This was an absolutely FANTASTIC experience. Adrian was so knowledgeable and made sure everyone was put at ease, particularly those of us who knew very little or nothing about wine tasting. To taste so many different wines correctly, made me think twice about what to choose going forward, and not to think that cheap is best. You only get what you pay for and these wines are among the best I have tasted. It was a 5 hour experience which I would certainly do again. There was time to write notes and a follow up email to confirm what the costings were and what the wines were. There was no pressure selling at all but I will be looking to purchase from Wine Unearthed. I would certainly recommend anyone who loves wine to attend one of these functions, and those who are perhaps not a big fan, to attend too because you might just learn something very interesting.

Great experience and a thoroughly enjoyable day of drinking good wine and learning about it too! Adrian was really engaging and made all the wine approachable.

I attended the Liverpool event with my husband and we had a fantastic day. Adrian was very informative but made it fun and we had a lovely three course meal at lunch time. I learned a lot about wine and surprised myself with wines I thought I didn't like. I would highly recommend this wine tasting course, fab day.

WINE UNEARTHED - LIVERPOOL I first attended a Vine to wine tasting day in January 2019 with my sister. This particular tasting was tailored and vegan friendly. We had a great day learning bout the 15 different wines followed by a port with the host Adrian who is extremely knowledgeable . I then returned in November 2019 for another wine tasting, This time with a group of friends we attended the World of Wine tasting. Which was every bit as enjoyable as the first tasting. I attended for a third time in March 2020... Vine to wine tasting day (this time not tailored to vegans) me and my sister enjoyed the day as always. No tasting has been the same Adrian is an amazing host with a very impressive knowledge of all the wines on offer. The day itself is very informative yet not pretentious Adrian makes it really fun. The tastings tend to have a varied age range. I would Highly recommend attending a tasting course it is an unforgettable day out, one in which I will most definitely be repeating for a 4th time. The tastings are excellent value for money, Adrian hand picks a great selection of 15 quality wines for the day which includes a wonderful 3 course meal and a further 3 wines to accompany your lunch. The venue for the Liverpool wine tasting was at the Radisson which was a lovely hotel including a very delicious 3 course meal with wine pairing. That in itself was worth the visit. Adrian, the host, made the day extremely fun. What he doesn't know about wine isn't worth knowing. Six white wines were sampled in the morning with six red in the afternoon. All the wines tasted were of an excellent quality with me preferring the white whilst my husband preferring the red. The day was extremely enjoyable and a great present for those that enjoy a tipple.

Wine Unearthed - Liverpool (8th July 2017) I had previously been on a couple of Wine Unearthed workshops, one with a friend and one on a stag do, and had thoroughly enjoyed each day. With this in mind, my wife and daughter bought me a voucher for Christmas and they couldn't have chosen any better. It was for a World Of Wine One Day Workshop in Liverpool at the Radisson SAS Hotel. I attended with the same friend as the first time, and we had yet another great day. Adrian is knowledgeable, and very easy to listen to and engage with. The day was very enjoyable, with 15 great wines, a lovely lunch and friendly company. I would have no hesitation in returning yet again.

A really entertaining and informative day! I've been buying wine for years based on whether or not I like the label but now I am confident I'm on the road to becoming much more discerning! If you know someone who enjoys the odd glass this 'vine to wine' experience makes a great gift.

A fantastic day throughout! Adrian created a relaxed and informal atmosphere from the start. The participants were drawn in by his knowledge and expertise which was delivered in a humorous and engaging manner. The event is suitable for all levels of experience, with great wines of varying grapes and price tags to taste. Lunch was excellent (with more wine!!) Adrian was a terrific host and a born raconteur! A point of note, he allowed me to push back the date of our tasting a couple of times for personal reasons, well beyond the date of voucher expiry. This was a much appreciated gesture and I’m sure one that wouldn’t have been offered at many other companies. The wines tasted on the actual day ranged from decent to fantastic and Adrian’s informative and entertaining style really helped us to appreciate their nuances. The big reds after lunch were the highlights for me, along with the discovery of delicious white port, but I enjoyed them all and the tasting process. Certainly not a stuffy corporate style event, Adrian’s ability to talk naturally and fluidly about any aspect of wine, including answering a variety of questions, really elevated the event above the typical, scripted, wine tasting experience. Recommended.

Adrian was a fantastic host; incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole day interesting! We were made to feel at ease from the beginning and although our notes may have trailed off a little towards the end... we have thoroughly enjoyed putting what we learnt into practice. Would highly recommend

Fantastic day from the moment we got to the hotel , Adrian was superb what he doesn't know about wine isn't worth knowing , very informative and funny with it , the wines were very good as was the 3 course lunch which we had 3 wines with , glad we went on the train though as we were well over the limit 😁 . No questions were unanswered by Adrian who seemed to know what ever people asked him , all in all a fantastic day so much so were going to another of wine unearthed days out

Another fantastic trip to the World of Wine day in Liverpool. This was my 4th time attending and every time the wine is different but Adrian's enthusiasm for the love of wine is always the same. Hopefully visiting again in 2018!

We have been to both from vine to wine and world of wines at liverpool, and both times we have had a lot of fun. The events are very informative and we learned a lot interesting stuff. The wines were great and we look forward to the next one. The 3 course lunch included in the Liverpool one was also very nice and we highly recommend it.

Bought this for my husband as a birthday present. We had a great day from beginning to end... Adrian was a great host and made it very enjoyable. We met some lovely people and had a very substantial 3 course meal. We now buy some different wines to our `normal' choice and opened our eyes to what is available and the different terminology. Well worth it!

My partner and I were given this as a Christmas present and thoroughly enjoyed it. Adrian was very personable and knowledgeable. We met some great people, learnt a lot and the wine and meal were lovely. We have just purchased this as a gift for another couple for Christmas!

We had a fantastic day - the wines were carefully selected to illustrate the different grapes and styles, the white port was a revelation and Adrian's knowledge was superb ! I would recommend to anyone considering signing up for future events

This course was interesting and informative for someone who knew nothing about wine. I am sure that with all my NEW knowledge, it will make wine drinking even more special in the future. We were bought this as a gift from our children and they couldn't have chosen better! We had a wonderful day- not only was Adrian easy to listen to- boy he knew his stuff!! I learned a lot from the day- in an interesting way, which was easy to understand. As a life-long red wine person, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually like white wine too! I obviously hadn't tried the right ones before. All in all the day was a huge success- good company, excellent wines and a very nice way to spend a Saturday! Would definitely recommend the day to all!

Another great day. Had previously been to one in Oxford by the same company. Good to see that the format was similar but not exactly the same and the wines were different. Presenters have their own style and make it their own. Always quality locations - this one overlooking the Mersey. White wines in the morning, reds in the afternoon and good quality meal with matched wines. Fun as well as informative and always easy to speak to everyone else there even if you go on your own. I found that the second event reinforced rather than duplicated what I had learned from the first. Also, not a bad wine among them!

A really enjoyable day and great way to learn about wines with an opportunity to find my favourites (and not so favourites!). The day was broken down with a lovely three course lunch, with matched wines and went far too quickly! A great Christmas present that can be enjoyed by small and large groups alike and the workbooks have come in useful when shopping for wine since. I would sincerely recommend this.

I received a Wine Unearthed gift voucher as a Christmas present (for two people!) and we attended the recent event in Liverpool. We were a little nervous and unsure what to expect as we are certainly not wine connoisseurs just a couple who enjoy drinking wine! Our host Adrian was most welcoming and soon presented us with our first wine. We sampled this and 14 other wines during the course of the day together with a three course lunch. We were taught how to improve our wine drinking experience and certainly came away with more appreciation of wine. We would certainly recommend the day to anyone be it wine buff or novice. We had a great day.

We had a brilliant day and as well enjoying the wine it was great to feel your passion for the subject and this transferred to all the group which allowed us all to participate in the day fully ,it was also excellent to gain some knowledge of wines and how they are nurtured to get there unique flavours As you said on the day even if you don't particularly like a wine at least you understand why now and that is as helpful as understanding why you do like some others. Although the wine we tasted was excellent and i enjoyed them all This was a Christmas present to me from Pam and ranks as one of the best presents ever given to me and would recommend it to anybody who enjoys wine

The day started of great at an amazing location, we even had complimentary tea and coffee as we arrived early. We all went into the tasting suite and sat around our tables, there were quite a few of us which made it a great atmosphere. With regards to the overall day, the wine was amazing and the host is a genius on the wine we had. Every question, silly or not, he knew the answer to and even went as far as developing a story to help everyone remember each fact. In total we had 15 wines, which was a mixture of red, white and rose, throughout the day. For our lunch we all had an amazing three course meal that our host even matched three perfect wines for. The dessert wine on its own was too sweet, but when I asked the host about it he said take a spoonful of the pudding then drink it. Again he was 100% correct. The wine just melted on the tongue with the perfect amount of sweetness to match the dessert. I will definitely recommend a course of wine tasting to anyone wanting to have a great experience or to just even taste some great wines. Well worth the money and great use of a day.
