Zorba's Cuisine in Wigan

I love this place. All freshly cooked authentic Greek food while you wait. Excellent value, the Gyros are fabulous as are the falafel. Nice friendly staff.

Compré un Gyros pitta, la carne estaba muy seca y parecía que estaba hecha mucho tiempo antes. Además de eso, casi me rompí un diente varias veces porque tenía pedazos de cartílago / hueso.No lo recomendaría, hay mejores opciones de comida en el mercado de Arndale.

I had gyros, chips and salad for £5.40, the sfaff were pleasant. The food was hot and flavourism. The portion size was good, I would go back next time i am in Manchester.

Este lugar es muy buena relación calidad-precio y la comida es deliciosa. Será difícil encontrar un asiento ya que el mercado está tan ocupado.El curry de espinacas de pollo es mi favorito con ensalada en lugar de arroz y ¡la halumi pitta es increíble!Lugar fabuloso uno de mis favoritos!

I come here for the mint spinach lamb. I don’t understand the bad reviews. I think staff is nice and I visit this place for the food quality.

Asked for a pita gyros meal. The meat wasn’t good and it had some sort of orange oil I could see on the pitta. Also asked for full salad with humus and the server charged me extra 50p for the humus while forgetting to add all the salad. Clearly focused on money sucking. Not coming back.

I got a gyros with rice. The quality of the rice is bad and the gyros doesn't taste like much.. I don't understand the hype.

Una calidad excelente y precio razonable lugar comida griega. Precio justo y bien servida. Me comí la carne y stiffado Mezzi. Era delicioso y abundante. Lo describiría como un diamante en bruto. El Arndale tienes una escena clásica de la comida de la calle. Bien hecho lo truncó.

Este tiene que ser uno de mis almuerzos en el Arndale.El salmón y el arroz son irreales, ojalá supiera la receta de esa salsa secreta.¡He navegado durante años y cogido salmón salvaje y cocinado yo mismo pero nunca he podido probarlo tan bien como este!Espero que Zorba pueda atender mi boda si alguna vez me caso.

Así Zorbas es un poco descarado, siendo dirigido por Persia en vez de griegos. Aún así, saben que su cocina griega. Buena relación calidad-precio, buen tamaño de la porción. Pollo con patatas fritas real auténtica vueltas suaves delgadas. Pollo podría haber hecho con un poco más de sabor y jugo, aparte de eso, no hay críticas

Absolutely love this place, such a little gem. Falafel is one of my all time favourite foods and they do such generous portions. Really tasty food and the guys who work there are lovely. Can't recommend enough.

No he estado aquí por algunos años debido a que alejando, pero conseguí mi almuerzo de hoy aquí y fue simplemente genial. Era fresca, las raciones eran buenas y la selección me pareció fantástico. Me and the mrs had some curry and rice from here as we were in a rush, the taste of the curry was not nice very bland and runny hardly any meat either, that evening mrs has severe stomach pains and at night had bad toilet. Go eat somewhere else guys avoid at all cost.

Since my last review they have really upped their game. Service is a lot better with a new system by paying at the counter and moving to the end. Gyros and chips is to die for. Really good food.

Called for lunch while shopping in Manchester. I had the salmon, came with rice and parsley sauce and salad if I wanted it. Friendly staff, lovely food, recommended.

Usted sin duda permitieron elegir en el Hall de la comida, pero puede hacer arndale peor que visita Zorba's. Fuimos en una visita Jueves encantados.

Une pause resto au milieu d'une journée shopping pas forcément diététique mais vraiment pas cher. Bref je recommande.

Chicken is moist yet cooked, well seasoned and the sauces are well balanced to go with. salad is fresh and the tomatoes are not salad ones, which means they are tasty. great lunch choice and super cheap.

Excellent selection of Mediterranean food, whether it's the gyros, meze box or stifado it is always delicious and reasonably priced. I have brought numerous friends here when we've been out and about shopping and all have loved it and returned. I would have even hired them to do my wedding catering but alas they were not able to meet my request.Gets very busy at lunchtime and it's a bit of a scrap for chairs as seating is communal so definitely go in pairs so one can find a table and the other one orders!

I come here whenever i'm out shopping in town, and i always have the gyros in pita. Good value for money, and freshly made with a wide selection of salads and sauces for your meal. If you're looking for fresh food at a reasonable price, zorba's is the place to go.

Zorbas is a solid choice, great value and the chicken and spinach is superb. Tender chicken with a rich buttery sauce. Love it.

I like greek food and I experienced a lot of greek oriented restaurants/fast foods.When I visited this one they didn't have any pork meat to go with my gyros. The food had a good taste and it was fresh. Would recommend !

I bought pita one with halloumi and one with falafel for lunch for my boyfriend and I.Pita with Halloumi was good but nothing special, a lot of salad and sauces- over all very nice.The falafel pita on the other hand was outstanding! Flafel was freshly made from pre-prepared falafel mix, I can only assume it was homemade as it was by far the best falafel I have tasted.The portions were big and after lunch filled me up for the rest of the day till dinner. Great value for money as both wraps were only £3.00For vegeterian falafel lovers I would recomend Zorbas over GoFalafel any day!

the atmosphere was fine and the customer service was good too but for me, it was the falafel pitta that made my day! they are seriously the best falafels I have ever had and i added olives and a side of beans to mine. It was only £4.50 and was very filling. So its cheap, great value for money because it tastes great and an amazing vegetarian option.

On our visit we had gyros with 'saffron' rice with a colour of saffron but not the taste. The chicken itself was tasteless and instead of being well grilled and crispy was really not nice at all. Tzatsiki tasted odd as it had probably gone off.My friends beef stew reminded of those times when you had - a beef stew - at your colleges canteen. It tasted like dirt and that was, unfortunately, the only taste in the dish.

What can i say. Visited while in the Arndale. Opted for halloumi pitta with salad and olives. Get the garlic sauce.Absolutely fantastic although easier to eat if you sit down at the adjacent tables.Will definitely return.

Tasty cheap food to energise a busy shopper. Always eat here when on a girls shopping day in town. Can even indulge in a a sneaky Mythos because I'm getting the train home. Shame the seating areas are so busy but we usually manage to find somewhere.

Zorba's is one place not to miss if you head to Manchester Arndale market to eat. The market is full of diverse food options from all over the world, but Zorba's shines from the rest. It is truly authentic and great tasting. The Flavours used in the Mediterranean cuisine sold there is really well balanced. Their stews are best eaten with the boiled white rice. Their chicken and spinach stew is incredible, i actually prefer it to the beef stifado which is arguably more famous as staple greek food.Always get the salad and yoghurt with the meal as it adds much to the already well balanced flavoursI sincerely advise anyone in the mood for something different to head there, the staff are friendly and helpful also.

Just visited zorbas today and again the service and food was wonderful. I had the amazing chicken in pitta with lots of fresh salad and extra hot sauce and mint sauce.The chicken is coated in amazing spices, pitta bread is so soft and warm and delicious. The salads is amazing and fresh and the sauces are homemade- wonderful place- thank you so much!!!!

Came here for my Dinner a few days ago on my dinner break, food was really good but didn't receive what i ordered and didn't notice untill i got back to my office ended up paying over the odds for a chicken pitta but it was very nice.

Tried Zorba's for the first time. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if they had anything gluten free. He told me all the main dishes were so I went for the chicken and mushroom dish with a side of rice. Tasted nice and a decent portion size for the price.However, 1 hour later and I had a reaction to gluten (something must have been in the dish or with sharing serving utensils) Eating gluten when you have coeliacs isn't a case of just an upset tummy, your body reacts in a way similar to fighting a virus (as it's an auto immune disease) so cue vomiting, fever, shortness of breath and being completely wiped out the next day. Really disappointed to give a bad review but I can only put my reaction down to eating gluten here.

Greek, Cypriot and Persian dishes freshly made every morning. At zorbas you have the choice of getting a light dish such as a gyro pitta or a Greek meze, or you can choose between 9 different stews with amazing basmati rice! The roasted salmon is absolutely fantastic. But it runs out fast! Try to catch it before 2 pm!

Great food with really friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. The dishes are made fresh daily. Falafel and the Haloumi pitta is a great option for vegetarians and you can go for meal deal with chips and a drink for £4.50

They made me stand there for 10 minutes whilst serving other people, when I approached the server about this; he just smirked and laughed at me in a condescending manner; a friend got his food which was bland and horrible.Would avoid like the plague.

I go here everytime I go to Manchester, the food is superb! I usually get either the falafel salad or the halloumi salad and the food's always so tasty and fresh, I'd eat here all the time if I could haha

Been here many times, shocked to see its only had a couple of reviews.We always have the same thing when we go, Gyros pitta and gyros with chips.We have been to Greece quite a few times and the Gyros here is very good. Definitely worth what you pay, good size portions as well.Staff are friendly and the food is great. Would definitely recommend, it's a great alternative to going to somewhere in the food court, something a bit different.

Went to Zorbas yesterday after walking through the Arndale..and all i can say is the place and food is awsome. The saffron rice with chicken is the best ever and so delicious and also the salads they provide are so fresh and tasty..and also good customer service they have is good. I highly recommend this place..i have been here few times and i still enjoy it. The food is so good.

me and my partner stumbled across this place yesterday whilst shopping, could not believe how good it was, especially for the price we paid, I have been to greece 9 times and to 9 different places which all had fantastic food, this place was equal to all of them. I had gyros with chips and tzatziki and my partner had the stifado, we paid £9 for the lot, the portions were very ample. Highly recommend this place to anyone

Didn't know this even existed until today, had the saffron rice and salad and it was awesome will definitely be returning to try the other things

For £6 you can eat a big portion of rice ance sause meat. I specially like the white sauce chicken. Look for it inside the arndale market

Went for a snack as we walked through the market and thought this was nearly perfect, only issue was the bread not traditional gyros bread but otherwise perfect. Very tasty and filling.

Me and my colleagues often go to Zorbas for dinner and take it back to work with us. They have a large amount of hot food on offer and all of it is delicious and competitively priced my favourite is the Chicken and Spinach with rice. Another great dish is the chicken salad.
