had asked for a buffer given that hat we hadn't got too long and we were a large group. We had such a range of lovely polish food and three courses for a very reasonable price. Very friendly host and a really great experience. I have already booked to go back soon.

Went to Agie and Katies restaurant as a birthday treat on Sunday 13 August, the restaurant was light, airy and very clean. There is a toy corner for the little ones. (just a suggestion but this corner might be better further in the restaurant as is is quite near an automatic door and if you are down the bottom of the place you cannot see little ones). Tables are well spaced and set with lovely white cloths and coloured napkins, glassware and cutlery was sparkling, always a good sign for me. Food is based on the Polish quisine but is clearly explained in English. Portions were extremely generous, freshly cooked and prepared with quality ingredients. Staff were pleasant, helpful but not intrusive, they were smiling and friendly all the time. A great surprise for me was a beautiful birthday cake freshly made by Agie and Katie.
