This is the best outdoor cafe (with indoor seating) we stumbled across it and have since bought a puppy and we frequent the Cabin as often as we can. I recommend this little business to everyone. Go try it you won't be disappointed...we love it.

Lovely afternoon spent hearing lots about the history and then getting to taste some lovely ales. It was a great way to spend an afternoon with family then enjoyed a very tasty lunch afterwards. Great atmosphere and will definitely return…soon!

Called in on a Friday lunchtime. The staff were pleasant and attentive and they have a good menu which is reasonably priced. We didn't have any alcohol but they also have a good selection of beers and if you're not eating they have a nice " snug" room at the end of the restaurant area.

Wow the donuts are always amazing. We love the monthly changing menu giving us the change to try different combinations and classics. Always fresh and great service. Good coffee and donut combo deal aswell. Only downside is no inside seating and the time it takes to serve the donuts is quite slow ( more down to people not deciding I think) Always a good way to start a Sunday

Popped in yesterday afternoon with my wife for quick pint on a wet and windy afternoon before heading into town for a concert. This place is an absolute gem. Good beer, friendly staff, old fashion and rustic and great views up the River Tyne. There is nothing fancy about this place it’s just the way a pub should been.

I frequently visit this establishment, usually two to three times a month, often bringing my children along. On my latest visit, we enjoyed three ice creams, a jar of jam, and a cup of coffee, totaling around £16. When I requested a glass of tap water to accompany my coffee, I was surprised to be informed that I would need to pay for a plastic cup, as they are not returnable. I mentioned that in Italy, it’s customary to serve water with coffee, but unfortunately, my request was not accommodated. I was told that the need to charge was due to the VAT on the cup. As a regular customer, I believe it's important for businesses to consider reasonable service requests, especially when the profit margin on a £16 sale could easily absorb the cost of a glass of water. Your shop is positioned as a premium establishment, which naturally creates an expectation for service that aligns with that reputation. By not fulfilling such a simple request, I feel you may be overlooking the potential long-term value of regular customers like myself. This experience has led me to reconsider my future visits and the spending habits of my friends and family. Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback.
