Very Nice in Lewisham

We had wanted to celebrate a family occasion along with Chinese New Year. Unfortunately, we were disappointed that the food order did not arrive in the 30-40 mins advised over the phone on booking (at 6.30pm plus 5 min wait on hold just to speak to someone). Just Eat also miadvised on the timelines for delivery by well over 20-40 minutes. There was no notification or updates of delays and when I finally got through on phone at 8pm - when order was over an hour late - I was casually told that the order would be ready in 5 mins '- just to send out for delivery. In other words, it wasn't even on its way yet! I cancelled and ordered with another restaurant. This order was fortunately delivered 20 mins early and £10 cheaper! Food looked lovely at Very Nice and reviews were great but shame about the customer service we received on this occasion. Hope to try it another time - maybe when they're not so busy - but we probably won't risk it for a takeaway.

Comida increíblemente repugnante. Pedido el 10/06/20. Demasiado salado como loco para enmascarar el sabor de los ingredientes podridos. El pollo con frijoles negros venía como una papilla, las verduras se habían borrado al hervirlas en exceso o, más probablemente, se habían mantenido calientes durante días esperando para venderse. Pato crujiente también blando y graso con muy poco que desear. Comí el 20% de mi pedido y deseché el resto. Al día siguiente estoy vomitando furiosamente, ingresado en el hospital el 06/12/20 cuando los calambres estomacales y los vómitos empeoraban e insoportables. A pesar de que el país se encuentra en una emergencia médica por COVID, los médicos me encontraron lo suficientemente crítico como para ser admitido en una sala de cuidados intensivos. Avance rápido hasta ahora 17/06/20 Estoy de vuelta en casa y estoy pasando por las fases finales de desintoxicación para volver a la normalidad. Para el dueño de MUY BONITOS chinos. Nunca te he conocido, nunca he estado en tu tienda, pero créeme, te has convertido en un enemigo acérrimo. Te haré una visita cuando esté completamente recuperado.

Un colega de trabajo me recomendó esto para llevar chino. La primera vez que lo probamos visitamos en persona y esperamos nuestra comida (arroz frito de Singapur, bolas de langostinos, chow mien de langostinos y pollo en salsa de frijoles negros). Estaba delicioso. Desde entonces, hemos ordenado en línea varias veces y nos han entregado la comida y me complace decir que no hemos tenido quejas ni con el tiempo de espera ni con la calidad de la comida. Nuestro favorito actual para llevar comida china.

The staff here are friendly and polite. The food was served hot and fresh. I ordered duck chow mien and I must say it was tasty with loads of flavour.

I am very angry and disgusted with the attitude and disrespect their delivery driver displayed towards me. Not only did he swear at me for not answering my doorbell (bearing in mind he rang the wrong one) he had the nerve to insult me infront of my neighbors! This is not acceptable and I've escalated this issue further. Do NOT order from a restaurant that fails to teach their staff how to show respect to their customers!

Visited this lovely shop last year and will definitely go again this summer! It was so original and the girls there were really helpful and friendly. Bought some lovely soaps and candles!

Very pleasantly surprised with the food from here. Have ignored this place down the road for years but finally gave it a go based on good reviews. Food tastes good and was value for money. I received Excellent customer service, will definitely will try again.

Truly exceptional food, all fresh as anything just out of the pans, the mixed starters had tasty deep fried spring rolls which were fantastic, amazing ribs, amazing chicken, amazing properly 'home made' prawn toast, and huge portion sizes. Special noodles were amazing as well, really tasty, and I didn't even manage to finish them because the portions are so big! Very very pleased. Also most importantly of all to me, delivered nearly AN HOUR early, and the delivery rider read the instruction to call, did so, waited for me to come to the door, and was very polite. Can't recommend enough.

I was very proud of the service! The food was extremely hot when it was delivered, everything was wrapped up nicely and presented well and the delivery guy had the best smile. To top it off the delivery came way before it's time. Keep up the good work guys!!

Prawn toast was very nice crispy and not soggy. Rice was okay had flavour not too salty and not greasy at all. Would try again.

Second time we've ordered her; quick and polite delivery. Very tasty again with really generous portions. The hot and sour soup was delicious! We've found the spicy dishes come up VERY spicy so if you're not into that take care! Will definitely order from them again.

Food tasted great, but the special fried rice had a prawn shell still in it (cut nephews gum open a bit) can of drink missing, and the pork dumplings were a touch soggy, but every thing tasted great still despite the issues!

Chicken fried rice was lovely. More black chips in the bag then white. Ribs was full of fat! They should be advatised as fat ribs.

A very nice meal. Fresh crunchy prawn toast, tasty well flavoured duck and spicy beef in black bean sauce. All not greasy and very fresh and delicious. Yum!

2nd time ordering from this restaurant and really disappointing experience. Crispy shredded beef appeared to be made up of two separate orders (different colours and consistencies) and I couldn't shake the feeling it was combined leftovers when I found a chip mixed in with the beef. There were no chips in my order. I couldn't eat it and had to throw out. Also our order of chilli oil was missed off although I was offered a discount for my next order. Not sure I will order from them again though.

Food is WAY better then the food from Bentos. They also give you a decent amount of food unlike bentos. Food is really nice and is tasty 😌 unlike bentos.

it arrived way quicker than it was even feasibly possible to cook the food let alone travel from bromley. nonetheless it was quick. the food was really bad, the vegetable udon noddles were pleasant but the sweet and sour sauce really ruined perfectly good vegetables.

Delivery was within 25 minutes which for a £50+ order was very impressive and the delivery driver was very nice and polite despite coming all the way to the 9th floor. This however does not get away from the fact that the food was well below par to the point that I didn't eat even half of my food (and I will eat almost anything). In short great service but a poor product.
