Willie Wastle's in South Ayrshire

My friend and I went here for lunch today. Didn't find the reception we got from staff member very welcoming. We ordered drinks and our food. After waiting 30 minutes we asked when we would get our food. We were told that they had run out chicken and had to go to the butchers to purchase more. I found this strange because of the amount of chicken choices on the menu. After 45min we got our food which was okay. We felt that after the wait we should have got some discount which we mentioned to staff. However when the bill came it was the full price which we paid. Won't be back here.

Lovely lunch today. Very pleasant and helpful staff. One of our party is a coeliac and staff were very knowledgeable. Great deal with 2 for 1 on all food.

Popped in for lunch while out shopping. Food was ok. Steak pie was a bit dry. Told me no heating etc as boiler was not working as still waiting to be sorted and had been a few days. Went to toilet. Washed hands in cold water then the hand dryers were faulty. Was looking forward to a good lunch in some heat due to wet windy weather but was not happening. Sadly be a while till I'm back if at all. Have to say the service of the staff was great. Very cheerful and informative .

Regularmente visitamos este pub/restaurante excelente relación calidad-precio, pero siempre me sentí un poco ajetreado. Que ahora se mudó a unas puertas del Sandgate al sitio de la cruz de malta. Ahora es incluso mejor! Todas las comidas son todavía compre uno y llévese GRATIS y son incluso más deliciosos. Los dos tuvimos un plato principal y dos bebidas cada uno (vino y cerveza) en relación calidad-precio increíble de 22 libras. Recomiendo encarecidamente pero recuerde reservar para los fines de semana.

went here for my boyfriends birthday at the weekend, never been so let down, usually the food is nice! we sat for a while waiting on our food, while a couple who came in 20 minutes later after we had ordered, they got their meal first as the were one of waitress family members, when we received our meal the gravy of the steak pie was cold, and had a skin over it, with no heat at all in any of our meals, sad to be writing this, none of us were pleased atall

Been here a few times now, never been let down yet. Can be a bit busy at lunchtime.....that alone tells you it's a good eatery.
