The best restaurants serving British food in Raglan Monmouthshire South Wales

This was not what we were expecting having read the reviews. Very limited menu with average at best food. Service was willing but appeared to be in training and the bar staff didn't know what a Wine Spritzer was. Has the ownership changed recently?

Don’t be deceived by appearances! Really great steak and comfort food- lush cottage pie and chips. Super friendly staff- and great value for money!

We bought a Groupon voucher for here and when we read the previous reviews we thought 'Oh no' But actually it is nowhere near as bad as portrayed. Afternoon tea with a free refill would be £16 a couple, so would suggest you go for that, rather than coffee and cake that is £6 a head.
