Ignore all the old reviews found here, this pub has been completely revitalised, restored and improved under new management. Very friendly staff, great beers, this is now a fantastic place to get a pint.

For most Charlton and Woolwich locals this was once a place that we crossed the road to avoid so it is a pleasant surprise that it has been totally revamped and is now in new hands with a management very far removed from its EDL past. The place has been scrubbed clean, redesigned and made to feel like somewhere that wants to be a real part of the community. If I were the owner, to be honest, I would suggest these past reviews are removed because they give a totally false impression of what this place is like now. Growing selection of drinks, a decent menu including Sunday roasts and very friendly, young staff. I stumbled upon it by accident but will definitely be going back again regularly when lockdown is over.

¡Qué gran café! Me gusta mucho la decoración contemporánea. que te atienden Illy es café (delicioso!) y la comida (llevar y sentarse-en) muy bueno. El personal es amable y mantener un alto nivel de limpieza. Está muy bien situado junto a la estación de tren de Charlton. Perfecto para gente (me!) y los visitantes. Mi marido y yo hemos disfrutado fáciles brunches y Comunicación cafés aquí. lugar muy agradable.

Unit 6, Mellish Estate, London SE18 5NR, United KingdomOne of the best cafes I’ve ever been to. Not just best in a climbing centre. The food is incredible, great coffee and all the team working there are friendly. Even if you’re not into indoor rock climbing, I highly recommend stopping in to the Crag Snacks cafe on the first floor of the Reach climbing centre.

Greenwich MarketBeen in the UK for three weeks. Ideal Espresso in Greenwich Markets by far and above the best coffee in the UK. Friendly staff, poetry in motion. Great way to energise before venturing into the market.

7 Pound PlaceWhat a little gem of a cafe Maggie is French with a wonderful accent (and she tested me! Lol) but is multi lingual and one of the friendliest people you will find in a restaurant Maggie knew all the customers that came in whilst I was there, and they mostly Knew each other too! Such a change from the normal hurry up and order and get it put in front of you as quick as possible restaurants My first but not last visit, and glad my breakfast partner was running late so I could stay longer Looking forward to returning often as I think you will too! Keep up the good work Maggie 🥀
