The best restaurants serving Indian food in Plumstead Greenwich London

Called in on our way back to Abbey Wood campsite, a little early in the evening so very quiet but the service and food were second to none. We shared poppdoms, a mixed starter, peshwari chicken, chicken madras, pilau rice and a keema naan. All gorgeous, will definitely go when we're here next time.

4 tables all squashed together so no social distancing at all, food was nice but it was very cold so had to keep our coats on so consequently the food got cold quickly, The food was quite expensive considering the area and the state of the restaurant and they have a cheek to add service charge and a bag charge even though we ate the food there and had no takeaway

Food was really poor quality on this occasion. Bland curries, and the paratha was undercooked and thick. Popadoms were very poor. One totally smashed into bits in a bag.

Recently ordered from here. Genuinely shocked at the reviews of this place. The food was so bad… tasteless and very very oily. Chicken jalfrezi was so poor executed - the chicken used was over cooked and dry and it was swimming in masala and oil that had no flavour the chicken makhani was no better. Not sure what type of oil they use but felt a horrid taste in my mouth. The chicken biryani just felt left a water chicken curry mixed white rice. Seriously shocked at how bad the food was. Spent about £40 and we had to chuck most of it away - so bad.

Due to covid we were unable to visit in the restaurant so thought we would get a takeaway. When I called, the Staff were so helpful and friendly. The food arrived on time and I must say this was the most tastiest takeaway we have ever had! The flavours were wonderful! We will be ordering again very soon!

Amazing food as ever! This really is a gold mine of a place. Great food and such sweet staff. It’s a few doors down from where I live so couldn’t be handier but I can never understand why it’s not busier. The food is so tasty and it’s certainly not average Indian food from, I gather, Northern India with Nepalese too and you can really taste the difference. It’s a bit scruffy inside but don’t let that put you off. I’ve never had a bad meal !

Very good but avoid Uber. Order mix grill, lamb biryani bowl and prawn buna with Uber delivery £50. The food was delicious especially the biryani but not worth via Uber.
