I love this Chinese and the lemon chicken is so bloody nice and boild rice this is what I always order

Wasn't impressed with the wseet and sour chicken balls they were more like chicken dippers

Ordered roast chicken Chinese style and special curry boiled rice and chicken curry only first 2 was delivered they then blamed us for not ordering chicken curry

I ordered food and has not turned up and there not answering the phone to me again terrible service

We ordered our food for collection and when we turned up we took a seat while waiting the order. While sitting there all I could see were flies everywhere. There was an insect killer there and all we could hear was the popping of flies. On the wall right in front of us were bottles of coke that had actually turned colour. This along side the smell actually put us off our food. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly. However, the older women bringing the food out was not friendly at all. I gave her a smile and she just looked me up and down. Definitely the worst Chinese I’ve been too. I am baffled how they have a hygiene rating of 4

Worst place ever waited 30 mins for the food the place was freezing cold with Ming kee you place an order and it's done within 10 minutes plus it not cold there it's the first and last time I will use ystalyfera Chinese

I placed my order over the phone at 17:50 to be told I would have to wait 1 hour, baring in mind i only ordered chicken fried rice and chicken balls, but i went ahead anyways. I call at 19:00 as asked where my order was, they said sorry and that is it leaving now, i live a 6 minute drive from this takeway and it still didn't arrive until 19:20. Food was average, wouldnt order unless you want a long wait for your food.

Absolutely terrible service. Rung at 6.15 to be told food will come in 1 hour. Ring again at 7.40 to be told the food has left. Ring again at 8 to be told the food is being cooked and will be with us as soon as the driver returns to collect it. 8.10 still no food so ring again and told them I want to cancel it as I have 2 small children who are starving as food is over an hour late now. To be called back 5 minutes later to the lady telling me food will be leaving shortly, I told her I said I want it cancelled and she hangs up on me. Absolutely disgusting service. If I was told 2 hours when I ordered then I would have made a different decision, to then be lied to to say food had already left when it wasn’t even ready is disgusting. Do not order from here!

We ordered beef in black bean sauce, sweet and sour, chicken balls, chow mein special, pancake rolls, fried rice, chicken chow mein, and chose complimentary mini spring rolls. None of us had any complaints. The food was fresh and delicious. There are several Chinese restaurants in this area but I will keep going back to this one as the staff are so friendly and accommodating. They opened at 5 and I called early. They allowed me to place my order in advance for delivery after they opened. They delivered 40 minutes after their opening time and food was hot and delicious. On our next order we went to collect and placed our order. We waited less than 20 minutes. Very happy to keep eating here. The biggest problem is you cannot pay by card, they only accept cash payments. Very inconvenient.

Not our normal Chinese takeaway, but ours was closed so I thought I'd try this and I regret it enormously. The food was really substandard, with the lemon chicken tasting like it had been made with extra strength Lemsip, and the Singapore noodles were close to a curry Pot Noodle in flavour. Both my wife and I were left with a headache after eating (which isn't normal!) - which we both put down to the food. Normally leftover take out goes in the fridge for the next day, but this was all straight in the bin. Avoid with a passion.

Food was hot, just lacked any flavour, very bland

Rice is super bland needs some MSG or summin but the duck is proper nice tbf but everything else is weirdly bland

First time oredering here and honestly wished I had tried long time ago food is to die for, ordered what I thought I would eat in one sitting a d there was enough for next day portions are huge and affordable, delivery lady was an absolute sweet heart and can't wait for my next weekly takeaway cause there is no way I would ever go anywhere else 😋💗

Always lovely food from here and delivered on time, if not early. No soggy or over cooked chicken balls here. Everything was lovely again tonight - thank you!

Absolute shambles. Ordered at 7.25 was told 1 1/2 hours, bit long but went with it. 9.25 still no food so phoned and said if it’s not here in 5 minutes don’t bother, told it’s on its way. 9.55 food arrives and they looked shocked when I told them to take it back, was told well it is the weekend and if I ordered on a weekday it would be ontime!! Really!! Will never order from here again!

I have chicken fried rice, bean sprouts, spare ribs and poppadoms when we have a chinese and the meal is beautiful each time we order it. Staff are also polite.

In fairness this was a particularly busy Saturday night, but I was told it was 2 hours to wait for delivery or 45 mins to wait to pick food up, and when I got there I'd been waiting 5 minutes already when they came and told me they didn't have one of the dishes I'd ordered, and I asked for something else they had there that would be quick and I was still waiting a further 40 mins whilst they completed the order. And they gave me the wrong dish then as well. The food was average, but I will not go back here on a Saturday night again that's for sure.

Minke in ystalyfera has good food and fast service.

No longer will I purchase a single item from here after the way they treated myself after the MESSED UP by giving me a order containing onions after I repeated my order for my food not to contain onion, I phoned back after to complain and was told to return the following day which I did it was then the owner more or less called me a liar and wanted the food returned, she Did NOT APOLOGISE AND WAS NOT HAPPY TO REFUND THE MONEY. I will give everyone in the village my views about this. Don't go here, there is a Chinese up the road, with PLEASANT owners

Ordered food...... didn't turn up?? Tried phoning on 9 separate occasions, line was busy every time. 🤷‍♀️

Our local favourite was closed so tried this place for the first time, Ordered at the counter at 8pm saw 9 sets of people come and go, person before us was told 20 min wait same as us, finally got our food at 8.50pm. Did get an apology but very disappointed with the food and the wait. Won't be back anytime soon.

Nice but pricey and they keep forgetting to put my order into the kitchen so when i get there I'm waiting double the time.

Very nice Chinese takeaway. Food is tasty. A bit more expensive than the competition but they have a hygiene rating of 5 so I don't mind paying a bit more. One star short of the 5 from me as you can order ahead by phone and pick up but they sometimes forget to pass your order through to the kitchen so you end up waiting anyway. Overall, great takeaway.

Lovely food, lovely staff, really fast, good price. Can't go wrong!
