The best restaurants serving British food in Epping Lindsey and Thornwood Common Epping Forest East of England

Attended a private function ... Great space, staff were lovely.

Had booked for 4 people last night Saturday 2nd Nov. We turned up at 7pm. And there was no one there, the door was open the place was a disarray. Table cloths screwed up on one table wine glasses everywhere. No staff. We walked around , called out ..... no one....So we sat down as we had brought our own wine. Took glasses from behind the bar drank the wine, hoping that someone would turn up. But no. So we got a cab to epping to have a meal instead. It was so strange. Why take a booking if you are not going to be there.

This is the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Offcuts of lukewarm fish and warm chips with the eyes still in . Do not recommend.

A comfortable branch with plenty of seating, many near with mains sockets. A good place to relax before a walk in Epping Forest.
