Afternoon Tea at The Belfry Hotel and Resort in North Warwickshire

Lovely afternoon spent in a lovely atmosphere. Service by Christina was 1st class.

Lovely afternoon tea. Christina was very attentive and pleasant. She looked after us as though we VIP’s ! We had a full range of finger sandwiches, brioche bun rolls, delicacies , scones and warm sausage rolls. There was so much to eat that we ended up taking some home in a pre prepared box. We had a huge selection of teas, ( decaf/ loose leaf) coffees ( decaf/ lattes/ iced coffee) juices (apple , pineapple, mango) A relaxing afternoon in pleasant surroundings.

Jan 15 we had afternoon tea at the Belfry it was excellent food and excellent service from Alyson and Michelle who were so friendly and helpful we will definitely return

Best afternoon tea experience! Michelle and Alyson went above and beyond, another level of service! They were so warm and welcoming, polite and engaging. We have already booked to return :) all the food was delicious, so many cakes for us to take home

Worst afternoon tea ever!!! Avoid at all costs please For the name and the amount they are charging the service is appalling. It took them 30 minutes to bring a tea and then a further 30 minutes to way wait for sandwich’s and scones. Our tea was cold by the time the food came and there was no apology for the poor service even though there was minimal other people in the restaurant. The waitresses are slow and moody and there is nothing special about this place. Save your money and the time

I had an afternoon for tea for two voucher bought for my birthday. We booked for today (12/7/24) at 14:00 with the table free for us until 16:00. We had a great experience, unrushed and very attentive. Great selection of sandwiches (the best being the smoked salmon and horseradish), loads of tea , coffee and juices etc. In addition a nice cheese and onion brioche roll. Lovely mini quiche and two types of scone with jam and clotted cream. Finally a generous selection of small but elegant cakes - which we couldn’t manage and bought home in a lovely (provided) box. Staff were all really lovely, non intrusive but very attentive and looked after our every whim and request, always there if we wanted more tea/coffee/juice etc. Michelle was our main host and she was delightful and even ran out to my car in the car park with my car key … which I had only just realised I had left in the table!

WORST AFTERNOON TEA EVER! Avoid at all costs. I was so excited about visiting the Belfry, thinking it would be a luxury experience. However, my experience was awful, based on the service and food. I'm vegetarian and cannot comprehend how they're getting away with serving up dry triangles of stale bread with a slice of cheese, not even any butter, chutney or salad. My second sandwich provided was even worse- literally some sliced green peppers in between bread! In 2024 when there are soooooo many good vegetarian options available! In the end, I made do with a dry cucumber sandwich. To be honest, the non vegetarian selection looked terrible too. I am still in shock to be honest, as it is not cheap. The service washorrendous too, they took 40mins just to bring over an English breakfast tea. Most of our orders didn't even arrive at all. To sum up, this has to be the most disappointing afternoon tea ever and I do not recommend it at all.

Got pointed 2 were I sat not taken to...overheard the speech 3 times about "have u been here b4 and bla bla...was annoying just av it written out..save waiting staff repeating themselves no chit chat from waitress very robotic bit like being at the tills in a shop ..food was nice very overpriced though and the o.j was not fresh just cheap alternative didnt tip as service charge was added !!!cheeky but gotta maintain the fixture and fittings im sure that's were extra cash goes

A small group of us visited on 9th December 2023 for afternoon tea. We arrived and ordered our drinks which arrived 40 minutes later because we prompted staff twice. The poor service continued for the 2.5 hours we were there, and we couldn't wait to leave. Only we couldn't leave because we had to wait another 35 minutes for the bill. Hot drinks were cold, and the food wasn't great either. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

I've just come home from the belfry after being treated to an amazing afternoon tea from my lovely boss. I have to say everything was fantastic. All the food and drinks were delicious and to high standards. Annie who served us was so brilliant, she's friendly and engaging, she felt like part of our gang of ladies. Thank you for a top notch experience.

Enjoyed cream tea in the airy open bar/reception area. Comfy seating, cosy nooks, delicious scones (3 each!) - what a treat!

Lovely afternoon tea. Good selection of tea's, sandwiches, warm scones and cakes. Excellent service, would recommend.

Very over priced for what you get, and the service was not that good
