We had an amazing evening at Deptford Winemakers last night. Great wine list with really interesting choices available by the glass - I loved my glass of orange wine. The food was excellent and almost everything was gluten free. Lots of lovely small plates and an amazing chocolate nemesis for pudding. Lovely decor with a beautiful old bar. Will definitely be coming back !

We were really excited to go to Winemakers, having seen the wine list on their website advertising an amazing selection of fine wines at prices that appeared too good to be true. Unfortunately, it was too good to be true: instead, we were told that the wine list on the website is a bit out of date and were instead shown a completely different range of wines (at entirely different price points). It was essentially a different bar - although there were quirky wines that might have appealed, it was worlds away from what their misleading website had promised. Don’t waste your time if that is what you’re hoping for. They avoided a 1-star review only because Toby, the waiter who single-handedly entertained the whole bar, was very helpful and knowledgable about the wines that they did have.

We've lived in Deptford for 3 years and this is one of our favourite bars. The wine selection is incredible and the staff are always fantastic. I love the feel of the bar, its cosy but cool if that makes any sense? We finally tried the food in August and were not disappointed. Will be back soon!

My boyfriend and I stumbled across this wonderful place this evening and we are so happy we did. Given post-COVID it was wonderful to see a sweet and cosy place open. Staff was helpful and One of the best Ratatouille I have honestly ever had. Although a reduced menu was wonderful and so reasonably priced. Definitely will go back

We were warmly invited into this little delightful gem of a wine bar. Wines were explained and we felt comfortable enjoying our really excellent choices. We decided to eat and again the menu was explained, I’m a foodie but many parts of the menu were new to me. Food was exciting and divine in texture, taste and freshness. I love the small plate idea almost like a eclectic form of tapas. When the bill came I was amazed at the price (would have paid more). A perfect little bolt hole.

Great place to grab a glass of wine! Absolutely arrogant customer service. I am not sure if it was the owner but definitely a person to avoid. Zero customer service and full of arrogance. Avoid at all cost

As a local resident, I am thrilled to have this gorgeous little place on my doorstep. Every single time I have been in here has been delightful. I love the conversations with the sommelier and though his recommendations, have enjoyed some exquisite wines here. The food is 10/10 too.

We were invited to lunch at Winemakers which was our Christmas present from our nephew and his fiancé. Arriving 20 minutes early we sat in the empty restaurant to be told that their wine list was somewhat limited as they had missed their wine delivery earlier in the week and they were out sparkling water, oh! well hey ho I thought. The lunch menu was limited which made easy to choose, I settled for the salted beef & chips which was delicious as was my dessert, buttermilk pudding & Yorkshire rhubarb and in fact the whole meal was very good indeed as was the wine we choose from Friuli.

A restaurant that reveres food - it exists so that you can eat well and we certainly did that. The dishes were all absolutely delicious and arrived as they were ready - I love that anarchic way of eating - you get stuff when it's at its peak. The staff are really lovely and maintained an admirable level of serenity on a crazily bustling Saturday night. We were the last to leave but didn't feel at all hassled - au contraire!

My partner and I stumbled across Winemakers online and took a chance on it to go for my birthday last year. We were stunned- the food was amazing, wine even better and the service is the perfect amount of relaxed, friendly and unpretentious. We now come here whenever we want to have a particularly celebratory meal.

friendly welcome (very understanding about our change of number only the day before) and quickly shown to a shared table with two other couples. The crab balls not to be missed - soft in the middle and crunchy outside. Shellfish stew superb and Lincolnshire Poacher souffle smelled so heavenly just had to try it. Too full for puddings so the £2 scoop home made ice cream really appreciated.

Booked over the phone we ended up sharing a table with 2 other couples with no warning. We were not expecting the Wagamama treatment. The ham with pickled fennel was good though the cuttlefish stew had only 5 tiny strips of cuttlefish,,, What is really shoddy comes with the presentation. Uncomfortable bentwood chairs (mine had sellotape), filthy toilet seat and toilet door (reported with no apology or effort to clean), and finally a refusal to accept that the wine needed to be decanted. A pathetic "we don't have the capacity" is unacceptable when you charge a minimum of £30 a bottle. Avoid this arrogant hyped up establishment.

I ordered 2 hours before my chosen delivery time yesterday. The order was 25 minutes late. The pancake rolls were lacking in flavour although still enjoyable, perhaps seasoning? My curry was like water and not enjoyable and lacking in flavour. Overall I was disappointed as normally it’s great food. Perhaps they have a new chef. I will now think twice about ordering again which is a shame as was the better takeaway in my area.

Just Eat order 1747970481. Tuna looks like 3 days old out of the fridge! Disgusting! I called to complain, they ask an email which I send and when I called again the man whom answer the phone very dismissive, he retains that fresh tuna is grey color!. Is like people are idiots and need to get food poisoning after we tasted and was not fresh! Ask yourself if you go to a fishmonger or supermarket will you pick a grey color tuna? Keep that attitude and you will close very soon, as no one will buy from you! Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!
