Yamas Greek Bistro in Trafford

I have been to Yamas 3 times now, and each time I have really enjoyed. Prices are very reasonable for large delicious plates! My favourite starter is the Creta Cheese! Give this local restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed.

We booked in on a Friday night and it was a great experience very clean restaurant great waitresses amazing food and reasonable prices easily a 10 🤌

Amazing food, wine and service. The waitress was more than happy to wait 10 minutes for us to stop chatting before ordering & then willingly agreed to serve a choice of starters immediately & then the rest as a main course. Everything we ordered was delicious and there was no rush to vacate the table which was nice. I highly recommend Yamas & can’t wait to visit again.

Came here with my friends and I ordered the vegan pasta and it was honestly delicious! Probably the nicest pasta I’ve had! I know it’s not typical “greek food” so I can’t comment much! However, my friends seemed to enjoy their food too. The interior was lovely and staff friendly. Only issue is that I wish staff could’ve been a bit more flexible and customise orders on one of my friends! But overall great!

2nd time visiting but was disappointed this time. Young waitresses were friendly but the food wasn’t great (chicken souvlaki). We weren’t asked if wanted rice or chips with the meals, they didn’t seem to know the menu very well. There were quite a few flies buzzing around, I think they need to sort that out. There was a man sat at the bar with his head down asleep but they did eventually wake him and he left. Felt like an odd atmosphere as hardly anyone in and that was very odd. Won’t be back.

Service was ok and food was horrible. I don’t think I’ll be going back. I ordered halloumi for starter and in every other restaurant I’ve ordered it it came with salad so I was surprised that I just got a plate of cheese on its own. Maybe this is normal and I shouldn’t be surprised but every other place has put it with salad or something so I was disappointed to just have halloumi on its own as it’s not an interesting course once you’re halfway through if there’s nothing else with it. I ordered moussaka for a main course and it just wasn’t very good at all. I can honestly say that I’ve eaten moussaka a lot in Greece and the UK but the Tesco own brand ready meal is genuinely better than what I ate at this restaurant. I ordered a chocolate cake for dessert and was given something that seemed like a poor quality frozen dessert you’d buy from Aldi and I couldn’t finish it. Not impressed at all.

My daughter-in-law and I Had such a delicious lunch here and staff were lovely.She has been before but it was my first visit and will definitely be going back!

Not good. Food mega salty and of a mixed temperature some warm some cold. Didn’t eat much of it and left most of two pints of Heineken which didn’t taste right but wanted to get out rather than making a complaint. Sound system like a night club but blaring out phil Collins and Boney M so loud it made the table reverberate. We received an apology for the food but that was it. Just paid and got out. Very surreal experience

Tried this new Sale restaurant and everyone was happy with the food, Service and ambiance. One of the best in Manchester, with authentic and tasty Greek food.

Yamas is a Greek restaurant with a 70’s chic vibe to it. Great food at reasonable prices served by Silvia and co. Recommended!

Food was actually ok and plentiful if not a bit odd ie. ingredient wise. Nice bright modern clean decor inside.My biggest gripe was a group of about 4 males I assume chefs/ owners constantly going for a smoke at the entrance with (fully open doors) causing a stream of cigarette smoke wafting in,surely you just move away a little.This has been mentioned previously so seems to be a regular occurrence.Dont think we'll be going again.

Strange atmosphere with the owners sat at the bar watching what was going on! Waitress struggled to understand us but did her best, couldn’t tell from Menu what food was so had to make a lucky guess! food served cold, and missing items from menu (rice and sauces) which we had to ask for, chicken was dry, just very disappointing.

Absolutely fantastic as always! The atmosphere was fabulous and staff was so friendly. All as all simply wonderful - plus the food was superb!!! For sure the best greek place to visit in Manchester!!!!!!!
