The portion sizes are massive. Cooked to order. The staff are very helpful. Very knowledgeable regarding allergies and what items are cooked in.

Really good.usually cooked fresh so be prepared to wait if shop not busy but we'll worth the wait and good prices too with a wide variety of options

Nice quality chips, sausages and fish cake are good too, always gone to this chip shop when we are staying in Abergele

Lovely chips, nice staff. It felt very expensive but we were starving and the town didn't seem to have too many food provisions especially a few days before Christmas. Staff were friendly and the food was nice.

Chips were rubbish and at £2.70 a portion absolute robbery but that is the norm these days for portions that are far too large.

After being away for the weekend, we just fancied a chip butty, with curry sauce to dip in. Wow, the curry sauce was so nice, plenty of chips and a balm cake to dip. It topped our weekend off.

The cod and chips were nicely cooked , curry sauce left me wanting home ok but not chip shop curry sauce that I'm used to, on the upside they do roe 😁 and chicken curry

Very disappointed ordered chicken curry and chips and was charged £6.50 for a small tray! Also ordered chicken curry on its own and was charged £5.00 no chips no rice what a rip off, needs to wear a mask highway robbery!!

Everything freshly cooked and cooked perfectly. The fish was lightly battered and a lovely golden colour which tells me they look after the cooking oil. Live 2 hours away but can highly recommend

Bought a meal for us to have back at campsite. Very expensive and then they did not put all of the order in the bag. By the time we got to campsite it was to far to back, our meal would have been cold. CHECK YOU HAVE ALL YOU HAVE PAID FOR BEFORE LEAVING THE SHOP.

Been tonight as didn't want to cook on our last night of our hols. Drove over from Towyn as didn't like the look of some of the chippies in the area and we were definitely not disappointed. Best fish and chips I've had in a very long time!!! Kids also really enjoyed their cheese burgers sausage and fishcake. Will definitely call in again next time we r in the area 5*

Ordered cod and chips. Did not realize that cod had shrunk so much recently. Maybe it's the high cost of fish or the cost of energy that has led to the decrease. Overall fish tasted ok chips could be better.

Very busy at 6pm on a Saturday but unsurprised as the meal was delicious. The staff wete going like the clappers to turn the orders out! Our first visit but definitely not our last, chips were beautiful, fish was crispy and not greasy or sopped in oil, all were freshly cooked and the half chicken while not massive, was certainly a good size. The order stayed piping hot on our 10min drive back to our caravan. Friendly, fresh, hardworking and averagely priced, what's not to like?

Best tasting fish I've ever had, and massive. Great owner and staff, very cheery and food was ready for us as soon as we went in the door. Would reccomend to anybody and definitely go here again when I'm in the area.

Visited here on a Saturday night in March 2022. I was a walk in order so expected a bit of a wait once I'd ordered, although it was perhaps more than I'd expect elsewhere. They are also another place that's cash only, so had to walk into town to an ATM before walking back again. They aren't the only place like this, but not sure how they managed through covid with having to touch all that cash! Prices seemed about average, maybe slightly less. However the food was sadly average. The fish seemed a little too processed although was freshly battered, but the chips were ok. Portions perhaps on the smaller side from places back home. Would probably investigate other options before visiting again, but certainly not on the list of places I'd never revisit! Current menu attached.

Guy behind the counter reckons they do the best fried chicken in Abergele. Its a small town so not sure how much competition he's got but mine was like chicken jerky.

Nice service but the fish batter was soggy and the fish pretty bland, the peas were undercooked in part and also lacked flavour.

Just around the corner from me, an excellent chippy, come here quite often, guaranteed good chips and the curry is amazing , staff are really nice.
