Good selection of 'lighter meals' - hot and cold. Pleasant and helpful staff. No inside seating but loudspeaker to announce ready food for those sitting a bit further away. Plenty of picnic tables nearby with a nice view over the lake. No shelter as such though and unsure where the nearest loos are.

We are very regular users of the tea hut for coffee and cake while dog walking in the park. A visit to the tea hut for an ice cream is also a treat for my 101 year old mother. Jenny and Tammy give friendly all year round service with a smile. They were particularly appreciated during all the Covid restrictions over the last 2 years.

Visited on Saturday 14th to see the bluebells but unfortunately left it to late. However, the icing on the cake is when we come across the tea hut. Very professional and helpful staff with big smiles, had a lovely bacon sandwich then went for a lemon drizzzle cake with a cappuccino and could not resist having one of their wonderful ice creams. Good selection of sandwiches and cakes. Will definitely come back as we had such a good time in the park feeding the ducks and of course visiting the tea hut which is good value for money.

Went for a walk with the family around the lakes and through the forest…. Every square inch was covered in wild bluebells. Pleasantly surprised to come across the Tea Hut and stopped for food, ice cream and drinks - the service, prices and staff were great and they made an already great day out even better! We will definitely be going back soon

Discovered this eaterie by chance, so decided to go in & give it a try… Firstly you will go in & you will see it’s called the “Canopy” this is a joint business venture I’m guessing as the back with the seating area for sheesha n of course you can grab to eat there from the RMT menu. We ordered the mix platter for 2, a bargain n you get lot for a £20, honestly the food was a satisfactorily 10/10, the flavours n the tendernesss n the service from the guys on top! I will certainly no doubt go there again, recommended for sure👊🏾💯
