Excellent thin-crust sourdough pizza with a good selection of toppings. I had the Zola (nothing to do with French literature - it has Gorgonzola cheese in the topping) and my wife had Quattro formaggi (also with Gorgonzola). Quick, friendly service, a simple and clean space and BYOB. What more can you ask for?

Staying at the motorhome ayre on site for 3 nights, eating here became too much of a habit as the food was so good. The location itself was perfect for us to explore the island and, with 3 dogs with us, the pizzeria allowing them in was an added bonus. The food, and the combination, their head chef had devised, made it an eating enjoyment to be savoured. Highly recommended

What an amazing place! The food here is simply incredible, possibly the best pizza we’ve had. The combinations are really interesting- salami and honey?! And totally works. The interior is great- games and reading materials to keep you occupied. Dog friendly which is such a bonus as our dog likes to come with us. Beautiful meadow to walk around in outside- wild flowers. Our only criticism is that it isn’t opened at weekends :( We would have definitely got a take out if it was……. maybe next year??

Great little spot, especially for an island as quiet as Sanday. Coffee was nice, but it was the pizza that’s really worth the trip - I ordered a veggie one with vegan cheese, so it was vegan (sorry orcadians) - so delicious. Lots of places in Orkney don’t have vegan options at all, and if they do they’re often not very good - but this was one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve ever had. Lovely staff too :-)

Having travelled to Sanday I found that my phone and Satnav were pretty useless. The man in the post office at Lady village didn’t have any maps but mentioned that the local pizza place was printing some, so I went there actually to get a map. Sure enough - free maps were available and much improved my visit to Sanday. This place is a gem. The food was fantastic, and staff were friendly. I had garlic bread with a green salad. The garlic bread was an actually a lovely thin base pizza and the salad was also lovely and fresh. It was real pleasure to eat here.

This is such a great Pizza Cafe, (its also a campsite and campervan place out on the Burness peninsula). The owner has put so much into this realtively new venture and its so worth the visit. Pizzas are expertly made behind the counter and booking is advised as it will undoubtedly be busy in the summer. Traditional pizzas, starter options and side orders are all on an excellent menu (available to view online), with a few innovative options and a range of fine sundaes to choose from. Coffee (Orkney Roastery) is great but I don't think it yet has a drinks license so BYOB and we offered a corkage tip. If you visit Sanday this is a must go to place and I'll be back I hope.

This cafe is up towards Graham Place from the main street. We enjoyed soup, toasties, coffees and two slices of a deliciously moist chocolate cake before setting off for the St Margaret's Hope ferry. It was very relaxed with a friendly atmosphere, with local artwork on the walls, some for sale. Service was excellent and we would recommend this as somewhere to eat after visiting the town's excellent museum.
