We have had several excellent deliveries from Vannuccis (meat/cheese platters and afternoon teas) in the last 6 months. You order through Facebook. On this particular occasion we ordered afternoon tea for 3 adults (£8 each including delivery) and some extra treats for a 6 year old for her birthday lockdown tea. It was delivered on time and we paid cash on delivery. Now if you are looking for a traditional afternoon tea this will not suit you! As previously it was mostly savoury. There were lots of freshly baked sausage rolls, mini steak pies (still warm), mini salmon quiches, slices of ham & beef, prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, pickled onions, grapes, strawberries. Strangely there weren’t any sandwiches on this occasion. We also had a scone each with jam & cream. My granddaughter had some cheesy pizza slices. Her promised hot-dogs were not there but there was still plenty and she was perfectly happy. Everything was delicious and there was more than enough to go round! There was even enough left over for supper later that evening and pack up the following day! When my daughter messaged later to query if there should have been sandwiches, the very apologetic reply was that we ended up with a meat platter instead of afternoon tea in error and they would drop off hot dogs and chips for lunch the following day as recompense! That too was great (although I missed out as I was at work) so a good result all round! I highly recommend Vannuccis. The food is always fresh, tasty and well packaged.

This review covers 2 fantastic deliveries! The food for both was exceptional. We read an article in the local paper initially and decided to give them a try for the first time during lockdown 2. Make sure you support this business which is to be found on Facebook. For the first experience we ordered 2 cheese platters and 1 meat platter (each platter serves 1 person) for a Sunday lunchtime. The platters cost £8 each and that includes delivery. We then shared them between 3 adults and one 5 year old. The food was exceptional! The sausage rolls, Scotch eggs and mini quiches were still warm, gorgeous, home-made and tasty. The mini meat pies had melt in the mouth pastry and tender steak. We also had pork pie, sliced ham, beef, salami and several different cheeses. We had crisps, bread sticks, salad, a pear, grapes, strawberries, tomatoes, cucumber, coleslaw and gherkins. There was plenty to go around, in fact we were greedy and managed to eat it all! I would highly recommend the platters. Our second experience was a mid-week afternoon tea for 2 people (again £8 each including delivery). It was more savoury than sweet; including freshly baked sausage rolls, mini steak pies, mini quiches and sandwiches (beef, ham, cheese/onion/mayo) with salad garnish. There was a slice of Battenberg cake each and a home baked scone. The scone looked a little flat but was light & fluffy and delicious. It had also been sliced in half with a scraping of jam inside – not enough by any means but easily remedied. I would have liked cream too, but luckily we had some in the fridge. There were also grapes and strawberries. For the money though, our afternoon tea was well worth it and incredibly tasty. I will definitely order from Vannuccis again!

Visited with my son on 27 th July. We opted for an outdoor table in the arcade. My son choose the full breakfast & I had the vegetarian. We ordered 2 hot drinks. The place was not packed but busy. Our drinks came fairly quickly but our breakfast not so quick. Our drinks were well & truly finished before our breakfast arrived which is a shame. The food was worth the wait & very nice. I think the full breakfast was worth the money but the vegetarian overpriced. Overall the service was slow. Food was good but some of it overpriced.
