I absolutely love their roast pork bap with everything on it. Whenever we have a group in town, we make a point to stop here. Excellent baps, excellent pork, stuffing, sautéed onions, applesauce make for an excellent dining experience! They have good sandwiches to order and pastries as well.

Latte Lottie did the most amazing buffet for my mother in laws surprise 60th birthday! Each and every guest commented on how amazzingggg the food was and asked for latte Lottie’s details for future events! 5 star and will 100% get food again. Marie was super helpful and very accommodating,

Chanced upon this bakery after lunch & we were attracted by the old school, traditional shop front & the tempting treats on display. Got a vanilla slice & a pineapple tart. The vanilla slice was full of thick custard which oozed out the side when we bit into it. The pineapple tart was very interesting; we haven't come across it in other bakeries. There is a crumbly crust at the bottom, filled with cooked down pineapple, topped with cream, with the yellow icing on top. It was very messy to eat on the go, like the vanilla slice, but was a yummy treat! We were tempted to go back in for more sweet treats but resisted. While we were there, there was a steady stream of customers, so it's clearly very popular. Great little find! Defo recommend a visit when you're in Rhyl!

Ordered from here again following a previous trip. Again food was amazing - freshly made, delicious & nutritious. 2 of us had the special which was tempura Cauliflower with sweet chilli sauce and the other had the pulled pork. Such a change to have good choices as a vegetarian that are not just an afterthought. I’m sure the other cafes are decent enough for what looked like standard offerings, but this little gem of a street food outlet is something else. Staff are always really decent too. Didn’t take photos of food - photos attached are our view from the seats outside on a very rainy day - outlet windows just out of site on the right. Menu is small but we had difficulty choosing as they all sounded so good.

Thank you for hosting my daughters babyshower. The buffet was excellent with a mix of hot and cold food. All perfectly cooked, plenty of it to round and some left over for guests to take doggy bags home. Guests were commenting how good it all was, the location, friendly staff and of course the food.

My first experience of Phoenix. This is a brilliant place, on the long Bangor High Street, but slightly hidden, being set back from the road. It has a large interior with amazing decorations. Many different styles of seating to suit different use expectations. The coffee is excellent. The food we had was very good - Farmhouse Pizza, and chicken kebab with a very tasty Turkish style mixed salad and rice. The service very friendly and the price was very reasonable, and in my view is excellent value. I saw they do a lot of Turkish style cakes and sweets - for my next visit. This is a good place to get food on Sunday when most of Bangor is closed. It is also a good place for a private chat or gathering and you do not want lots of background noise. It has high chairs and some toys for young children. I hear they hope to get a licence to sell wines and develop a more bistro style offering, which will be very welcome in Bangor.

Stand out coffee and pizza. Served by the slice, roman style which is a focaccia base with amazing toppings. If you like a spicy pizza, the nduja slice comes with mascarpone, basil and the calabrian spicy sausage. The authentic Italian influence is strong here. Coffees are as good as you'll get - high quality beans and served by a barrista that has worked for years in the coffee business. Flat white my favourite. Cakes and other sweet treats available. Dog friendly. They do catering too.

Found this place as we were driving past. I was staying in Bethesda and bored of takeaways. There appears to be no other restaurants in the village and after finding this I was so happy. Despite being full the restaurant called me up to say they had a cancellation. The food was lovely, staff were friendly and I can definitely recommend this place when in the area. The restaurant isn’t big so make sure you book before you come!

The Welsh Shop, a well established ran shop in Llangollen is maybe one of the first shops you see after getting out of the Market Street car park. Offering Ice cream and other items to eat and drink as well as a great collection of Welsh items for sale. a Must visit and see place in this marvellous town.

We called in after a very blustery walk from Conwy. The staff were very friendly and the cappuccino and mocha were lovely. I had delicious homemade leek and potato soup and the others had sausage and egg sandwiches or jacket potato. Everyone enjoyed their food and agreed that the prices were very reasonable. The homemade pies, pasties and cakes at the counter looked delicious as well

Great staff - very helpful & friendly, fab event, really good atmosphere - the gig was amazing & would really like to book here to stay in the future. It was good that, although the place was packed, you didn't have to wait to be served. Ty Glyndwr: diolch o galon
