Really great food. Wonderful service. Great little place! It really is lovely for families, as it’s open early and also great as a couple.

This was the first time any of us (we were a party of four adults) had visited this restaurant. The initial welcome from the member of staff we spoke with was fine and the excellent level of service continued throughout the meal from herself and her colleague. The food was amazing, very well textured and flavoured. We were all delighted with our experience and will definitely return!

Had a Takeaway and was disappointed. The meals were very watery and not that tasty. In addition, one of the meals was supposed to be mild but was very spicy. Prices on the website were out of date and actual price charged was over 20% more. They need to update their website. A shame as we were looking forward to it.

Telephoned order for a takeaway. The phone rang forever before being answered. Given a time to collect but had to wait an additional 10+ mins before it was ready. They did deduct the discount for takeaway, but their website page menu is way out if date, so expect to pay at least £1.50 per dish more. The food was mediocre, but the worst item was the starters of vegetables in batter. Clearly cooked hours or even longer before and kept warm in oven. Not fit to eat. Will not be going there again.

I visited the Thai Village with a friend. We had a set menu, which was amazing value for money. The food was delicious. Our wine was nice quality (not much choice on the red if you want just one glass). Very attentive service. Plenty of parking outside. Would definitely like to go back.

Wow, what a find. Off the beaten track but amazing, intimate restaurant with pub next door. Food was authentic, fresh and as spicy as u like. Crab cakes were homemade and delicious. Duck and seafood dishes were plenty for two to share, mixed veg was clearly prepared in house too. Overall, great experience and will certainly be back soon. Worth booking as filled up quickly.

We turned up in speck on a Friday night and got the last small table. We ordered a red Thai curry with Jasmin rice and a sizzling chicken dish and shared them beteeen two. Complimentary prawn crackers served. We enjoyed the meal and service was fine. Only comment is the lighting is far too bright so the place lacks atmosphere . We will go again.

We have eaten at so many restaurants around the world and never experienced such terrible customer service. We arrived on the off chance but were told there was a table free. We were given the food menu but no drinks menu, having enquired about which drinks were available, we were greeted with a very blank face, no knowledge of the drinks or whether they even served Singha beer! Anyway we ordered from the menu and got our young children settled. 10 minutes later we were then informed our table was required and we would have to leave! The children were very disappointed but we politely asked if we could take the food home. No apologies from the waitress or understanding of the embarrassing situation and to have to explain to the children we had to leave. Our drinks were then served, incorrectly! I said I would not be paying for drinks as had no time to even drink them and she said we could wait in the bar and indeed let our food go cold! She said there was nothing she could do and was not her fault! At the least I would have expected was an apology for the situation and something offered to make us feel welcome again. Eventually when I asked again she reduced the bill by £4! Still no apology and we left. Just the most terrible service I have ever experienced which totally lets the restaurant down! We will not be returning!

The starters were fine. The beef Penang was good. The pad Thai was really tasteless and bland. I’d ordered it with tofu - they’d run out! I complained to the young waitress who told the chef- he would not come out to speak to us. I said it was the worst Pad Thai I had ever encountered. Very disappointing, it’s the stable dish of Thailand - how do they fail on that?

Food wasn't of great quality. Starter platter ok, but most of main meal bland and some dishes served incorrectly. Tom Yum soup tasted like spicy water, no flavour whatsoever. Green curry lacked basic flavours that make a green curry! I can make a much better green curry myself! Pad thai was not paid thai, basically just noodles with a few vegetables thrown in. Service was the most frustrating, staff did not seem to know or care what they were doing. We complained about our meal (once we had managed to get the attention of the waiting staff), but the reaction appeared to be to disappear to the kitchen/back of house and ignore us until we left! Would not recommend wasting your time and money here.

Visited last night for dinner. Food good as ever.... however the service staff were awful. No attention to detail, no checking on our table, no understanding of the menu or Thai food, no knowledge of wines on the list (didn’t even seat us with a wine list)or the difference between draft and bottled beers. This place used to have great Thai staff, who, as you’d expect knew the menu and also had a great service culture.. Please, please - employ the right front of house staff.. drop the tapping acrylic nails and checking on phones during service staff... this place is a rough diamond that needs polishing back to its former glory...

Popped in for a meal as basically this is the only place open after 7pm in Melbourne on a Sunday. Very pleasantly surprised. Had a delicious meal and service was excellent. If we stay in the area again, we will return.

Totally unexpected to find this place...nut be aware it is small so you may not get a table. plenty of choices to be had to suit all tastes. Staff polite and food is well presented...you will find it difficult to fault. BE AWARE THEY ONLY...
