Wonderful meal, and lovely atmosphere

Great little Italian eatery with a modern, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. Rather than offering dozens of mediocre choices it does a smaller menu really well. We had burrata with foccacia toast and parmesan wings to start. Followed that with spaghetti amatriciana and a creamy chestnut mushroom tagliatelle. Finished off with afogato and a kicking negroni. Reasonably priced. Recommended.

Absolutely blown away. Sat at the front of the restaurant overlooking vale street in a small but intimate section of the restaurant. Service was rapid and absolutely on point. We had a few choices from the starters followed by the main courses. Each element was punchy with flavour and you could tell the chefs have a real passion for the food. Certainly a must if you find yourself in Denbigh looking for a spot to eat. Felt like a little piece of Italy.

Always a lovely atmosphere with a fitting choice of music, and the food never ceases to feel like it's been cooked with care and attention - prices are also more than fair for the overall experience on offer. Definitely the place to eat in Denbigh, and probably my favourite independent restaurant at the moment!

Absolutely delicious. Flavour everywhere. We had caprese salad. Foccacia, ragu fries. Then chicken parm, beef ragu pasta and carbonara . Then affogato and cannoli. Everything was delicious. Service was fantastic.

Fantastic meal at this place. Visited yesterday to celebrate a birthday. 6 adults, a child and a baby, the staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. A gem of a place and we will be visiting again very soon. Thank you

I feel bad giving only 3 stars as the food is tasty, decent value, and the place is nice; but the service really let it down. The good: The nduja Arinchini were amazing, the carbonara was very tasty, and the tirimusu was delicous. The bad: the young lady serving us must have been very new, but didn't ask for our drink order, give us any cutlery, didn't inform us what was available (specials, run out of etc), and didn't know what was in some of the meals. After waiting 30 mins for staff to appear, i went in from the snug to order dessert. Another 20 mins later, they brought the desserts. The worst part was, the cannoli were filled with CREAM!!! this is unforgiveable. Nice place, need to train the new staff a bit more, and buy some Ricotta for the cannoli!

Great little restaurant serving up some tasty menus and drinks. Meals arrived quickly and were excellent. Good service and nicely priced. Serve proper coffee too to enjoy in or take away. Parking further up the hill in pay car park . Well worth a visit .

Wow who knew?! First time here . Friends go often . Small cosy place .great host . Not a large selection of choice . But wow delicious Starters and main . Try the olives delicious. Bought 2 cans of olives to take home . A delightful evening with great food . Cosy friendly atmosphere. Starter main glass of wine . Water . £25 . Inc tip . Yes i recommend everyone tries this place. On the hill opposite the carpark . Enjoy .

Great lunch, good service, £40 for 2 mains and a side with 2 non-alcoholic drinks. Menu isn’t huge but changes regularly which i like. Summer theres a great beer garden and cocktails in the top bar.

Food overall good other than presentation and dessert.The presentation definitely could’ve been better but the food really did surprise me in more ways than one like the focaccia I’ve been to Italy myself and this was just like that, beautiful. I was ready for a very nice tiramisu and was met with a below average cream ball. I did like the atmosphere, we had a booth with a heater and great service we were a big group with around fifteen people and we all agreed the cocktails were good. Other than the tiramisu I was only let down by the toilets. there was a queue leading out the toilets leading me to walk back to my guest accommodation just to go to the toilet. I enjoyed my time here and would come back if I was in the area.

Simple but utterly delicious pasta and sides, gorgeous cocktails and wonderful enthusiastic service with a smile. Highly recommend. Lovely place to go with friends.

Wow what an amazing gem of a place. I was invited to lunch by a friend and had no idea where we would be eating. This gorgeous place is small if you are eating indoors but it was so homely and welcoming. The food was just terrific, all home made and as it is a small menu you knew it was freshly prepared and by someone who knew about food. Not normally a pasta person I was in love with the Genovese Pasta which we shared a portion of and a portion of the fries with shin beef ragu on them again shared as we couldn't decide which to have. We also had the delicious focaccia crunchy on the outside and pillow soft inside and a bottle of the house red. Absolutely wonderful with lovely staff. Will definitely be visiting again. I’ve been to Vale Street Kitchen regularly over the last few months. The food and service are consistently brilliant. It’s a small controlled menu, which is excellently delivered. Have tried several pasta dishes and each one has been high end quality at a reasonable price. Specials are updated regularly; the arancini changes frequently and is superb. Highly recommend!

A cosy restaurant in the centre of Denbigh - perfect for family and friends. The Italian food there is delicious and the pasta, bruschetta and tiramisu are top class! Nice selection of beverages too and a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Struggling to find good vegan options in Mold area, so we traveled down the road to Denbigh and Vale Street Kitchen. So glad we did, reasonably priced, high quality, not run of the mill choices. Thank you so much, it was very much appreciated, plus parking across the road.

Had a lovely light meal here. A comfortable place with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is simple and the food well presented. Don't feel to check the 'Specials' board for some off-menu treats.

The food is completely delicious and at a very reasonable price. The server was attentive and thoughtfully saw to our every wish. This place is a lovely surprise in Denbigh Town centre, but is very small. I'm not the keenest on sitting on stools for dinner and I would say they would struggle with a party larger than 6. Worth it for the delightful food however.

Seen the fab reviews online and thought I would give it a go and was not disappointed. Great food for a great price. Tasted fresh and was also very filling. Host was very welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to return ✌🏼

I am SO glad we chanced on this amazing little cafe. Lovely lite bite, coffees and a range of Mediterranean /Italian inspired mains. The warmest of welcomes from very friendly staff. Stunning food with great vegan options. The pistachio lemon pasta was possibly the best vegan pasta I’ve ever had and the chef was kind enough to share the recipe. I would detour just to eat here again when heading over to Anglesey and will be recommending to friends.

I’ve been here a few times, and it never fails to impress. Great staff, fast service, delicious meals. What more could you want?! They are so great at allocating to dietary requirements and needs. I’m a vegetarian myself and it’s so nice to have more than one option to pick from like other restaurants. Not only this, but the atmosphere is lovely! Beautiful interior, cosy outdoor seating and best of all Keith Haring art work. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Had dinner with friends last night at VSK - the starters and the mains were really good and quite filling! Also, the service was attentive and we enjoyed dining at the restaurant so will definitely return.

We had a table for five people reserved ,the food was lovely and the service was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was relaxed with modern fresh decor ,the only criticism was that our table was a little cramped for five but will definitely come here again !

Very small place and the portions small but tasted lovely.

Lovely leisurely lunch with friends on Saturday, the food was excellent especially the arancini and the deep fried olives. All the staff were super friendly and helpful which made for a lovely atmosphere and we had a great time. I’d have no hesitation in recommending the Vale street Kitchen and feel lucky to have it here in Denbigh . Plan on visiting it often and I think there’s takeaway too!
