Viet Rice Box in Wigan

I visited Viet rice box whilst it was in leigh Town centre for an event. I have to say that food was beyond good!! Not only that, the staff who ran the food stall were absolutely brilliant! I will be going to their usual location in Birchwood to enjoy more of this amazing food.

Genuinely some of the best food I’ve ever had the joy of eating, amazing and soul warming dishes complimented by sensational service. Incredible tasty and inclusive vegetarian food with reassuring words from the staff. You owe it to yourself to try this food! Me and girlfriend love it here a must go

Tasty but poor value for money. Both meat dishes I ordered had a TINY amount of meat. The Vietnamese chicken broth was more than £7 and had 3 tiny pieces of shredded chicken floating in it (all the rest was noodles). Collected a braised pork dish for my partner yesterday and it had TWO small cubes of pork belly in the whole tray. Vietnam Rice Box- you are massively overcharging for your portion sizes, flavours are good but you also need to provide value for money!

Called at the pop up shop today, had chargrilled chicken with rice and lemongrass and no word of a lie - best meal I've ever had from a trailer! Absolutely scrumptious. Staff were lovely, let us test the food and recommended sauces. Will be looking out for them next time! Thank you!

I had the Lemongrass Chicken from the stall outside Birchwood Shopping Centre and it's absolutely delicious and filling, and the two people working the stand were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be going back for more.

What a fantastic meal! It was so tasty and full of high quality ingredients! I had the 'special noodles Pho with chicken and beef' 100% recommend.

Fantastic meal from Viet Rice Box, the lemongrass chicken was delicious and packed with flavour. Would absolutely recommend anybody to try the food from here. Easy to collect from the collection point, very efficient service.

I loved the food. I ordered a couple of weeks back by phone. I ordered the chicken bao bun and the pork belly rice box. The bao bun was light and flavourful. The pork belly melted in my mouth. I loved it! I would highly recommend it.

First time to order, food was lovely fresh and very authentic . Would have like slightly more meat but this didn’t spoil my meal . Delivery was on time and the overall service was outstanding. Will definitely order again .

Amazing! We ordered a few things to try it out and all were great, lemongrass chicken bun, egg roll, summer roll & mango salad. Tastes authentic, just like in Vietnam. Service was great and all packaged well. Will be ordering again! 🧧

As we are going travelling around South East Asia, we wanted to try Vietnamese food before going as we've never had it before. From the lovely lady who delivered, to the amazing food, it was first class. We had the summer rolls, beef pho and caramelised pork which was all very fresh and very tasty. We will be ordering again!

We were so excited to find a place selling authentic Vietnamese food that we decided to place an order for a good friend's birthday party. The guests and ourselves were really impressed with the flavours, quality and freshness of the food- the kids chomped it all down too. Loved the compostable and eco packaging. Martin was a joy to deal with when I placed the order, came down himself to deliver (we were not super close either), and I could really get a sense of how passionate this small business is. Exceeded our expectations and will definitely be telling others about Viet Rice Box. Thanks for making our friend's birthday memorable!

Our first time trying Viet rice box this Friday evening. From the ordering process to home delivery and meeting owner Martin it was a breeze and pleasure ☺️🙏🏻. The food packaging was amazing quality and all eco friendly. We ordered :- Mango salad, summer rolls and bao bun for starters Caramelised braised pork and rice Lemongrass chicken and rice We really enjoyed all dishes, but the summer rolls and dips were quite exceptional. I couldn't have asked for a better first experience with Vietnamese food and culture. There's nowhere else like this locally, and there's nowhere else I would go now if there were. It's not just great food, it's feeling the passion that has gone into making it firsthand. These people are really devoted to their craft and I'm not used to experiencing that. There is no more earnest a takeaway in Leigh or Wigan, or the surrounding area.

The only vegan option at Croft Carnival… but why would you pick anything else? Delicious spicy tofu, quickly offered noodles as an alternative to rice when the carnival generators cut out! Thanks for amazing food and great service.

Best Vietnamese food in the area!

First time ordering from Viet Rice Box and I have to say, I was so thoroughly impressed that I jumped straight on here to sing their praises! The freshness of the ingredients combined with the amazing mixture of flavours made for a meal which blew me away. The unique flavours are what really set this place apart from others - I could taste the authenticity and care put into each dish. We also had a small issue regarding the delivery address, so we rang up and they were really helpful. So happy to have a place like this in Leigh! I will be returning (often) :)

Best take away in Leigh by a country mile. Incredible food and great service. Had the summer rolls, mango salad, Pho and braised pork. All fresh, clean and tasty as Vietnamese food should be. Summer rolls, accompanying dips and mango salad some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. Pho and pork dishes filling and delicious. Lovely personal touches on packaging. Highly recommend.

2nd time ordering from here, it’s perfect for those nights when you don’t want to cook but also don’t want anything greasy and heavy. We had the rice dishes (lemongrass chicken /Ga Nuong Xa & caramelised pork/ Thit Kho Tau with steamed rice and the side salad) the bao buns ( again with pork and chicken ) and it was delicious, highly recommend and will definitely order again !

Just ordered a takeaway from here for the first time and the food was absolutely delicious. I’m new to the area and have been struggling to find a great takeaway. This place is my new favourite! Super friendly on the phone and the food is genuinely excellent. Will be a regular customer!

First time trying this cuisine so I didn’t know what to expect. I was blown away with how good everything was. The delivery driver was very kind. The packaging of the food was very good and eco friendly. The food was amazing the pork was so tender and flavoursome as well as the lemon grass chicken. The bao bun has to be the best I have ever had. Will definitely be ordering again my new go to takeaway.

We have just had our first Vietnamese takeaway from Vietricebox from leigh. And i can say that i have never tasted food as nice from a takeaway . The flavours were outstanding and the delivery service was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this takeaway .
