This place is between fast food and restaurant food. It’s a bit cheaper than other Japanese restaurants but still quite expensive. We got noodles with salmon and pieces of salmon were small and the temperature of food was colder than we expected. Salmon sashimi was good, fish was fresh The most significant thing in this place is conveyor belt what makes you able to catch a dish you like to eat. Waiting and cooking stuff are very polite and kind.

Very nice and friendly staff!! Very good sushi!! Only sad the cheesecake was Out of stock 😭 Lovely atmosphère!! The chocolate mochi was tooo much chocolate for me, but the pancakes was very soft and light and perfect !! Not to sugary. Also the Sashimi was SOOO GOOD!! It melted in your mouth!!

Very disappointed today with Yosushi Belfast. I ordered the ramen which was not cooked chicken was only warm due to the warm broth and soft boiled egg was like mush. When asked if everything was ok i asked for a manager whom didn’t bother even coming to our table. Very disappointed and will not be back given paying over £70 for 2 people.

I really enjoyed my YO! Belfast last night. The staff were very helpful. The food was lovely; a great selection for a vegetarian and a vegan. The unlimited Miso soup was a real noveltyy. Would have been five stars except we had to input the order twice because the site lost our table number and the music was slightly odd. Really minor issues, we'll definitely be back! Was back in September 2024 and this time we ordered from the staff directly. Still very good.

lin-manuel miranda served 6 of us and staff were very accommodating. we had lots of water, wasabi and ginger. food was not disappointing at all but i've had better sushi before; the prices are sort of ridiculous but lin-manuel miranda made it worth it. atmosphere was skibidi, if a little too loud because of a particular young neurodivergent critter, but very good because of lin-manuel miranda. thanks lin-manuel miranda.

ordered collection for 7pm, arrived at 7 and was told to just wait for it. 25 minutes later when we enquired about the progress of our food the waitress shrugged and went and asked the chefs who had not even started preparing it. very bad service, would not recommend collecting at all as we did not receive the food until 7:30 pm

it's good but the chicken katsu curry definitely needs more curry. the rice makes the dish dry up quickly. wouldnt be a problem but ordering sauce on the side is unavailable. a lot of the dishes are unavailable too. this place needs better management.

Visiting from NZ where we regularly eat top quality sushi we made the trip from Coleraine yesterday for a sushi fix. The sole waitress took several minutes to seat us even though there were only about 4 other tables occupied. A quick look at what was on offer on the conveyer belt should have told us to go elsewhere - a pitiful selection of dishes spread meters apart on the belt. We elected to order off the menu - salmon top hits for my wife and I ordered the chicken yakisoba. Let's just say pictures can be misleading! The sushi arrived quite promptly- tiny pieces on a saucer more suited to holding a tea cup. We had to remind the waitress to bring the sparkling water that was ordered and she had to be reminded twice to bring the fork that my wife had requested. My dish eventually arrived as my wife was finishing her meal. Although it tasted OK it looked very different to the picture. I think the little cubes in the dish was the chicken? Overall a very disappointing (and over priced for what was provided) dining experience- one restaurant to be avoided!

The restaurant service is slow from being chronically understaffed. Every time I've been there's only one waitress who you can tell is overworked from having to serve all the customers and clean up after them - getting their attention for anything is impossible. Why remove the ability to order food from your phone if you aren't going to hire more staff? Half the menu is always out of stock, they haven't had any vegan meat substitutes in for ages. The straw that broke the camel's back was today when the only vegan option was chips and miso soup, I ordered one cup of miso soup to go from the order point and after waiting twenty minutes - because there was one server who forgot about the order - had to walk up to the chef who apologised and made it up. I've been disappointed too many times, not coming back or recommending it to friends.

Was extremely disappointed was YO! Sushi. Completely under staff. And was able to offer half their menu due to this. Nothing special, asked for ginger with my sushi to cleanse my taste buds but never got it. Selection of sushi was terrible. Won't be back... Better places to go then this place, took about 15-20 just to get sitting was literally about to walk out and go to boojums, before a chef noticed us and waited us to a table.

Not a great experience. They had roughly 10 plates floating around on the belt with a choice of no more than 3 different things. Not a lot of choice on the menu either (that they actually had in or could make!). couldn't make a handroll. Forgot to bring a Miso soup. Walked in and waited a few minutes but no-one greeted us so we sat ourselves down and started eating, then got told by the chef who served us that we should have waited by the door 🤣🙄. Poor experience. Shame this is the only yo in Ireland because not all franchises are this bad back in England.

What has happened to Yo Sushi? It used to be such a fun experience. Today is the second time I tried to eat there this week. On the first occasion I waited for five minutes in a half empty restaurant without at least being acknowledged so I left. Today I got seated immediately then had to wait 10 minutes for my order to be taken. Couldn’t take anything off the conveyor belt as I had no chop sticks, no soy sauce dish, no wasabi, no ginger. In any case there were only about 10 items on the conveyor belt sadly snaking through the restaurant. When my order came (3 items out of 5) I had to ask for chopsticks and soy sauce bowl and wasabi which the staff then had to go back to the kitchen and wash in front of me. Never got the other 2 items. Woeful.

With the prices they are charging there is no need to include any service charge and the staff certainly weren't deserving of it.

Absolutely pathetic service. Completely confused staff members. You have to ask 3-4 times for a simple thing. Will take 10 mims to give you a fork while 1 staff member will come & tell you that they will have to clean some forks for us then will give it. The staff member will come to you 3 times while you are eating to remind you to give the feedback through the tablet that they provide while you are in the middle of having food. Seriously training gaps! Would never visit again!

An absolute waste of time and money at this Yo Sushi branch. When I said this branch, I particularly mean this branch only. Never had such a bad experience in other Yo sushi branches. Service was absolutely slow and the quality was not up to Yo Sushi standard. Wait staffs lacked experience and knowledge on the food. Kitchen staffs were busy with their own lunch then sending food out to the table. Literally, 25 minutes for one fire cracker rice. 2 of the dishes didn’t even come to the table and after 40 minutes of waiting we decided to leave. Not the experience we were hoping for. The sushi was good and the best we have had in a while, but other than that I wouldn’t recommend visiting. We ordered 2 warm dishes (noodles and rice) of which on the noodles came. When we mentioned that we hadn’t received the food the waitress just said ok and removed it from the bill. No apology and very disinterested. The staff in the restaurant were all chilling and not putting effort in to serving the customers (other than one of the sushi chefs who helped us… props to him 🙌) with one waitress sitting down and eating on her phone for more than a hour, before going back into the kitchen to get more food (probably my fried rice that didn’t come… hahaha) Don’t think we will be returning!

What a dreadful experience. Booked a table for my son, wife and I last week as Yo Sushi has always been a favourite for my son who has Autism. Firstly we were left, with several other groups, standing in the door with no acknowledgement of our arrival. My wife finally lost her patience and walked down the restaurant to explain that we had arrived. A further 10 minutes went by while they cleared our table. After we sat down we could not get a member of staff to stop and take an order for drinks or the hot food, I was actively ignored on at least three occasions. My wife and son both made a choice from the belt, but for the entire time we sat there no fresh items were placed on it as the prep staff appeared to be concentrating on delivery orders. Couldn't get anyone to bring us wasabi or some cutlery as my son and wife can't use chopsticks. We decided to leave and strangely enough there was no issue getting someone to stop and take my money!!! No discount was offered. As a result my poor son had a panic attack and our day was ruined. I contacted their customer service and still haven't received a reply. Wish I could give zero stars!

This Yo restaurant always seems understaffed. Food is terribly presented and dubious given the seemingly lack of regard for food safety and quality. Service terrible as on entry staff don’t acknowledge your presence and once seated waitress looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to place an order. Been going to yo! For years now. Unfortunately in my opinion it's getting worse. We arrived Sunday at 1.45pm several people needing seats. One person seating people, taking orders and taking payments. One person was clearing tables slowly (seemed like a new person so understandable) This wasn't the problem. I don't mind waiting as the only person doing all the work was working hard to clear through each task. The food was lacking. No one in our party of 5 enjoyed it. Firm favourites we usually go for just seemed to lack taste and just didn't seem right. We ate what we ordered and a few things from the belt. We paid and all left hungry and unsatisfied. Which is unfortunate as we had been avoiding yo! For a year now and thought we'd give it another go. Others around us seemed to be eating enough though. It was busy with takeaway and orders so it must be fine for others just not us.

The concept of the establishment is cool and modern. The interior is nice, but that's about it, hence the 2-star rating, as everything else is dreadful. The sushi portions are tiny, and the price does not match the quality. We spent more money than usual on dinner, but none of us got full. Horrible experience. Disinterested staff, complicated ordering system and an app which didn't work. Food was mediocre and expensive for what it was. Waited an unnecessarily long time to be seated and couldn't order some items because the app malfunctioned. Couldn't get assistance because the place is understaffed, and even when the app was refreshed by the overworked staff, it still didn't work. Wouldn't recommend even though it is in a very convenient location. Definitely worth looking further afield for a better sushi experience.

Unfortunately it looks like things have gone down in yo. Most of the popular dishes weren't available- Ramen, Korean bbq,etc. Miso soup had no even a single bit of tofu. And the noodles I ordered were mediocre. The girl serving us did her best, no fault of hers but when you go out you want to be in a place that serves what you want from the menu, not just what's available.

Myself and my partner decided to give Yo Sushi a try whilst here in Belfast, as it didn’t look very busy (makes sense now!) we were told there would be no food on the belt as it’s late (3.5 hours before closing?) there were empty tables but we were sat at the bar, fine. The bar was absolutely filthy, food and sauce on the tables and menus we were given. When my partner politely asked the waitress if she could clean the table, she looked at us gone out. The spaces next to us were dirty, with empty plates and glasses piled up, this was the same for other empty spaces. The restaurant was not busy and there were plenty of staff standing around drinking and checking phones. I would strongly advise those considering dining here to avoid.

Ordered a mix of sushi and sashimi to collect along with some soy, ginger and wasabi. I collected it on time and when I got home I discovered that none of the soy, ginger or wasabi had been included. This is very frustrating as these are integral to eating sushi - so I called the restaurant to complain and I was offered a choice of making a twenty minute round trip to collect these items or to have them refunded (they were free). I told them that they could do far better as they effectively sold me an extremely bland meal. Added to this the food was very average - thin, limp sashimi and hastily prepared sushi that was just tossed in a cardboard box. I've had better experiences in the restaurant itself but the indifferent service and the refusal to take responsibility left me extremely underwhelmed. Also, it's overpriced - I won't be back.

Very, very little from menu available, paper copy given was entirely pointless, service incredibly slow and unhelpful. Beer (not brand ordered) was not brought out initially as "not cold, only just put in the fridge" only to be delivered 30 seconds later, warm, by the same staff member. Went here today with a friend and upon entry had to wait 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us,after this a waiter told us that he would' "grab" us a table and proceeded to ignore us. We eventually got someone to take us to our table however people that arrived after us a couple)got seated before us. The selection of foods they had were very small going around the belt and just the same stuff over and over. I ordered my main bowl and waited 15 minutes for it which would've been acceptable if the chefs were cooking instead of chatting majority of the time. it was near impossible to get someone's attention and my friend had to wait it was near impossible to get someone's attention and my friend had to wait 45 minutes for her bowl after being brushed off multiple times by workers. She asked several times and was told that they will check by people who never returned to US. Aside from one waiter with the blue hairnet the service was lacking. For a place meant to be self service we were there for around an hour and a half which is shocking. Don't visit if looking for a calm quick meal.

I had to ask a staff member to seat us after waiting 10 minutes with no success, he instead went to chat with a co-worker and did not provide us any service. After another 10 minutes of waiting and having to ask a different staff member, we were finally assigned to a table (only after people who arrived after us were seated!!). Food options on the conveyer belt were extremely limited and did not contain many of the items listed on the menu. I ordered a chicken katsu curry for my main course and it did not arrive after 30 minutes so I questioned the staff as to where it was and I was brushed off and was told it should come soon (It did not!!). After waiting another 20 minutes, I had to inform another staff member of the problem and he eventually sorted the issue and my main course arrived soon after. The same helpful member of staff who finally delivered my katsu curry had to inform the staff at the till to let me pay as he did not notice my presence. Overall, the staff were spending too much time chatting and not enough cooking!

If you look at other reviews I have done you will know that I do not score this low regularly. Not only is this restaurant disorganized and way overpriced (£5 for two very small and shoddily made nigiri as an example), pretty sure that a sushi chef rolling cigarettes at his workstation is a health code violation. Really had high hopes as I love conveyor belt sushi restaurants, but please STEER CLEAR OF THIS ONE

We booked a table online, and when we arrived we were informed that the prep person had called in sick for the day, and they were running a reduced menu. The entire store was empty. Fine, these things happen.. we ordered some hot food and took a couple of plates off of the carousel. We waited around 15-20 minutes for our hot food, before one of the staff members came and askes us if we were ok, we told them we were waiting on hot food. Eventually the food came, the gyoza's were overdone, and the curry sauce was runny like water. The biggest let down for us was that there was no edamame being served. Im no sushitologist, but i dont think its too hard to throw some frozen edamame into a hotpot for a bit, but what do I know. The staff member who served us was lovely and helpful. We were really excited about having sushi, but honestly it was a massive let down. If the prep guy has called in sick, go somewhere else

Got the food from them 2x via uber eats. First order got no soy sauce for sushi. It is standard to include sauce for every sushi place all over europe. OK, maybe my bad. Gave it second shot Today. Ordered 3x maki + 3x soy sauce to be sure. It took them ages to prepare and in bag I have only 2 maki, but 5 packs of sauce. **ck them!

We normally love Yo Sushi in all their locations but this one wasn't very good. The Sushi on the belt seemed to be only a few kinds of the same things. It was mushy rice on anything we had and not great quality. We only got offered ginger and Wasabi halfway through our lunch. We saw pre-made rolls being used which is probably the reason for the mushy rice. Not a great visual experience today as the restaurant wasn't very busy everything seemed untidy. Just disappointed today.

Place looks dodgy from outside and you would think it was somewhere that they may harvest your organs, however, it says under new management and food was pretty good, my son liked the salty chilli chicken, fried rice was good to. Price was around £8 for each item, but prices I think are fairly similar to others. Got loads of chips with each item ordered that includes them. Happy to go back again.
