We were there for afternoon tea the service was excellent the food was delicious highly recommended this had a wonderful day thank you xx

I ordered a toasted chicken red onion and cheese toasted wrap with a small salad. The wrap was dry, the chicken was hard and dry, the onion was raw and the cheese had split and didn’t melt. It tasted off. It was like eating dry, mostly water and curds. It was like cold left overs with curdled cheese. It was disgusting and only for the side salad I would have been left starving. The worst £10 I’ve ever spent on a lunch. My partner had a cheese and ham panini and it was the same. Cold filling and curdled cheese. We left very dissatisfied. This cafe is capable of a much higher standard than this from previous visits. Sorely disappointed. I won’t be back and they need to get the cheap curdled cheese situation sorted asap…Ugh!!

I had heard about Toast from some locals and eventually got to try it for lunch a few weeks ago. To say the least we were very impressed - quite a simple basic menu of toasted sandwiches etc, plus some specials. We both had toasted sandwiches and they managed to turn these into something exceptionally tasty with a beautiful side salad, coleslaw and crisps. All of the other meals we saw coming out also looked really good. The staff were also very friendly and efficient. So we went back again today and again couldn’t fault it in any way.

Definitely a local favourite! Food always good and at a reasonable price. Briefly spoke to a lovely young lady Sarah who was tidying the table and deserved a mention. So polite and an asset to the company...it's not often young people leave a mark for the right reasons. Credit to you toast. Will be back soon 😊

Toast always serves delicious food. The atmosphere is lovely, the hygiene is excellent. My husband and I have been here several times in the last few months, either with friends or just ourselves, and we are never disappointed. And the staff are great as well. 10 out of 10 in every way!!

Nice little cafe in Cullybackey village near Ballymena called "Toast". As you can probably guess from the title of this review that this little cafe is famous for its Toasties it makes. On arrival you have a choice of fillings in white or brown bread, but don't worry if you don't want a toaties there are many other choices including chicken goujons, pasta and more. A nice Mocha Coffee and a warm cheesy Toastie on a cold winters day is a mood changer in my opinion and is joyful good food. There is also parking available at the site around the back for anyone traveling by car.

This is just a great cafe in a small town. Had full breakfast so hot, tasty and cooked to perfection. The scones cakes and apple pie are just so lovely. Each time I buy some to take away. Well organised for COVID.

Great food at great prices with excellent service provided in a COVID-19 safe atmosphere. Social distancing is maintained with hand sanitizer stations available around the cafe.

Toast is actually located in Cullybackey on the Main Street and isn't in Ballymena, but TA doesn't accept the postcode. Toast is very popular with the locals and serves a wide variety of sandwiches, toasties, scones, soups, etc. The choice is very good. Portions are not small - they will satisfy anyone and all are freshly cooked and you won't be disappointed. The staff are very friendly and local - chat is always good and if you're a local, then you know what the village gossip is. Although I left the area over 30 years ago, I was in one day and met old friends I'd not seen in years... So if you are from the area, call in and support your local businesses.

Visited here for the first time yesterday afternoon and will definitely be going back. I spotted bacon bagels on the breakfast menu and asked if there was any possibility of getting one even though breakfast was over. The chef cooked the bacon fresh and I have to say it was probably one of the nicest bacon bagels I've ever had. I also had a coconut latte, which I was over the moon about because very few places have coconut flavour syrup. My partner had turnip and bacon soup which was quite unusual but absolutely delicious. I was shocked at the size of the place but delighted to get a table with comfy seats in the window to watch the world go by. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Toast is an absolute gem. We loved it!

Stopped here on way to Ballymena and had really nice coffees and delicious scones. Service was very friendly and quick and restaurant and toilets spotless. Bill was only £7. Parking at back of restaurant

Probably the best breakfast around. Freshly cooked to order and great selection of breakfast items. Great coffee too with free top-ups and even their decaff tastes good. Great selection of cakes and pastries too. And very good value for money.

I had the homemade pancake stack and it was the best I have ever had. The food was amazing, great taste and a great value price to match. The staff are always really friendly here, will be recommending Toast as much as I can!!!

I've been a regular here since it opened a couple of years ago. The coffee and scones are superb, and you get free refills (in the morning anyway, which is usually when I visit). The best feature is the friendly staff, always smiling. Spotlessly clean....
